For MBA (Pharmaceutical Management): The candidates must be the Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply

Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are not eligible to apply

For all the full time programs, candidates who are appearing for the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply (Provisional admission is subject to clearing the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks) and selected candidates must produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time

For all the Full Time programs, candidates having two and more years of post qualification work experience will be preferred

At the time of admission, the candidate should have cleared all the trimesters/ semesters of the Program. No exam of any previous Semester/ Trimester to the final Semester/ Trimester examination be held subsequent to the final Semester/ Trimester Exam. No result of any previous Semester/ Trimester examination to the final Semester/ Trimester examination be declared subsequent to the declaration of the result or the final Semester/ Trimester Exam

Those candidates who have passed, or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA/ CGPA obtained

It is sole responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for the admission at NMIMS

NMAT 2018 Exam Pattern & Structure

NMAT by GMACTM would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type questions). The NMAT by GMACTM will comprise the following:

i) Language Skills - 32 (No of Questions); Allotted Time 22 minutes

ii) Quantitative Skills - 48 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 60 Minutes

iii) Logical Reasoning - 40 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 38 Minutes

Total Questions: 120 and; Duration: 120

The candidate should note that it is important for them to perform well relative to other candidates in each of the 3 sections of the test as the score of each section and the overall score will be used to shortlist the candidate for the second stage of the selection process as well as in the final ranking

Please note that there will be no negative marking

Please note that if the candidate is not satisfied by his/her NMAT by GMACTM score in the first attempt he/she may appear for the test by going through the full process as a fresh MNMAT by GMACTM test by visiting NMAT.org.in and NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University) website both mandatorily & logging in with the allotted username and password

The scores of all the attempts taken by the candidate will be declared on www.nmat.org.in and the shortlisting for the next round of NMIMS admission process (CD/ PI) as per the preference of the program will be declared on www.nmims.edu website

Selection Process (CD & PI)

The selection will be made by the merit of candidates’ as per their score in the examination. The result for NMAT by GMAC™ test will be declared on the website www.nmat.org.in. Shortlisted candidates are required to download the call letter from www.nmims.edu website. the shortlisted candidates also need to bring his/her call letter for CD/PI process

Case Discussion & Personal Interview of shortlisted candidates will be conducted in Mumbai, Bengaluru/Hyderabad (if required) for CD/PI the candidates have to carry their NMAT by GMACTM admit card

Step 1: Visit www.nmat.org into register online and complete registration process by paying registration fee. Please remember your NMAT by GMAC registration number. It is mandatory to complete the NMAT by GMAC test registration before proceeding for the NMIMS application

DNB Final Examination - December 2017 (DNB Final) 

National Board of Examinations invites applications for Diplomate of National Board Final Examination for DNB-Final-December 2017 (Super Specialities) for admission to 3 years Post Doctoral (DNB/ DM/ M.Ch) Super Specialities Programmes. 

National Broad of Examinations (NBE) shall conduct the DNB Final Examination from 08th to 10th December 2017 in various Broad and Super Specialties 
NBE at present conducts Postgraduate & Post doctoral Exams in approved specialties leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board 

DNB - Super Specialty Courses 

List of DNB Specialties in which Final Exams shall be conducted in December 2017 - Cardiology, Gasteroenterology, Genito Urinary Surgery, Nephrology, Neuro surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Paediatric Surgery and Plastic Surgery 

About 

NBE at present conducts Postgraduate & Postdoctoral Exams in approved specialties leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board. The MCI has laid down standards for postgraduate exams conducted by various medical colleges and affiliated to concerned universities and other institutions, yet the levels of proficiency and standards of evaluation vary considerably in these institutions 

The Exams conducted by NBE provide a common standard and mechanism of evaluation of minimum level of attainment of the knowledge and competencies of medical specialties 

Eligibility 

a) DNB Candidates: Candidates who have undergone training as a DNB trainee at any National Board of Examinations accredited Institute/ Medical College / Hospital after having registered with NBE as a DNB trainee and are completing their 3 years of training as DNB trainee as per the following schedule: 
Cut off date for completion of DNB training 30th June 2018 

b) DM/M.Ch. Candidates who have passed the final exam leading to the award of Post Doctoral Degree from Indian Universities, which are duly recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and DM/ M.Ch Degree has been awarded on or before 30th September 2017 can apply for the DNB Final Exam in same Specialty; and 

