Admission Criteria

A candidate must have passed Intermediate Examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University, securing minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% aggregate of the 10+2 level examination OR passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject having obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

Candidate must have secured Valid Score / Rank of any Aptitude Test (UPEE-2020/JEE-MAINS-2020/NATA-2020).

AIT was founded in August 1994, as a result of the vision, and untiring efforts of Gen B.C Joshi PVSM, AVSM, ADC.The Institute was inaugurated by Gen S.Roy Chaudhary PVSM, ADC on 24th Feb, 1995.The beautiful campus, serene ambience and architectural splendor,state of the art infrastructure, all provide vital ingredients for a delectable academic environment for development of total quality engineers.

Course Description:

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) [Program in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology]

Eligibility:

Children of serving/retired Army personnel are eligible.

The candidate must fulfill the age criteria requirements as per JEE Main 2016.

Candidates should have passed class XII or equivalent (appeared or passed) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Candidates must be an Indian citizen.

Selection Procedure for AIT, Pune:

AIT admission is based on the rank obtained in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2016.

Admission at AIT, Pune, will tentatively take place two weeks after the date of declaration of JEE (Main) all India rank.

All applicants are therefore required to appear in JEE Main 2015 and also apply to AIT for admission.

How to Apply:

Application Form.

(a) Online. Online application form is available on www.aitpune.com. Application fee of Rs 750/- can be paid through credit/debit card or netbanking. In addition candidate will need to pay a processing charge of Rs 37/-.

(b) By hand. A limited quantity of prospectus (hard copies) with application form will be available at AIT, Pune, HQ Commands and Headquarters AWES on payment of Rs 750/- through bank DD of a nationalised bank drawn in favour of Director, AIT and payable at Pune. No payment through cheque (including at-par cheques) will be accepted.

(c) By Post. Prospectus with application form can also be obtained by post from AIT on payment of Rs 820/- through bank DD drawn in favour of Director, AIT payable at Pune.

Note:- (i) Candidates are advised to use online facility for applying as far as possible. (ii) Cost of prospectus will not be refunded, if returned.
