About College:

The Indian Institute of Forest Management is a sectoral management institute, which constantly endeavors to evolve knowledge useful for the managers in the area of Forest, Environment and Natural Resources Management and allied sectors. It disseminates such knowledge in ways that promote its application by individuals and organizations. IIFM has been established with the following objectives:

Provide training in management and related subjects for persons from the Indian Forest Service, Forest Departments, Forest Development Corporation and Forest related industries with a view to equip them to practice the art and profession of management of forestry development.

Course Name:

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) [Areas of Specialization: Communication and Extension Management, Ecosystem and Environment Management, Environment and Developmental Economics, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Information Technology and Quantitative Techniques, Marketing Management, Sociology and Community Development, Technical Forestry, Strategic Management]

Eligibility:

Maximum age limit is 45 years as on 1st July 2019. A Bachelors degree with at least 50 percent marks and Masters degree (minimum two years prescribed duration after 10+2+3 years of formal education) in relevant discipline (relevancy has to be decided by the IIFM) with minimum 55% marks (absolute) including Five year/Four-year Integrated Master's Degree programme and with good academic records., or Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with minimum 55% marks (absolute) or for IIFM Graduates, who have done PGDFM and IIM graduates who have done PGDM, the minimum OGPA of 3.00 in 4.33 maximum scale, is required or For MRM Post Graduates from IIFM, with 3.00 CGPA. Note: For those qualifications where the above 4.33 scale is not available, the eligibility will be decided by the Equivalence Committee constituted by the Director, IIFM and its decision will be final.

Financial Assistance

Each student would be given a monthly fellowship of Rs.16,000/- in first and second year; Rs.19,000/- in third and fourth year during the programme. A contingency grant of Rs.35,000/- per year would also be provided.

Interested candidates are required to submit their application in the prescribed application form with all supporting documents mentioned in the form. Application form and details about the programme are available at Institute’s website at FPM admission page or can be obtained in person or by post by sending a request along with bank draft of Rs.500/- Completed application form (accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- for forms downloaded from website) in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management, payable at Bhopal, should be sent to Chairperson FPM Admission, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal 462003, M.P. so as to reach IIFM on or before 31^st May, 2019. IIFM will not be responsible for late receipt of application material due to any postal delay or any other reason beyond control of the Institute.