The duration of DM/MCh training should be 3 years 

c) Final Exam (Direct 6 years Courses): Candidates who joined DNB Course in Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery or Neuro Surgery (Direct 6 years Courses) and have successfully qualified Part-I Exam as direct 6 years candidates can take Part- II (Final) Exam on completion of 5 years of DNB training subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria 

D) Part-II (Final) Exam is common for candidates of 3 years and direct 6 years DNB courses in the respective super specialties. Direct 6 years candidates appearing in DNB final exam shall be exempted from question Paper–I; they will be required to attempt question paper II & III only. Post DNB (3years) and DM/MCh candidates will have to attempt all the three question papers 

Exam Pattern 

For Super Specialties: 

The DNB Final is a Two-Stage Exam Comprising of Theory & Practical Exam; an eligible candidate who has qualified the theory exam is permitted to appear in the practical exam 

This second attempt shall be permitted out of the next 2 sessions of practical exam placed along with the next two successive theory exam sessions. Abstention from Practical Exam is counted as an attempt

DNB Final Exam 

a) Theory Exam 

Maximum Marks: 300; the theory exam comprises of three question papers; there are 10 short notes of 10 marks each in the question paper 

The number of short notes and their respective marks weightage may vary in some subjects/some papers; maximum time permitted is 3 hours for each question paper; candidate must score at least 50% of maximum marks to qualify the theory exam i.e. candidate scoring 150 or more marks out of 300 shall be declared ‘pass’ in theory exam 

Candidate must score at least 50% in the aggregate of 3 papers to qualify the theory exam; Grace marks of up to 2% of maximum marks i.e. 6/ 300 shall be given only to the candidates falling in the zone of consideration i.e. securing between 144-149 marks out of 300 

b) Practical Exam 
Maximum Marks:
300; comprises of Clinical Exam and Viva; candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the Clinical Exam (including Viva) to qualify for the Practical Exam 

There are no grace marks in Practical Exam. A maximum of two attempts that can be availed by candidates for Practical Exam 

Declaration of DNB Final Results 

a. DNB final is a qualifying exam 

b. Results of DNB final exams (theory & practical) are declared as PASS/ FAIL 

c. The details of marks obtained/grading in final theory/ practical Exams will be provided to unsuccessful candidates. Procedure for obtaining question wise marks can be seen at NBE website 

Centres for FINAL - Exam 

The tentative/ proposed list of various theory Centers is Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Chennai, Trivandrum, Pune, Chandigarh and Varanasi 

Enrollment Fees & Award of DNB Certificates 

All successful candidates have to pay enrolment fees of Rs.2500/- (Two Thousand Five Hundred Only), towards enrolment as a Diplomate of National Board of Examinations 

The fees is to be deposited by cash at any branch of Indian Bank (website www.indianbank.in) or Axis Bank (website axisbank.com) using specialised pay-in available at NBE websitewww.natboard.edu.in NBE copy of pay-in-slip is required to be submitted in original to NBE

Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has released the online application form for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2017 

Applicants who wish to apply for OTET then send online application form. The selected applicants will be appointed as Primary School Teacher. Candidates can submit Odisha TET Application Form between 23rd August 2017 to 06th September 2017. 

Eligibility 

The following conditions of eligibility have been laid down by the Government of Odisha, Department of School and Mass Education vide the Resolution No.14302/SME, Bhubaneswar, dated the 04/06/12 

(I) Persons having the following minimum qualifications shall be eligible for appearing in OTET 

(a) Category-A (Paper-I) Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT) OR Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 2-year Diploma in Special Education 

(b) Category-B (Paper- II) Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) OR Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc Ed. Provided that relaxation of 5% minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level, as the case may be, shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC, ST,OBC/ SEBC category 

Provided further that candidates having minimum marks in +2 or graduation level, as the case may be, prescribed at the time of admission in teacher education courses shall also eligible to appear in OTET 

(II) Persons who are pursuing (final year) any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or by the RCI, as the case may be) specified above in both the categories 

(III) Persons declared eligible by the State Govt./ NCTE/ Govt. of India from time to time 

Untrained Candidates 

(a) As per Govt. of Odisha, School and Mass Education Department Letter No.23860/SME dated 21/10/2013, the untrained candidates, belonging to SC/ST & PH Category having required percentage of marks (5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks in +2 or Graduation Level as the case may be, for the candidates belonging to SC & ST categories) shall be eligible 

(b) As per ADDENDUM No.SME-EL2-EL2-0060-2015 1646/ SME dt.21/01/2016 of the Govt.  of Odisha, School and Mass Education Dept., the following guide lines shall be added to the Para-4 of the Resolution issued from the Govt., Dept. of School and Mass Education Vide No.14302/SME dtd-04/06/2012 regarding eligibility of minimum qualification for appearing OTET Exam 

