Eligibility:

I.          Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to Diploma in GNM course

a)     Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board/ university (five subjects as per CBSE policy). Candidates are also eligible from State Open College recognized by state government and National Institute of Open College (NIOS) recognized by Central government. Candidate must have passed in English from the concerned board/ university. Candidate must have scored 40% or more marks in best of three subjects (excluding English) from the list given below to be considered for calculation of % age.

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Computers Science /Informatics Practice/Word Processing/Multimedia, History, Geography, Civics, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Home Science. Or The candidate must have passed10+2 with English having 40% or more marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Or The candidate must have passed10+2 with English having 40% or more marks in Vocational Health Secondary Education (VHSE) Health stream from a recognized CBSE board / State / Centre. Or Registered ANM with pass mark

b)     Relaxation of 5% marks shall be granted to candidates belonging to SC/ST category. NOTE: Candidates who have appeared in 10+2 in the current year can apply but the candidate must be eligible on the day of counseling / admission.

II.       Age: Minimum and maximum age for admission shall be 17 and 30 years respectively as on 31.12.2018. (5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates) For ANM/LHV, there is no age bar.

III.     Only unmarried/ divorcee or widow without encumbrance female candidates need apply.

IV.     Candidate must be declared medically fit by the medical board of the G.T.B. Hospital.

V.        Candidate must be Indian citizen.

Procedure for Applying- Online Application

A candidate seeking admission to the three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course shall apply online on the prescribed application form along with fee of Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight hundred + gateway fee + GST) and upload requisite documents. The Online application will be uploaded during stipulated date & time.

Following Original Documents Are Required For Admission:

·         10th passing certificate & mark sheet issued by respective board / university.

·         10+2 passing certificate & Mark Sheet issued by respective board / university.

·         Character and conduct certificate from the Principal of last School / college attended or gazette officer.

·         Caste certificate from the competent authority in case of SC/ ST/OBC candidate. The certificate should be in the name of candidate seeking admission only. Certificate in the name of parents will not be considered.

·         Disability certificate issued from competent authority (candidate with disability of locomotors to the tune of 40-50% of lower extremity only)

·         Selected candidates must submit downloaded application form, original roll number/admission ticket along with all original certificates and two sets of photocopies and six photographs.

·         Those who has completed ANM course (10+2 vocational) (Revised after 2001) from College recognized by I. N. C. are eligible to apply and should furnish a copy of certificate from College principal regarding recognition of College by I. N. C.

·         Candidate who have appeared for 10 +2 Examination 2018 and candidates from Patrachar Vidhyalaya of Delhi, National Institute of Open College of Delhi must attach copy of admit card.

·         Candidate who have appeared for 10 +2 Examination 2018, have to submit copy of mark sheet and certificate within one week of releasing from College.

·         In order to qualify as an international candidate for the purpose of applying to IIFT entrance exam, a candidate should have been (expected to be) resident outside India for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December 2018 and be outside India during the IIFT examination window. The Indian nationals who are living, working, studying abroad should produce with application a certificate from the Indian Embassy / High Commission /Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December 2018.

·         Foreign Nationals need to have a valid passport/travel document from a country other than India. The Foreign Nationals who are present in India at the time of IIFT entrance test are required to take the same.

·         The candidate should produce Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score which should be received by the Institute latest by 15th February 2019. GMAT taken before 1st January 2017 is not valid.

·         If the candidate has appeared for any MBA entrance examination for that year in India (2018) such as CAT /XAT /IIFT, etc., he /she is not eligible to apply.

·         NRI-Sponsored candidates and Children of NRIs are not considered under this category.

Mode of Admission:

·         The admission of candidates under this category is on the basis of GMAT score and interview.

·         Shortlisted candidate would be required to undergo a Personal Interview at IIFT campus. Candidates called for this will have to make their own travel arrangements. In case they are not able to be physically present, they would be interviewed through Skype.

Candidates willing to apply for admission in various M.Tech. Courses must visit NSIT Admission website www.imsnsit.org. Online application process will start from July 31, 2018. Detailed admission schedule (tentative) is also available on website.

IMPORTANT: Separate Online Application Form is required for each course. If candidate is willing to apply for more than one course, he/ she is required to make multiple registrations and fill separate applications for each type of course in a division. For each registration made by candidate, separate registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- (non refundable) is required to be deposited by the candidate.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

A.     All candidates for admission to M.Tech. Programme must submit their applications online at the website.

B.      The selection of the Full-Time General/ SC/ ST/ PH M.Tech. Students shall be made on the basis of GATE Score only from amongst the candidates registered online for the admission, through screening committee and selection committee.

