We have adopted for ourselves a mission that advocates social transformation through dynamic education. 26th April,1996 was a moment of glory for Bharati Vidyapeeth, the day on which the Government of India granted the status of University initially to a cluster of 12 Institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth on the recommendations of University Grants Commission. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has 29 Constituent units and perhaps it may be the largest multi disciplinary multi campus university of its kind in the country. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has introduced a large number of innovative degree and diploma programmes after considering demand for the same from the students. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University invariably revises its course structures and syllabi periodically.

Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Master of Social Work MSW in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, BVDU, Pune

·         Admission to MSW Program is open to graduates (12+3) of any Indian or Foreign Recognised University

·         Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination (bachelor's degree exam) in April/May 2018 and are waiting for the results are also eligible for 1st year M.S.W.

·         However, the admission of such students will be confirmed only after producing the original passing certificate within three months from the date of admission

Intake

The intake of admission to MSW Program is 60 at the Pune Centre & 60 (30 seats aided & 30 seats unaided) at the Solapur Centre
The Fees & Other Charges: 

·         The MSW Program is conducted on Grant-in-Aid-basis by the Commissionerate of Social Welfare (Govt. of Maharashtra). The total amount of fees for 1st year will be of Rs.11600/- for the students of Maharashtra domicile

·         This includes Tuition Fees, Field Work, Library Fee, and Student Aid Fund. The students have to pay fees for Seminar/Workshops/Study Tour separately

·         The students SC/ST/OBC/VJNT/SBC etc are not eligible for the Govt. of India scholarship

 Selection of Specialization:

·         The students provisionally selected for M.S.W. Part I Class will have to undergo an Aptitude Test (50 marks)

·         The Aptitude test contains objective question paper of respective specialisation i.e. HRM & LW, URCD, FCD and personal interview taken by the Specialisation Selection Committee constituted by the Director

Application Procedure:

·         A candidate desirous of appearing for the "MSW-2018" entrance test is required to complete the prescribed online application form and submit to the University along with entrance test fee

·         Application Form is available online at Website

·         Candidates should strictly follow the instructions given in the website while filling up the application form online and must read the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form

·         Instructions are mentioned at 'Registration Guide' menu which is available on website. Before filling up the application form online, candidates should:

·         Create their login credential

·         Have a scanned image of their recent passport size photograph (Refer to guidelines mentioned on the Website)

·         Have a scanned image of their signature, ready before filling up the online application form

·         Read the procedure and guidelines for online payments of test fee which is to be made through Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking

Date of Group Discussion: 25th June 2018 from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm

Date of Personal Interview: 25th June 2018 from 11.00 am onwards

Declaration of Result: 28th June 2018 after 05.00 pm

Commencement of Classes: 02nd July 2018