Exam Test Details 

Detail instruction for online exam can be gone through by downloading the same which is attached at the student log in page; after signing in "My Exams" page will be displayed 

There are two sections under the field Action. One is View Detail and the other is "Attempt Now". Clicking the “View Detail” button, some of the important information regarding the examination shall be displayed 

Now the questions will be displayed section after section. The total time allowed from opening of the link shall be one and half an hour. Display of questions and question related information will automatically stop at 12.30 pm 

The questions shall be displayed starting from question no.-1. The number of questions in different sections will be as follows: 

a) Section-I - 30 questions 

b) Section-II - 20 questions 

c) Section-III - 2 questions 

Questions of Section-I & II will be multiple choice type and that of Section-III will be essay type 

Questions displayed may be attempted by clicking one of the four circles or can be skipped by clicking next button displayed below the question; two essay type questions under section-III shall be answered in a A4 paper writing the Roll No. on the top 

How to Apply for OTET 2017/application procedure 

The Information Brochure and Online Application Form is available in the website www.bseodisha.ac.in. Syllabus of the entrance examination is available in the website as well as in the Information Brochure. 

Application Fee is Rs.500/- to be paid through SBI Collect Portal 

Online link will be available (24x7) from 23rd August 2017, 08.00 am to 06th September 2017, 11.45 pm; the payment of fee shall be done through SBI Collect either in online or offline mode latest by 11.45 pm of 06th September 2017 

However filling up of forms through online can be carried out till 07th September 2017 midnight 

Admit Card 

The candidates can download their Admit Cards from the website www.bseodisha.ac.in by entering their Registration Number and Email ID from 12th September 2017; the change of examination centre is not permissible; the hard copy of the admit cards shall be issued by the B.S.E Odisha

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme of IGNOU aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage

Duration

The minimum duration of the programme is two years. However, the maximum period allowed for completion of the programme will be five years.

Medium of Instruction

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme is offered in English and Hindi medium

IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have possessed following eligibility criteria defined by IGNOU for B.Ed. Program:

Candidates with at least fifty (55) percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or

Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme (and);

The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed. (ODL):

(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education (Or);

(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode

The reservation and relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates as per the rules of the Central Govt.

IGNOU BEd Entrance Test 2017 Admission Procedure

Admission shall be done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India. The candidate will be required to submit the filled-in application form with attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form. The original documents are to be submitted later after receiving offer letter for admission

No change of category code shall be entertained from the candidate after the submission of Entrance cum Admission Form

Entrance Test for IGNOU B.Ed. Admission 2018

The Entrance Test will be held on the date mentioned in the Advertisement Hall Tickets will uploaded on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in for appearing in the Entrance Test.

Mere allowing candidates to take Entrance Test would not amount to acceptance of their eligibility for admission to B.Ed.

The final admission to the program shall be subject to their rank in the merit list in the Entrance Test and production of proof of their eligibility at the time of last date of submission of application for admission to B.Ed. programme alongwith original certificates and programme fee

The number of seats of each PSC is limited to 50 only. The university reserves the right to conduct the examination at different centres/change the examination centre of the candidates without assigning any reason thereof

Program Fee

Program Fee is Rs. 50,000/- for the entire Program. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed. programme are advised not to pay the fee along with the filled in application form. They will get a separate communication about their admission and payment of Fee

The University provides reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Non-creamy layer of OBC, War Widows, Kashmiri Migrants and Physically Handicapped learners, as per the Government of India rules, for admission to its various programmes

We will update the exact date of IGNOU B.Ed. entrance test 2018 only after the release of its official notification. Candidates can obtain their admit card online via visiting the official website of university

UGC NET 2017 November will be conducted by CBSE on 05th November, 2017

UGC NET Exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the National Eligibility Test (CBSE NET) on behalf of the University Grants Commission. The UGC NET is conducting for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor, in Indian universities and colleges.

