About College:

National Institute of Rural Development is an autonomous organisation of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The institute's services are available to different ministries/ departments of the Central and State Governments, banking institutions, public and private sector organisations, civil society organisations and other national and international agencies connected with rural development. NIRD aim is to examine and analyse the factors contributing to the improvement of economic and social well-being of people in rural areas on a sustainable basis with focus on the rural poor and the other disadvantaged groups through research, action research and consultancy efforts and facilitate the rural development efforts with particular emphasis and focus on the rural poor by improving the knowledge,skills and attitudes of rural development officials and non-officials through organising training, workshops and seminars.

Course Name:

Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Rural Management (PGDM-RM) Batch-2 [Approved By AICTE] Full Time Residential Programme

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

·         Minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates) or equivalent in Graduation. 

·         Valid Score in CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA for 2019 admissions 

·         Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements before 15 th June 2019, may also apply

SELECTION PROCESS: Should have valid score in any of the qualifying exams: CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA during the year 2018-19 have to apply through online from in web portal i.e. www.nird.org.in/pgdrdm.aspx. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews for final selection.

How to Apply:

Applications are to be submitted by online only. Downloaded application shall not the accepted.

Before applying the candidates must have the following in hand: 

·         A valid Registration/Application Number of any one of the Management Admissions Tests (CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT) 

·         Valid and active personal Email-Id 

·         Valid Mobile Number for verification and future correspondence 

·         A Application fee of Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST and PWD candidates) will be accepted through Online only. 

·         Applications received after the last date shall not be accepted. 

·         NIRDPR reserves the right to make changes to the Management Programme, its design/content and the process of selection, depending upon the exigencies without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

·         Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements before 15th June 2019, may also apply.

SELECTION PROCESS: Should have valid score in any of the qualifying exams: CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA during the year 2018-19 (or) appear for All India Entrance Examination conducted by NIRDPR, Hyderabad On 28th April, 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews for final selection.

About College:

Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO, is a poineering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. The Institute was initially established as an United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project and was executed by International Labour Organisation (ILO). The Precision machinery and equipment was donated by UNDP and the faculties were trained abroad in the area of Tool Engineering. The UNDP Experts stayed at CITD for about 5 years and trained officers, faculty & staff of CITD in manufacture and design of tooling.

Diploma in Tool, Die and Mould Making (DTDM)

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility:

10th Pass with 50% for general & 45% for SC / ST.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (DECE)

Diploma in Automation and Robotics Engineering (DARE)

Application form can be downloaded from our website www.citdindia.org under the link “Diploma Admission Notification-2019” and the filled in application forms can be sent to The Director (Trg), CITD, Balanagar, Hyderabad-500037, along with prescribed application cost Rs. 700/- for General and Rs. 350/- for SC/ST category and for PWD candidates fully exempted. However SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly attested by a Gazetted Officer; by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad or By Online through the website (detailed steps of online payment can be found from prospectus).
