About College:

SCMS Nagpur has been established with the objective of imparting world class management education at the undergraduate level to aspiring managers and to identify, nurture and grow their potential to become responsible, ethical and performing management professionals and entrepreuners.

Prof. (Dr.) Shrirang Altekar holds a Ph.D. in Consumer Behavior. He is also an alumnus of the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, a top 10 B - School in India, from where he did his Master’s in Business Administration, with Marketing as his area of specialization. He has extensive knowledge of technical and non-technical areas of business and has been involved in running businesses at the strategic level. He comes with an industry background of 23 years. He has worked in a consulting, advisory and learning and development capacity with several corporates in the FMCG, Insurance, Manufacturing, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Aviation Sectors. His love for academics and a desire to give back to his Alma Mater coincided with a planned shift to academics in 2006. Dr. Altekar also holds a degree in Law, and was the Chairman of the Curriculum Evaluation Committee and the Academic Audit Committee of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for 2 years. He is the Editor in Chief of the Journal of General Management Research.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility:

The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) standard examination from any government-recognized board with minimum 50% marks (45% for S.C. / S.T. students) in one attempt (No Compartment / Supplementary). Students who have appeared for their Std. XII finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.

Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for the Course.

How to Apply:

Admission on the basis of PI WAT (Personal Interaction, Writing Ability Test).

All admissions will be given based on merit only in the selection process.

Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies formerly introduced as Symbiosis BBA was formally inaugurated on July 12, 2004 in a grand ceremony. What followed was a journey of discovery, excitement and activities that has taken us one step ahead in our continuous quest for excellence.

Presently the institute offers only one programme i.e the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). However, we offer three streams to choose from.

Step 1: A candidate can register for one paper from the morning session General.  Register at website. This will generate your SET ID.

You need to upload your latest scanned photograph (in the given format and size) at the time of online registration.

Step 2:

Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1500/- towards the test fee and for prospectus of undergraduate programmes of Symbiosis International University. The SIU Admission Cell will courier a copy of prospectus to the address registered at website

Candidates have four (4) choices for payment as follows,

1. CASH:

·         This 'Payment Advice' form is in three parts. Pay Rs. 1500/- in cash at Axis Bank or Indian Bank branches in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two parts of the 'payment advice' form to you. The 'student copy' is your receipt
