About College:

The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar owes its origin to a Social Contract between the Government of Orissa and the OJS (Orissa Jesuit Society). The Management of the institute is in the hands of a Governing Board, consisting of representatives from the Jesuit Society, Government of India, Government of Orissa and eminent industrialists and educationists.

Since its inception in 1987, Institute has been offering quality management education with a human face. Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MBA in Business Management in Xavier Institute of Management, XIM, Bhubaneswar

The minimum requirement for admission to the program is a three-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2017, can also apply.

Selection Procedure for XIMB:

Applicants are required to take any one of the admission tests: XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, or CAT to be conducted by IIMs or GMAT taken in 2015 or 2016 (minimum score for applying 550), or X-GMAT to be conducted Xavier University Bhubaneswar.

The institute will decide the section-wise as well as total cut-off marks which will be used for short-listing the candidates to be called for Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI).

The final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ X-GMAT as well as in the WAT, and PI (which factors in the past academic record and relevant work experience).
