About College:

State Institute of Hotel Management, Udaipur, Formerly Food Craft institute, Udaipur was established in the year 1989. The institute has been upgraded, and will be running BSC. HHA Programme from the session 2019 -20 along with the diploma programmes. The institute has state of art facilities for its degree and diploma programmes, Supported by experienced faculty. The Institute also has a boy’s hostel. The institute has produced professionals holding positions as General Managers, Departmental heads in the hospitality sector, in India and abroad. Few are entrepreneurs doing excellent business.

The Institute has given excellent results over the years for diploma courses. Ten of our students have received National Award for Academic excellence in Front Office, Food Production, F&B Service and Housekeeping on National Tourism Awards Functions at New Delhi. The principal and faculties have been trained in Direct Trainer Skill, Design of Training, Management of Training, Training- ‘Train the trainer’ Workshop, Manpower Development etc. The principal went for management development programme at ASKI Hyderabad, Malasiya, & Singapore. Asst. Lecturers were sent for the workshop on Regional Cooking at Chandigarh & on Wines at Bangalore. Since the inception, the institute has groomed its students into fine professionals.

Diploma in Food Production (DFP)

Diploma in Food and Beverage Service (DFBS)

Diploma in Housekeeping Operations (DHO)

Diploma in Front Office Operations (DFO)

Duration: 1 ½ Year

Eligibility:

Minimum qualification is 12th Pass under 10+2 System for admission in any of the four trade diploma courses.

Age – Maximum 25 Years for general Candidates 5 years relaxation for ST/SC/ Women candidates

Interested candidates may purchase the form the office of SIHM, Udaipur on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred only) for general candidates and Rs. 300/- (Rs. Three hundred only) for SC/ST candidates or download the form from our website and send by post along with bank draft drawn in favour of Principal, SIHM Udaipur Payable at Udaipur. Prospectus fees can be paid through NEFT transfer in the name of State Institute of Hotel Management, Udaipur.