UGC NET Eligibility Criteria

i) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC (list attached page No. 22 to 48) in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. (list of subjects of post graduation attached at page No. 19 to 20) are eligible for this Test

The OBC belonging to non-creamy layer/SC/ST/PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test

ii) Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test

However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of Junior Research Fellowship/eligibility for Assistant professor only after they have passed their Master’s Degree Exam OR equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC (Non- creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD (persons with disability) category candidates

Such candidates must complete their PG Degree Exam within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified

iii) The PhD degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET

iv) Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post graduation only. The candidates, whose post graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects in item No.14 (on page 12-13), may appear in a related subject

v) Candidates are neither required to send any certificates/documents in support of their eligibility nor printout of their Application Form (Confirmation Page) to CBSE. However, the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test. In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the UGC/CBSE at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action

vi) Candidates having post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/ Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the foreign University/institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master’s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi

Age Limit & Relaxation

i) Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on June 2017. A relaxation up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC (Non- creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website www.ncbc.nic.in) SC/ST/PWD categories and to women applicants 

Relaxation will also be provided to the candidates having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority

3-years relaxation in age will be permissible to the candidates possessing LLM Degree. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances 

ii) Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor

Exemption (Eligibility for Assistant Professor)

NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a PhD degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SELT/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions

Candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR JRF Exam prior to 1989 are also exempted from appearing in NET 

For SET Candidates: The candidates who have cleared the States Eligibility Test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for Assistant Professor held prior to 01st June 2002, are exempted from appearing in NET, being eligible

For SET held from 01st June 2002 onwards, the qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only in the universities/colleges situated in the state from where they have cleared their SET

*The candidates with Master's Degree in Geography (with specialization in Population Studies) or Mathematics/Statistics are also eligible to appear in the subject "Population Studies" (Code 15)

**The candidates with Master's Degree in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences are eligible to appear in the subject 'Women Studies' (Code 74)

Junior Research Fellowship / Eligibility for Lectureships

On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) in November 2017 for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and in Colleges. CBSE will conduct NET in 84 subjects at 90 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country.

The Universities, Institutions, IITs and other National Organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them

The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET

Junior Research Fellowship

Candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will be eligible to receive fellowship of UGC under various schemes, subject to their finding placement in universities/IITs/institutions

The validity period of the offer is two years w.e.f. the date of issue of JRF Award Letter. However, in case the candidates who have already joined MPhil/PhD, the date of commencement of fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of NET result or date of their joining, whichever is later

 

How to Apply:

UGC Net 2017 Application Form

Candidate seeking admission to the Test (UGC-NET 2017 November) must apply online only on the CBSE website www.cbsenet.nic.in

Before applying Online, the candidates must possess the scanned images as below:

i) Passport size photograph in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 40 kb. The dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height)

ii) Signature in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 30 kb; the dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height)

iii) After filling all the details for applying online for NET the candidates have to select the option of payment of examination fee either by credit/debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form indicating your details therein and follow the process as mentioned under 6 (ii & iii) on page 6

iv) The candidates are required to bring a photo identity card along with their printout of online admission card on the day of examination.

v) Before applying online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification available on CBSE website www.cbsenet.nic.in Please note that Fee submitted through any other mode like Money Order, Demand Draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected

vi) In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. CBSE will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature in submission of online application during last days

The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility as given at item no. 3 carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the Test before filling the online application Form

Exam Fee and Mode of Payment

For General candidates, the examination fee is Rs.600/-; for Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website www.ncbc.nic.in, the fee is Rs.300/- and for SC/ST/PWD candidates, it is Rs.150/-

i) The candidates may pay the exam fee either by credit/debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form. In case of e-challan the payment should be made in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank

In case the exam fee is paid through credit/debit card, the additional processing charges as following will also be debited from the credit/debit card of the candidate. The fee can be remitted in the following ways:

Ö        Through e-Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank, ICICI, HDFC and Canara Bank

By Debit/Credit Card:

ii) After filling all the details for applying online for NET, the candidate will have the option to select the mode of payment of exam fee either by credit/debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form indicating your details therein

iii) The candidate is required to check the status of fee payment at CBSE website (www.cbsenet.nic.in) and if the status is ‘Ok’ the candidate will be able to take the printout of online Application Form (one copy), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) on separate A-4 size papers. In case, the fee payment status is not ‘OK’ the candidate are advised as following:

Ö        If the fee is paid through e-challan by depositing cash in the above mentioned bank, the candidate should contact immediately the concerned bank to update his/her fee status on the website

Ö        If the fee is paid through credit/debit card and status is not ‘OK’, it means the transaction is cancelled and the amount will be refunded to concerned credit/debit card within a week. Such candidates have to pay the fee once again

Scheme and Exam Schedule

The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on November 19, 2017  (Sunday) 05th November, 2017 (Sunday) in all three separate session as under:

