About College:

Realizing the potentialities and needs of modernization of the plantation sector through management education and training, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India constituted a core group in 1990 to set up a strategic institution of management education in the plantation sector. IIPM envisaged as a centre of excellence, to act as a think tank and an intellectual resource base for the plantation and associated agri-business sector. It is an exclusive sectoral school of management in Asia, based on a new model intensive institute-industry interaction. In November 1993, the institute was established as an autonomous educational institute of higher learning. It is jointly sponsored by Commodity Boards of India viz., Coffee Board, Tea Board, Rubber Board, Spices Board and Plantation Associations viz., UPASI and India Tea Association (ITA).

Course Name:

Post Graduate Diploma in Management Food Processing and Business Management (PGDM-FPBM) 3^rd Batch 2019-2021, Approved by AICTE-MHRD-GoI

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

The minimum qualification for admission is a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC, ST and Persons with Disability) in food technology, food science/ nutrition, fisheries, dairy, animal husbandry, horticulture or allied disciplines. The candidates must have a valid score of CAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/ GATE exam. Selection will be made purely based on merit through national competitive examinations and GDI.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management Agribusiness and Plantation Management (PGDM-ABPM) 19^th Batch [Approved by AICTE-MHRD-GOI, NBA Accredited, Equivalent to MBA by AIU]

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

·         The essential qualification for admission is a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC, ST and Persons with Disability) in agricultural and allied sciences or any other discipline.

·         NRI / PIO / Foreign students can also apply.

·         The candidates must have a valid score of CAT / MAT / ATMA / CMAT exam.

·         Selection will be on the basis of academic record, test scores, writing skill and performance in group discussion and personal interview.

Reservation

The Reservation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates is applicable as per the Government of India rules, subject to meeting the other eligibility criteria for admission.

Scholarships

Meritorious Scholarships from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. State Government Scholarships for OBC Students.