C.     The percentage in qualifying examination shall decide the merit (as on the date of application).

D.     In all such cases preference will be given to those who have completed the B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent degree course on the date of Online registration.

NOTES:

a.      A separate merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE Score only for General/ SC/ ST and Physically Challenged students. All admissions will be made in the order of merit.

Diploma in Yoga Science (DYSc) Duration: 1 year

Eligibility:

A candidate possessing Graduate degree (qualifying examination) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. However, it will be 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 30 years of age as on 01.08.2018 (10 years age relaxation for in-service candidate, who joins the course on deputation through proper channel).

Intake Capacity: The intake capacity is 120 (Gen: 60, OBC: 33, SC: 18, ST: 09). In addition to this, 12 special category seats for students from Andaman Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands (02), North-East States (02), J&K (01), War Martyrs (02), Sports/NCC/NSS (02), Foreign Student (02) and MDNIY Staff Quota (01). Reservation will be applicable as per Govt. of India Rules.

Medium of Instruction: Hindi / English

Selection: Selection will be on Merit-cum-Reservation on qualifying examination and subject to the Medical fitness.

Fellowship: A Fellowship of Rs. 8,000/- (Rs. Eight thousand) per month will be awarded to the following students: Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands– 2 students North - East States – 2 students. However, the candidature of the above students has to be recommended and forwarded by the Health /AYUSH Department of the concerned State/ UT. Award of scholarship/fellowship to such selected students is also subjected to their regularity, requisite attendance (min. 80%) and discipline. They have to execute a bond paper as per the prescribed format in this regard.

Cash Prize: A cash prize of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand Only) will be awarded to 12 (GM-6, OBC-3, SC-2 & ST-1) Indian meritorious students based on the outstanding performance in both semester examinations of the course.

Hostel Stipend: The Institute will provide a Hostel stipend of maximum Rs. 5,000/- (Rs. Five Thousand Only) per month or as per actual, whichever is less, for outstation student (other than from Delhi &7 Towns of NCR (Faridabad, Gurgaon, Sonipat, Jhajhar, Ghaziabad, Noida and Baghpat)) taking admission in ‘Diploma in Yoga Science for Graduates’ to the maximum 24 students in a batch. (Maximum 11 months)

About College:

The genesis of the National Archives of India may be traced back to the year 1860 when Sandeman, the Civil Auditor, in his report stressed the need of relieving the offices of congestion by destruction of the papers of routine nature and transfer of all valuable records to a ‘Grand Central Archive’. However, things took a concrete shape in 1889, when Professor G.W. Forrest of Elphinstone College, Bombay was entrusted the job of examining the records of the Foreign Department of the Government of India. Earlier, he had earned reputation as an Archivist for his work in the Bombay Records Office. In his report, he made a strong plea for transferring all records of the administration of East India Company to a Central Repository. As a result, Imperial Records Department (IRD) came into existence on 11 March 1891 which was located in Imperial Secretariat Building at Calcutta (Kolkata). Professor G.W Forrest was made its Officer in Charge. His main task was to examine, transfer, arrange and catalogue records of all the Departments and to organise a Central Library in place of various Departmental Libraries. After G.W. Forrest, the work at Imperial Records Department (IRD) progressed well under S.C. Hill (1900), C.R. Wilson (1902), N.L. Hallward (1904), E. Denison Ross (1905), A.F. Scholfield (1915), R.A. Blaker (1919), J.M. Mitra (1920) and Rai Bahadur A.F.M. Abdul Ali (1922-1938) who were scholars as well as Records Keepers in their own right.

Diploma Course in Archives and Records Management (DARM) Duration: 1 Year

Eligibility:

·         M.A (History) second class with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with one optional paper in Modern Indian History (Post 1750 period.) from a recognized university. Or

·         M.A. in other streams of Social Sciences i.e. Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Linguistics, etc. with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University. Or

·         M.Sc. in Applied/ Physical Sciences with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.

·         Out of total 30 seats, 10 seats are reserved for Master Degree in History and 10 seats for other streams, i.e. M.A. in Social Sciences, M.Sc in Applied/ Physical Sciences etc. and 10 seats are reserved for sponsored candidates

Age: Below 30 years for private candidates and below 50 years for sponsored candidates

Selection: For 20 seats meant for Private Candidates, admission would be made through a written test followed by an interview. Admission is made purely on merit basis. For sponsored candidate there is no entrance test and they are admitted purely on the basis of sponsorship of the employer/ department and recommendation of the Selection Committee.

Scholarship: Ten scholarships of the value of Rs.1500/- p.m. are awarded purely on the basis of merit. Six Stipends of Rs.1000/- p.m. are awarded to sponsored candidates.
