About College:

On the recommendations of the Central Sanskrit Commission appointed by the  Government of India during 1950s, a Central Sanskrit Institute was established at Tirupati in 1961 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in partial full filment of the recommendations, for the preservation and propagation of Traditional Sanskrit  learning combining it with the modern methods of research.  The Government of India constituted an autonomous registered body called ‘Kendriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha Tirupati Society’ for the administration of the institution.

PrakSastri /+2 / Intermediate or equivalent.

Diploma in Sanskrit [Directorate of Distance Education] Duration: 1 year

Eligibility:

Certificate course in Sanskrit of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati /Samskritha Prathama Diksha of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi / Prak-Sastri +2 or equivalent examination, age-16 years

Course Name:

P.G. Diploma in Yoga Vijnan [Directorate of Distance Education] Duration: 1 year

Eligibility:

Any Degree

Course Name:

Certificate course in Sanskrit [Directorate of Distance Education] Duration: 6 months

Eligibility:

13 years with reading and writing ability in Sanskrit.

How to Apply:

The application form & prospectus can be obtained form the Director, D.D.E. Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati-517501 (A.P). in person on production of DD Rs.200/- or through post by sending a DD for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati. Name and address should be written on the backside of the D.D.& Course in to which to join.

The Prospectus & Application can be downloaded from the website http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in and have to attach a demand draft of Rs. 200/- in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha, Tirupati seperately other than the course fees. Applications are available from : 15-05-18.

Closing Date:

Last date for receipt of filled in applications without fine: 31^st August, 2018. With fine Rs.100/- up to 15-09-18. Rs.200/- up to 29-09-18

Examination centre: RSVP Tirupati Campus only.
