About College:

BLDE University is amongst the reputed universities in Karnataka providing education in various medical courses. Housed in a sprawling campus at Bijapur in Karnataka, it was declared a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and approved by Ministry of Human Resource Development. Exam Pattern:

BLDE UGET 2016 will be a 3 hour exam consisting of 180 questions with each question carrying 1 mark. 60 questions each will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology There will be no Negative marking for a wrong response.

BLDE UGET 2016 will be based on the standard 1st and 2nd PUC syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), New Delhi was established in 1914. The college and hospital was formally opened by Lord Hardinge the then viceroy of India on in 1916. Since 1950, the college has been affiliated to University of Delhi. In view of considerable demand for post-graduate students, post-graduate courses were started in 1954 in affiliation with Punjab University and later on with University of Delhi in 1956. About College:

Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped is an autonomous organization under the administrative and financial control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. The Institute for the Physically Handicapped came into being when the erstwhile Jawahar Lal Nehru Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and other allied institution run by the council for the Aid of crippled & handicapped were taken over by the Government of India on 22nd May 1975 and converted into an autonomous body in the year 1976. It was renamed after Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya in the year 2002.

The Institute aims to serve the physically disabled of all age groups. In this pursuit of alleviating the suffering of disabled people, the Institute runs following programmes:-

Ø        Bachelor of Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics, 4 ½ years duration course in affiliation withUniversity of Delhi.

Ø        Out patient clinical services in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

Ø        Workshop for the fabrication of Orthotic and Prosthetic appliances including calipers, splints, artificial limbs, surgical boots and customized wooden furniture for the persons with different types of locomotor impairments.

All the three colleges- DPMC&H, DCAST, DCET and DVCE, which are rapidly developing and progressing byleaps and bounds, are the offshoots of Ch. Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society and Maharani Laxmi Bai Memorial Educational Society which are already providing its expertise for more than 20 years in preparing the students professionally. The trust- Ch. Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society is also running two ITI's i.e., Ch. Charan Singh Memorial ITI, Dehra Dun and Doon Public ITI, Dehradun.