First (Paper-I): 100 Marks (60 out of which 50 questions to be attempted) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (09.30 am to 10.45 am, IST)]

Second (Paper-II): 100 Marks (50 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 1¼ Hours (11.15 am to 12.30 pm, IST)]

Third (Paper-III): 150 Marks (75 questions all are compulsory) [Duration: 2½ Hours (02.00 pm to 04.30 pm, IST)]

All the questions of Paper-II and Paper-III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options)
The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet

Introduction 

Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (Herein after called the Act) 

According to Govt. Resolution No.CET-2016/F.No.84/MSHI-2, 7th April 2016 the Competent Authority shall conduct the MAH-B.Ed. CET 2017 for the admission to the First Year of the Two Year Full Time Professional Course in Education leading to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. Regular) and B.Ed.-Special Education - Hearing Impairment, B Ed Special Education - Autism Spectrum Disorder, B Ed Special Education – Learning Disability, B Ed Special Education - Intellectual Disability/Mental Retardation B.Ed.

Special Education-Visually Impaired for  the Academic year 2017-18 

The admissions to the following institutes will be based on the score of CET, provided they are approved and recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and are affiliated to any of the Non-Agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State: 
1. All Govt. Colleges offering B.Ed. Course

The Eligibility conditions for Maharashtra BEd CET 2017 is given below 

Maharashtra State Candidates: (i) Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects Sciences/Mathematics/Social Sciences (History/Geography/Economics/Political Sciences/ Psychology/ Philosophy/ Education/Library Science)/Humanity Sciences (including all Languages and Literatures like-English, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Pali-Prakrut etc. studied as Optional/Special Subject at Graduation)/Commerce and have secured minimum 50% marks for Open Category Candidates either in Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree (49.50% and above to be considered as 50%)(Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class Categories from State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ-DT NT-(A), NT1-(B), NT-2-(C), NT-3-(D), OBC, and SBC (44.50% and above to be considered as 45%) either in Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree 

(Or); 
(ii) The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects in Engineering or Technology/ (Science and Mathematics as a Special subjects) / Bachelor’s Degree and or Master’s Degree with the subjects Management / Engineering/Computers/Law/Information -Technology / Agriculture/ BBI / Medical Sciences /All Social Sciences excluding those (i) above /Fine Art / Performing Art (Music/Dance / Drama etc.) and secured minimum 55% marks (54.50 % and above to be considered as 55%) either in Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree (Minimum 50% marks in case of Backward Class Category candidates belonging to State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ-DT NT-(A), NT1-(B), NT-2-(C), NT-3-(D), OBC, and SBC. Candidate should be appeared for the Final year exam of any Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India/NCTE. Such candidate can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the degree exam with minimum 55% of marks 

MAH BEd CET 2017 Application Procedure 

Procedure for Online Application Form Filling and Registration MAH-B.Ed. CET2017 in order to appear for MAH-B.Ed. CET2017, the Candidates are required to apply On-Line as per the detailed procedure/guidelines given below 

Candidates interested should download the Information Brochure, read it carefully and fill in the On Line application as per the directions given in the relevant Information Brochure 

Candidates desirous of seeking admission to English Medium Colleges of Education should invariably apply for ELCT Examination while filling in the CET Form 

Candidates are advised to download the Information Brochure from www.mahacet.org andwww.dhepune.gov.in take a print -out /read it carefully and then fill in the On Line Application Form from the given link 

Candidates are advised to Scan their own photograph and signature as per the specification and keep it ready with them on the computer to fill in form. Candidates are advised to keep their Educational records such as Year of passing marks obtained etc. of all qualifications handy before beginning to fill in the Form 

Candidates are further advised to first save the form, read it carefully before finally submitting it on line. If the Form is Finally submitted, then no change in the Form is possible. Candidates are directed to take a print out of the On Line Finally submitted and approved 

Application Form and safely keep it with them. This Application form is essential document for Admission 

Candidates are directed to take a print of the e-receipt of the payment made on line and preserve it with them. It will be required at the time admission 

Candidates are further advised to preserve their Original CET Hall Ticket with them after the CET is over; the same will be required for Admission

MAH BEd CET 2017 Syllabus and Marking Scheme 

The On Line CET is comprising of one paper with three sections: 

1. Mental Ability - 40 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 40 Total Marks 

2. General Knowledge - 30 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 30 Total Marks 

3. Teacher Aptitude - 30 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 30 Total Marks 

Total - 100 No. of Questions; 1 per Question; and 100 Total Marks 

The questions will be objective Multiple Choice Questions with Four options 

There is no Negative Marking 
The time allotted is One Hour Thirty Minutes 
Medium of Test will be English and Marathi 

