Eligibility for Admission

The candidate should have passed MD, MS, DNB qualification from the Medical college, Institutions recognized by MCI are eligible to apply. In case, the candidate is waiting for the results, unable to upload the pass certificate, he, she shall mention “WFR” (Waiting for results) in the application and has to submit the pass certificate compulsorily on the day of counseling, failing which he, she will not be allowed for counseling.

Note The confirmation of the admission is subject to the outcome of any litigation pending before any court of law in the Republic of India.

Pattern of Examination

The computer based entrance test shall be conducted by Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati.

Each subject will have a separate question paper consists of 100 MCQs in the specialty concerned.

The duration of the exam is 90 minutes

All the questions will be of one best, correct response type having four alternatives.

Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark.

There is no negative mark for incorrect response.

Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered.

Candidates indulging in malpractice during the entrance test will be disqualified. The malpractice information will be forwarded to Medical Council of India for necessary action in addition to the action taken by the institution.

The candidates appearing for entrance test will not be paid any dearness, traveling allowance.

The question paper and provisional answer key will be released and placed in the institute as notified in the Admission Calendar.

The objections (if any) on the key will be received through e-mail and date notified in the Admission Calendar.

The final key and Merit list will be displayed in the official website of the institute on the date notified in the Admission Calendar.

How to Apply for SVIMSET Entrance Exam 2015

Candidate seeking admission to Entrance Examination is required to Apply Online through website 

Log on to website and navigate to link “Apply On-line SVIMSPGSSET-2015”.

The candidate should read the “Prospectus” carefully and fulfill all the requirements for filling the application through online.

“Apply On-line” and read “Instructions” given on the screen. Then click “Register” for opening Basic Registration Page.

The candidate shall register with his, her name, mobile number (10 digits only),a valid e-mail id and date of birth.

The system will generate an application number and password. The same will be sent to the applicant’s email id mentioned at the registration screen as well as an SMS to their registered mobile number. The candidate can log on to the application using the application id and password (date of birth).

Application Fee The application fee of Rs. 2500/- to be paid through Credit, Debit card, online transfer. No other mode of payment will be accepted at any cost. All Banking charges for transaction will have to be borne by the candidate.

For successful transaction of the fees, don’t close the web page or press any key on keyboard, mouse, until the web page displays “Transaction is successful” message. If your internet connection is slow or browser is closed due to any reason while making payment, re-login and verify the payment status before making payment again.

If payment is deducted and “transaction is successful” message not received even after 36 hours, you may contact the academic section, SVIMS through. No reply will be given over phone

If application is completed in all aspects then only click “SUBMIT”

Take a print out of the “application abstract” for future reference.

Admit Card (E-Hall Ticket)

Admit Card for the Computer based Entrance test shall be available for download to the eligible candidates, whose applications are complete and accurate in all aspects from the date notified in the Admission Calendar. The Admit card will contain Application Number, Name, and Photo, Signature date, time and Venue of the Entrance test.

For any queries, the candidate should contact through Email. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Test unless he ,she holds the Admit card duly attested by a Gazetted officer with seal and one of the original photo ID (PAN card, Driving Licence, Aadhar card, Passport, Voter id, any govt. issued ID Proof) to the test center.

Entrance Test Centre for SVIMSET  

The Computer based Entrance Test will be held in Tirupati only. The institute reserves the right to allot the venue which will be final and binding.

He, She has passed qualifying examination as under:

a.     The Higher Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam after a period of 12 years study,  the last two years of study comprising of Physics,  Chemistry & Biology after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years education structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education; (or)

b.     The intermediate exam in Science of an Indian University, Board or other recognized examining body with Physics,  Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject; (or)

c.      The Pre-professional, pre-medical exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology,  after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the pre-university or an equivalent exam; the pre-professional, premedical examination shall include a practical test in Physics,  Chemistry and Biology and English as compulsory subject; (or)

d.     The first year of the three year degree course of a recognized university with Physics,  Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the exam is a University Examination and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course; (or)

e.     B.Sc exam of an Indian University,  provided that he, she has passed the B.Sc exam with not less than two of the following subjects-Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he, she has passed the earlier qualifying exam with the following subjects: Physics,  Chemistry and Biology and English; (or)

f.       Any other exam which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate Science exam of an Indian University, Board, taking Physics,  Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English

Age Limit:

Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years, on or before 31st December 2015 of the corresponding year

Paper Pattern for AIET 2015:

Eligibility:

-        A candidate who has passed final MBBS / BDS Examination from a recognized Medical/ Dental College included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Act 1956/ Dentist Act, 1993 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India or Maharashtra Medical/ Dental Council or State Medical/ Dental Council after completing one-year compulsory rotating internship will be eligible to appear for APGM/APGD-CET 2015.

-        The full/ permanent MCI/MMC/DCI/MDC registration is a condition precedent for appearing at APGM/APGD CET and its proof including submission of application for registration should be enclosed.

-        A candidate who has completed one year compulsory Internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2015 can appear for APGM/APGD-CET 2015.

-        Candidates likely to complete their internship on or before 31/03/2015 should submit documentary proof from their Principals/Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of Internship. Candidate will be fully responsible for submitting correct information in the Application Form.

-        Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing / completed the course are not eligible for appearing at APGM/APGD-CET 2015. Candidates who have completed PG Diploma is eligible to appear for the APGM CET-2015 for admission to PG Degree in the same subject only.

-        Candidate should preserve the printout of Application Form for his/her personal records and for subsequent use.

Eligibility:

The JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) will conduct the EAMCET 2015 examination on the behalf of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State Council of Technical Education. The EAMCET 2015 application form has been available online on the official website from 28th February 2015. The aspirants may fill the form only via online mode. No other mode of application will be acceptable except online. First, the aspirants shall have to register for application form then they will be eligible to fill the form via online mode. After the completion of application form filling process, one need to go for submission of the application form fee also via online through debit card/ credit card/ Mee Seva online centre/ AP online centre. Examination Pattern

The AP EAMCET 2015 examination will be held on the 10th May 2015 and the TS EAMCET 2015 examination will be held on the 14th May 2015 in two shifts as 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. the exam will be comprised in two papers, as one for engineering aspirants and other for agriculture and medical aspirants. Both papers will be asked separately in 160 objective type questions of 3 hours duration. There is no clause for negative marking. Each correct answer will be rewarded with one mark.
