About College:

Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO, is a poineering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. The Institute was initially established as an United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project and was executed by International Labour Organisation (ILO). The Precision machinery and equipment was donated by UNDP and the faculty were trained abroad in the area of Tool Engineering. The UNDP Experts stayed at CITD for about 5 years and trained officers, faculty & staff of CITD in manufacture and design of tooling.

Post Graduate Diploma in VLSI and Embedded Systems [Approved under: NSQF (Level-8)]

Duration: 1½ years

Course Fee: Rs. 35,000/- Per Semester

B. E. /B. Tech (ECE/EEE/EIE) or its equivalent.

Duration: 1 ½ years

Course Fee: Rs. 35,000/- Per Semester

Eligibility:

B.E./B.Tech (Mech/ECE/EEE/EIE/Prod/Aero/Auto) or its equivalent

How to Apply:

Registration fee: Rs. 1800/-

Security deposit: Rs. 5000/- (Refundable on successful completion of the course)

Note: Fee waiver will be provided for SC and ST candidates as per Govt of India norms.

Cost of Application: Rs. 800/- for general and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST category candidates. However SC/ST category candidates need to enclose proof of their category.

Mode of Selection: Candidates under all categories will be selected based on the rank obtained in the Entrance examination.

(A) Application form can be downloaded from our website and the filled in application forms can be sent to the Director (Trg), CITD, Hyderabad, on or before 14.12.2019 along with prescribed application cost by way of online receipt or Demand draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad.
