About College:

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the seven Institutes of technology created as centers excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India, the others being at Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Bombay, Guwahati and Roorkee. Established as College Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared an Institution of National Importance under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963" and was renamed "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi ". It was then accorded the status of a deemed university with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, laid the foundation stone of the Institute on January 27, 1959. The Institute was inaugurated by Prof.Humayun Kabir, the then Union Minister for Scientific Research and Cultural Affairs on August 21, 1961. The Institute buildings were formally opened by Dr.Zakir Hussain, the then President of India, on March 2, 1968.

Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Master of Business Administration MBA in Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Delhi

·         Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized university

·         Candidates should have minimum of 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate or 6.75 CGPA (6.25 CGPA in case of SC/ST candidates) on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree.

·         Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting Results can also apply. 

Selection Procedure for IIT, Delhi:

Candidates are shortlisted based on the qualifying exam CAT 2016. Shortlisted candidates are invited for group discussion and interview.
