About College:

The Integrated Institutional Campus at Rohtak comprises of 4 Institutions namely State Institute of Fashion & Design (SIFD), State Institute of Fine Arts (SIFA), State Institute of Film & TV (SIF&TV) and State Institute of Urban planning and Architecture. These institutions are being established at a capital expenditure of Rs.300.0 crores by Govt. of Haryana through Government Technical Institution Society, Rohtak. There are 4 individual institution buildings with one central block having Auditorium, Art Gallery, cafeteria and guest House. The campus is designed by internationally renowned architect Raj Rewal and M/s RITES company of Government of India is Project Management Consultant. For residential campus one site has been identified at Sector-6 HUDA and one site of 15 acres is already in possession at a distance of 5 km. from institutional campus. The first phase of residential campus is likely to be completed by July 2012. For current academic session the process for providing leased accommodation is in the progress. 

Institution buildings are provided with Lecture Theatre, Conference Room / Seminar Halls, Library, Computer Centre, Art & Film, TV studios , workshop , Labs, Sports Facilities, Open Air Theatre, Production Facilities, Preview Theatre etc. as per need of programme.

The objective is to create world class professionals in the field of Art, Fashion Design, Film & Television and management by providing state of the art facilities and to follow best educational practices to nurture talent and creative skills of young aspirants. Institutions are modelled on the line of apex institutions of National importance with de novo autonomy. Education in India has evolved as one of the fast growing fields and encompasses tremendous opportunities for the young entrepreneurs to demonstrate talent and skills. India with its rich heritage and traditions offers scope for creative activities and has the potential to be the global leader in the creative field. Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Bachelor degree programme in Architecture in State University of Performing and Visual Arts, SUPVA, Rohtak

The 12th pass or appearing in 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.

A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.

3 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
