As a service to its member institutions, AIMS conducts the ATMA, a national test, which member Institutes can use for selection of students to the MBA / PGDM / PGDMB programmes. Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) is the national network of management schools. It represents Indian Management Schools in various national and international fora connected with Management Education. AIMS organises “AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA)" a standard test for admission to postgraduate management programme ATMA approved by AICTE, is focused on the student. It is designed to assess the aptitude for management education including verbal skills, quantitative skills and analytical reasoning of students.

How to apply online for taking ATMA?

All students wishing to take the ATMA Test on 20th February 2011 must register online using the ID Code enclosed in the Bulletin and following the instructions given on page 5 of the Bulletin ATMA – 2011

The admission kit contains the following:

1.      Bulletin with information about ATMA.

2.      An adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the Bulletin front cover.

ü       When you purchase ATMA admission kit, you will be given a receipt by the sales centre. The same is required to be submitted to the invigilator at the time of examination along with the admit card.

ü       Inside the admission kit, there will be self adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the Bulletin front cover. For applying online, candidates should log on to ATMA www.atma-aims.org. The specimen online application form for ATMA with duly filled in data of a specimen candidate is enclosed in the Annexure II of the bulletin. Please read it carefully before filling in the online application form which is provided on the website. Please download a copy of the filled up online application for your reference.

ü       Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the Form.

Candidates are requested to down load their admit cards from the ATMA www.atma-aims.org. by entering the personal ID Code & Date of birth.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) [specialization in: Human Resource Management]

2 Years

Eligibility:

Honours Degree or its equivalent in any discipline/ Graduate in any professional course (Engineering, etc.), LLB (5 years) of a recognized University. Those who will be appearing in such examination within June 2011 may also apply.

Selection: Through COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT) of IIMs. IISWBM uses CAT for short listing the candidates. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme. To appear in CAT minimum 50% marks is required, in Bachelors.

How to Apply:

Application Form and Brochure: Available from September 06, 2010, from the Reception Counter of IISWBM on cash payment of Rs.1200/ - or against Bank Draft of Rs. 1300/- payable on any bank at Kolkata in favour of IISWBM. Application form may be downloaded from our website.

For admission to IISWBM, one has to apply to CAT and also apply separately to IISWBM for which Brochure and Application Farms are to be obtained from IISWBM.

Eligibility:

A Bachelor’s degree after (10+2) in any discipline from a recognized institution, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA {45% in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and DA (Differently Abled Categories)}.

For Honours graduates the aggregate will include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers.
Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.

Selection: Applicant shall have to appear CAT - 2010. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection. The sanctioned strength for the MBA Program is 62 and the reservation policy of Government of India meant for higher educational institutions is strictly adhered to.

Note: Our institute uses CAT score for short-listing candidates for our MBA program. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

 Eligibility:

A three-year (10+2+3) University Degree in any discipline, recognized by the AIU as eligible for Post Graduation, with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks. This applies to also those with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary. Candidates appearing for final year degree examination may also apply. However such candidates, if selected by TAPMI, are required to produce proof of completion of graduation by the time they join the PGDM Programmes and submit their mark-lists and other testimonials within the stipulated date.
