About College:
State University of Performing and Visual Arts, ab initio, established as Integrated Campus of the Government Technical Institution(s) Society came into existence by Haryana Government Act No. 24 of 2014 with the objective to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of Design, Fine Arts, Urban Planning and Architecture and Film & Television and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields. The University is located at Rohtak in the State of Haryana – about 80 Kms. from Delhi on Delhi-Hissar - Sirsa National Highway (NH-10) and is well connected to NH-1, being only 90k.m.from Panipat. It is well connected by rail as well as road. Rohtak is the education hub of the State with excellent facilities for education in all fields of knowledge. It is a unique world level University with a campus sprawling over 35 acres of land and is well laid with state-of-the-art buildings and magnificent road network, presents a spectacle of harmony in architecture and natural beauty.
Course Name:
Master of Mass Communication (Media Production)
Eligibility:
Graduate in Mass Communication or any other Graduate programme in Media Studies with at least 50% marks
OR
Bachelor Degree in Film and TV with 50% marks
OR
3 Year PG Diploma in Film and TV with 45% marks.
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Media Studies with 50% marks.
Haryana Scheduled caste candidates should have 47.5% Marks in Graduation/or 42.75% in 3 year Post Graduate Diploma in Film and Television.
Note:
1. for admission to PG Programmes, the candidates having qualified the required course through regular mode shall be eligible for admission.
2. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examinations may also apply for admission, but they will have to submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of counseling.

Master of Visual Arts (applied Arts/Painting)
Eligibility:
50% in Bachelor of Fine Arts/Bachelor of Visual Arts in Painting/Applied Art/Sculpture/or equivalent degree. for schedule caste candidates of Haryana, it is 47.5%
Note:
1. for admission to PG Programmes, the candidates having qualified the required course through regular mode shall be eligible for admission.
2. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examinations may also apply for admission, but they will have to submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of counseling.
Course Name:
Master of Design (Fashion Design)
Eligibility:
50% in Bachelor in design in any stream/Bachelor in fashion technology or equivalent degree/BVA in any stream i.e. in painting/applied art/sculpture/animation and multimedia/graphics or B.Sc. Home Science (Textile Design)/ Apparel Design. for schedule Caste Candidates of haryana, it is 47.5%.

Eligibility:
(A) Bachelor's Degree in Urban and regional Planning/Architecture/Civil Engineering with at least 50% marks (47.5% for schedule Caste candidate of Haryana) in aggregate.
OR
(B) Equivalent degree in any relevant area
Note:

How to Apply:
1. This Prospectus is for admission to various Post-graduate Programmmes of Pt. LC SUPVA for the academic session 2019-20 only. if at all any contents are changed the same will be notified on the university website.
2. Prospectus for admission for the session 2019-20 can be downloaded form the univrsity's website.
3. Application fee once paid shall not be refunded in any case.
4. Application for admission may be submitted alongwith fee online. the candidates must also upload self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials of all the examinations passed by the candidates form 10th standard onwards/other documents and latest character certificate.
