About College:

The rapid economic growth in India has created an urgent need to address the issues related to urbanization and development. Built Environment is the field that integrates and combines different aspects of development, both tangible and intangible, through physical manifestation and helps in creating a better society and living environment. The disciplines of Architecture and planning itself go beyond functional aspects of design and buildings, and helps in creating vibrant environment thereby enhancing the quality of life of the people and the overall aesthetics of the place. It is this field that encompasses various aspects like urban design; land utilization, energy conservation, sustainability ecology, landscape, conservation, affordable houses, infrastructure and public transport etc. at both micro and macro level. Founded in 2014 and led by Prof Utpal Sharma, Institute of Architecture is the latest addition to Nirma University.

Course Name:

Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) Duration: 5 year

Eligibility:

(35% All India Seats & 15% NRI Seats):

1.      Candidate should have qualified NATA Score card and,

2.      Candidate should have passed Qualifying Examination i.e. 10+2 or 10+3 years Diploma recognized by the Central/State governments or IB Diploma and or Equivalent Examination  with Mathematics or Statistics or Business Mathematics as one of the subject with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Course Name:

Bachelor of Planning (BPlan) Duration: 4 year

Eligibility:

(35% All India Seats & 15% NRI Seats):

1.      Candidate should have appeared JEE (Main) 2018 (For 35% All India Seats and NRI Sponsored Category).

2.      Candidate must have passed 12th Science Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with the percentage of marks as to be decided by the Government of Gujarat under the rules of admission.
