Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is India’s first Public Health University. The Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is working towards building a healthier India. Osmania University is named after its founder, Nawab Osman Ali Khan, the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad who rather through a farman or Royal Charter, brought the University into existence in 1918. Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2020 are eligible to apply. SCB Channel

·         Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for IAT 2020.

·         Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country.

An Act of Parliament in 1956 established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as an autonomous institution of national importance and defined its objectives and functions. By virtue of this Act, the Institute awards its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions. Eligibility:

B.Sc. (H) Nursing:

Candidates who have Passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized University/Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and has a minimum aggregate marks required in qualifying examination i.e.10+2 or equivalent is 55% for Gen/EWS/OBC and 50% in case of SCs/STs categories

B.Sc. (Paramedical Courses):

Candidate who have Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics with 50% for Gen/ EWS/OBC and 45% in case of SCs/ STs Categories

B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic):

The candidate who have:

(i)           Passed 12th class under 10+2 system of education or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University (Those who have passed 10+1 on or before 1986 are also eligible).(For BSc Nursing Post-Basic)

(ii)          Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from any institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. (For BSc Nursing Post-Basic)

(iii)         Registration as nurse, RN, RM (registered nurse, registered midwife) with any State Nursing Council (For BSc Nursing Post-Basic)

(iv)         In case of male nurses, (if passed before implementation of new integrated course in 2003), beside being registered as a nurse with the State Nursing Council, should have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and instead of Training in Midwifery, training in any subject out of following, for a period of six months: i) O.T. Techniques, ii) Ophthalmic Nursing, iii) Leprosy Nursing, iv) TB Nursing, v) Psychiatric Nursing, vi) Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing, vii) Community Health Nursing, viii) Cancer Nursing, ix) Orthopaedic Nursing (For BSc Nursing Post-Basic)

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility for Ph. D course (Open candidates)

A candidate seeking admission to the course of study leading to the award of a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy must possess at least one of the following qualifications:

1.    (a) Medical qualification: MBBS/BDS with minimum 55% aggregate marks or MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch in the subject concerned or Diplomate of National Board of Examination. Candidates who have obtained any of these degrees from medical colleges which are not recognized by the Medical Council of India shall not be eligible to apply.

(b) Nursing Qualification: Candidates holding M.Sc. degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Nursing Speciality will also be eligible for Ph. D admission in College of Nursing.

2.    Non-Medical – For non-medical candidate’s eligibility shall be Master’s Degree (two years course) awarded by Indian Universities or equivalent in the subject as per requirement of the project. Candidates holding M.Sc. (Other than M.Sc. Nursing) M.Tech. degree & BAMS will be eligible for the Non-Medical Qualification Category.

Candidate possessing Masters Degree through distant learning course shall not be eligible.

While seeking project details from the department, desired qualification of Masters Degree to be suitable for project work should be mentioned by the respective department. The same will be displayed along with Number of Seats & Department.

Candidate having eligibility under non-medical category should have at least 60% marks in the last eligibility examination qualified.

The Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi is a Government of India institution and only of its nature in eastern India. The British established this hospital on 17th May 1918 with the name of Ranchi European Lunatic Asylum. It had then a capacity of 174 patients (92 male and 82 female). It catered to the needs of the European mental patients only and it was under the direct control and management of Government of Bihar. Note:
