About College:

The Institute of Advanced Studies and Research (IASR) - An initiative of JIS Group, Kolkata starts its journey with three Centers, viz,

·         Centre for Data Science

·         Centre for Health Science and Technology

·         Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences

Consecrated to the service of the humanity, with a mission to create highly skilled manpower that will be capable to solve the complex problems faced by the industries of 21st century, the academically autonomous institute, IASR will spread its wings with effect from March 2019.

The Institute will offer several Masters and PhD programs in diverse areas of Data Science, Health Science and Technology, and Interdisciplinary Sciences from this academic year.

With outstanding academic personalities leading the education and research programs, the Institute will have excellent faculty members both from academia and industries.

M.Tech in Data Science

M.Tech in Computer Vision and Machine Intelligence

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility:

B.Tech / B.E in any engineering discipline or M.Sc in Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics Science, or MCA with good academic records from recognised universities from India or abroad.

Course Name:

M.Tech in Bioinformatics

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility:

M.Sc / B.Tech / B.E in Biological Sciences / Biotechnology / Life Science / Physics / Chemistry / Statistics / Computer Science or MBBS with good academic records from recognised universities from India or abroad.

Course Name:

Certificate Course on 'Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing' (To be extended to One Year Diploma on 'Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing')

Duration: 6 Months

Eligibility:

M.Sc / B.Tech / B.E in any discipline.
