The Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Sahitya Sammelan established a Sanskrit Vidyapeetha at Delhi on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dashmi on the 8th of October 1962 and appointed Dr.Mandan Mishra as the officer on-Special-Duty and the Director of the Vidyapeetha. In accordance with the decision of the Sammelan, a separate Society under the name of Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha was established with the late Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri as its Founder President. The inspiration and guidance of Late Shri Shastriji had been the impetus for the development of this Vidyapeetha. Eligibility:

Appearing for the ISBF Entrance Test (iMET)

iMET tests a candidate’s ability to reason logically and apply concepts and techniques learnt in Mathematics and English up to Class X (based on the syllabi of the major Indian Boards).

Candidates who perform well in the iMET will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI).

Appearing for the Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of iMET will be invited to appear for the final step of the admission process – the Personal Interview (PI).

In the PI, a candidate is tested for attitude, motivation, communication and academic curiosity. The candidate’s past record, academic as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular, forms the main basis of the PI discussion.

All PIs will take place in person, either at the ISBF Campus in New Delhi or at pre-declared centres across India.

Scholarships

There are three kinds of scholarships available for every candidate.

At the time of Admission:

ISBF Scholarship is available at the time of admission, i.e. for the first year of study and can continue for the second and third year, subject to the awardee maintaining a stipulated level of academic performance. It comprises a waiver of up to 50% of the ISBF Tuition fees. It is awarded on the basis of merit and need, measured by the candidate’s performance in the iMET and PI, as well as need.

The National School of Drama is one of the foremost theatre training institutions in the world and the only one of its kind in India. It was set up by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units in 1959. In 1975, it became an independent entity and was registered as an autonomous organization under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, fully financed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Training in the School is highly intensive and is based on a thorough, comprehensive, carefully planned syllabus which covers every aspect of theatre and in which theory is related to practice. As a part of their training, students are required to produce plays which are then performed before the public. The syllabus takes into account the methods of great theatre personalities who have shaped contemporary theatre in all its variety. The systematic study and practical performing experience of Sanskrit drama, modern Indian drama, traditional Indian theatre forms, Asian drama and western dramatic protocols give the students a solid grounding and a wide perspective in the art of theatre.

The candidates qualifying in this test will have to attend a workshop of 5 days in the School premises, New Delhi from 1st to 5th July, 2019, for their final selection for which they will be paid D.A. and 3 tier Sleeper class train / bus fare from the place of their residence to Delhi & back by the shortest route, on submission of ticket / cash receipt and will also be provided accommodation on modest sharing basis.

An Expert Committee constituted by the School will assess the aptitude and talent of the candidates & its decision will be final. Any CANVASSING in this regard will be treated as a disqualification. The school reserves the right to shortlist the number of candidates for audition/preliminary test on the basis of experience of the candidates in theatre arts.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: All selected students will be given a monthly scholarship of Rs. 8000/- p.m. to meet their academic and related expenses.

PHYSICAL FITNESS: The students selected for admission will be required to undergo a medical test for physical fitness at NSD Delhi. Their final selection is subject to clearance of the fitness test.

Towards meeting the growing demand of manpower in the field of technology, the then Delhi Administration, with the approval of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, established a new Engineering College by the name of Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT) in July, 1983. In the year 1983, the Institute started with the academic program at UG level in the area of Electronics & Communication Engineering with an intake of 45 Students under the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. New programs in the areas of Computer Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, and Manufacturing Processes & Automation Engineering were added subsequently. Administrative autonomy was granted to the institute in 1986. The Institute was registered as a Society in the name of “Delhi Institute of Technology” (DIT) on 12th June 1987 under the Societies Registration Act No. XXI of 1860 (Registration No. S-17742 of 1987). A candidate who has passed any graduate examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university/institution is eligible to apply. However, a relaxation of 10% in marks to SC/ST/PwD candidates shall be given in eligibility criteria. Those who are appearing in final semester examination may also apply, provided that they submit the proof of eligibility by a specific date declared by the University. The student should hold a degree from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. In case the conversion formula is not provided by the concerned Institute/University then equivalent percentage will be computed as per the NSUT guidelines.

The University may decide an appropriate cut-off percentile of CAT score to invite the candidates for GD & Personal Interview.

Note: At any stage of the programme, if it is found that the candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria, his/ her admission shall be cancelled.

The Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing is a pioneer institute for nursing education in India and South East Asian region offering basic and higher education programmes. It is controlled financially by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and academically affiliated to University of Delhi as Department of Nursing under faculty of science. The primary objective of the College is to provide and promote education and research in the field of nursing. The College was established in 1946 and initially B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing programme was formulated to train young women as professional nurses for meeting the health needs of the country. Applications are invited for admission to Master of Nursing Course 2 years Commencing form 20th July, 2019.

The candidate must have passed the B.Sc. (H) Nursing Examination (12+4) years of the University of Delhi or a degree recognized as equivalent there to with atleast 55% marks in the aggregate and completed one year experience in Nursing in a hospital/Specialty Institute/educational institution or public health agency. The experience will be calculated up to the 22nd March, 2019 the basis of selection for admission is given in the prospectus. Selection test will be held on 28th April, 2019 (Sunday) at 10.00 a.m.
