About College:

Nestled in Qutab Institutional Area, International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi was established in 1981 in collaboration with IMI Geneva (now IMD, Lausanne). IMI is India’s first corporate sponsored Business School with sponsorship from corporate houses like RPG Enterprises, Nestle, ITC, SAIL, Tata Chemicals, BOC and Williamson Magor etc. Over a period of time in the last 28 years the Institute has acquired a truly global status. The Institute received UNDP assistance for promoting internationally oriented management education. The candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE. The degrees of candidates from foreign universities must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Similarly, the PGDM of Indian Institutions must be recognized as equivalent to MBA by AIU or approved by AICTE.

A Masters’ degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks

OR

A Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average plus minimum of one year’s work experience.

OR

Any professional qualifications such as CA, CMA and CS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. CA/CMA/CS must also possess a graduation degree from a university recognized by AIU.

In addition, all the candidates must have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in all of their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics will be given due credit in the selection process.

Admission

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria are required to take Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs. Scores of CAT will be considered valid for admission to the session of 2016. Alternatively, the candidates could appear in GMAT or the test conducted by IMI for the programme. The recently qualified JRF/SRF candidates can also apply in the relevant areas of specialization but they would need to appear in the test conducted by IMI. Please note that all Indian candidates who do not have a CAT score will have to appear for either GMAT or IMI internal test (which will be held only at IMI, Delhi). NRIs and foreign candidates will also need to appear in the CAT/GMAT/or IMI internal test.

Based on the scores obtained in CAT/GMAT or IMI internal test, evalution of past academic performance and relevant work experience, candidates will be called for an interview for final selection.

About College:

The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as it is known today, came into being as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus.
In 1967, the Institute was renamed as "Institute of Armament Technology, (IAT)", which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune. From the relatively narrow scope of Armament Studies alone in the Fifties, the role of the Institute was considerably enlarged by the Defence R&D Council in 1964 and further in 1981.
On the basis of accreditation by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Pune University recognised eight courses for the award of ME degree in 1980. In the year 2000, the Institute acquired the status of a Deemed University. IAT has been renamed as DIAT w.e.f. 1st April 2006.

Admission Procedure

1.     MAH-MBA,MMS-CET 2016 shall be conducted only in the online mode in multiple sessions; if required, Competent Authority, using standardized equi-percentile method, will be equating scores across sessions

2.     Aspiring candidates should note that, the tests are not disclosed to anybody else other than the candidates only during the examination. The test papers are also not shared with anybody even after the exam

3.     The CET comprises multiple-choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical, Abstract Reasoning. In all, there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes)

4.     It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to Register & Confirm the Online Application Form for MAH-MBA, MMS-CET 2016 at website

5.     Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid at any Axis Bank Branches in cash through e-Challan as per schedule during the working hours of the respective Branches. The candidates can also do online payment of the fees by Internet Payment, Credit Card, Debit Card payment gateway for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. For Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates and NRI, Foreign Nationals, PIO, Children of India Works in the Gulf Countries Candidates Rs. 1000/-.
