Age Relaxation:

·         SC/ST Students:- 5% relaxation in Eligibility criteria

·         OBC Students:- 2.5% relaxation in Eligibility criteria

Ph.D (Full-time and Part-time) Basic Science:

·         MS/M.Tech with 1st Division or CGPA of 6.75 or above on a 10-point scale

·         Sciences: Post graduation with 55% marks or a CGPA of 6.25 or above

·         UGC/CSIR (JRF), NET/GATE qualified candidates may be exempted from appearing in the entrance examination. However, they will necessarily have to undergo an interview

Age Relaxation:

·         SC/ST Students:- 5% relaxation in Eligibility criteria

·         OBC Students:- 2.5% relaxation in Eligibility criteria

·         In exceptional cases a candidate with a B.Tech/BS degree with min. 75% marks or CGPA of 8.25 may be directly enrolled in Ph.D in relaxation of the prescribed qualification, provided he/she is working with an institution/organization of National repute engaged in research work and has over 5 years of research exp. and has published at least 4 papers in referred/national/international journals. DRC may consider the eligibility for admission of such candidate base on his/her published work/patents etc. If deemed necessary, DRC may suggest completion of few audit/credit courses for such candidates

Ph.D (Full-time and Part-time) Law:

·         LL.M/ML degree (with a minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST students) from Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions recognized by Bar Council of India and eligible for enrolment as an advocate in India

OR

·         LL.M/ML degree from any foreign University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade and recommendations of the equivalence committee

Age Relaxation:

How to Apply:

Applications are invited on prescribed application form only which can be filled online/collecting hard copy from University/downloading application and sending complete form along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- (One Thousand Two Hundred Only) in favour of Sharda University, payable at Greater Noida.

Application Fee: Rs. 1200.00 (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred Only)

Admissions to different Ph.D. courses (1802) of Sharda University will be made strictly on merit and availability of seats through Entrance Test followed by an Interview. The Ph.D. Programme is governed by Ph.D. Ordinance 2017 (available on university website) of Sharda University. The total number of seats in each subject is indicated in table on university website against each School/ Department. Full-time eligible students are entitled for the monthly “fellowship cum assistantship” as per Sharda University rules.

Date of Entrance Test: 20th December, 2018 (Thursday) (10:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Date of Interview: 21st December, 2018 (Friday) (09:00 am onwards)
