About College:
The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar owes its origin to a Social Contract between the Government of Orissa and the OJS (Orissa Jesuit Society). The Management of the institute is in the hands of a Governing Board, consisting of representatives from the Jesuit Society, Government of India, Government of Orissa and eminent industrialists and educationists.
Since its inception in 1987, Institute has been offering quality management education with a human face. Paper Pattern for X-GMAT 2017:
· The on-line X-GMAT test will be of 120 minutes duration.
· The multiple choice question (MCQ) type test will have five sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Emotional Quotient and General Awareness.
· There will be sectional time limits, with negative markings for wrong answers.
· The pattern and syllabus will be similar to the other tests like CAT and XAT.

Candidates should have master’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognised university, with at least 55% marks. In case the score is available on a letter-grade system, the Institute expects a minimum cumulative score of 5.5 on a 10-point scale.

Step 1: Fill up the "Personal Details/Academic Details/Professional Details and upload your photo & signature" (in the Next page) to create and receive by email a unique XUB ID and Password for applying to XIMB. If you have already received your XUB ID and Password, then login as per Step 2.
Step 2: Login with your XUB ID and Password. Choose the programme you want to apply for and fill up the final part (Programme Details) of the application form and Submit.
Step 3: Pay the application fee as instructed in the Payment Advice Form. (Application fee is Rs.1300/- for first option, Rs. 700/- for the second, and Rs.500/- each for every additional program or test option.)
Step 4: Send the Payment Advice Form and proof of payment to: The Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar-751013.
If you have filled the application form and paid the application fee successfully, you will receive the confirmation by email regarding the acceptance of your online application form. Subsequently, the information Bulletin-2017 will be mailed to you to the present address given in the online form.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic records and SOPs. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for Xavier Research Aptitude Test (X-RAT), and Personal Interview to be held in Bhubaneswar. UGC-NET qualified candidates will be exempted from appearing for the X-RAT.