Contents of the Sections: 

Mental Ability (40%): The content of this test aims to judge your reasoning power It also helps to judge how accurate you can think. This test will contain questions based on Series, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Relationship, Analogies, Classification, Problems on Dice, etc., either in Verbal or Non-Verbal form 

General Knowledge (30%): The aim of this section is to test how well you are acquainted with the happenings in the surroundings at Local, National, International Level including Past Events, Current Affairs including, Science and Technology, History, Geography, Civics, Political Science and Literature in General 

Teacher Aptitude (30%): The Test aims to know your capacity to become teacher. It will contain questions related to your keenness to update your knowledge, leadership qualities awareness about changes in Education and Society , communication and Professional commitment etc. 

MAH BEd CET 2017 Test Centers 

MAH - B.Ed. CET 2017 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra. The cities in which MAH-B.Ed. CET 2017 will be conducted are designated as “Centers” for the CET. Each Centre may have many “Venues” depending upon the number of candidates appearing at that Centre 

A candidate appearing for CET shall be give his/her preference for the Centre, however, the Competent Authority reserves the right to allocate the Centre and Venue 
CET CELL/Directorate of Higher Education shall entertain no request for change of Centre/Venue/Date / Session for the Exam under any circumstances 

Exam Fees for CET 

For all candidates from Outside Maharashtra State* (OMS), Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State and J&K Migrant Candidates - Rs.800/-

To start online application, click on the link "Apply Online", create ‘username’ and ‘password’ when prompted 

To apply for the MCA program 2017, eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application form available on Institute website www.bitmesra.ac.in 

Pay application fee of Rs.2500/- (General/OBC candidates) or Rs.1500/- (SC/ST candidates) through State Bank Collect - Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card of any nationalized bank in favour of "Birla Institute of Technology" within the given time period (Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances)

BIT Mesra MCA Admission 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have passed with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of all subjects in Class 10. 

Candidates must have passed with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of all subjects in Class 12th/Equivalent Exam. 

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other Educational Institutions estd by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the MHRD, Govt. of India/AIU 

This degree must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (class 12 or equivalent) (10+2+3 system) 
Candidates must have one of following qualifications: 
a) Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or 
b) B.Sc in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics, or 
c) B.Sc with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at graduate level 

Candidates with above mentioned qualifications (item-4) must have minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average in graduation, marks to be computed as average of marks obtained in all subjects in which candidate has appeared. 

Candidates with B.Sc Honours must have minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average in their Honours subject. 

Candidates appearing for final exams of their Bachelor’s program in 2017 can also apply, provided they have obtained requisite marks or equivalent (as per item 5 or 6 above) based on latest available grades/marks at the time of applying, and if selected can join the program provisionally. 

Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programs are eligible only if the programs are recognized by the DEC-IGNOU; they have passed the qualifying exam at the time of applying, with minimum 60% marks in average (55% for SC/ST). 

Candidates with foreign diplomas should see the EdCIL website for equivalence www.edcil.co.in,and if required should obtain an equivalence certificate from the evaluation division of the AIU website www.aiuweb.org 

In case any board/university awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent marks would be based on the procedure prescribed by the board/university.

BIT Mesra MCA Admission 2017 Selection Procedure 

Candidates will be short-listed for ‘Admission’ on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the MCA 2017 online entrance test conducted by the Institute and will be notified on the Institute website and Notice.

No separate intimation will be sent to candidates.

BIT Mesra MCA Admission 2017 Exam Pattern 

The Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, will conduct an Online Entrance Test for shortlisting candidates for admission to its 3-year (6-semester) full-time MCA Program 2017 

Test shall comprise of 120 questions to be answered in 2 hours. Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices out of which only one is correct 
For each correct answer, a candidate will earn 4 marks. For every incorrect answer one mark will be deducted. If a question has not been attempted no credit will be given 

The questions will be distributed into various areas as follows and the detailed syllabus is given below: 

Subject-A: Mathematics - 60 questions 

Subject-B: Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning - 20 questions 

Subject-C: Computer Awareness - 20 questions 

Subject-D: English - 20 questions 

Total - 120 Questions 

Depending on the number of candidates at a given Test Center, the Test may be held upto three time slots at the Center, that is from 09.00 am to 11.00 am, 12.00 to 02.00 pm, and 03.00 to 05.00 pm 

Test will be held on 04th June 2017 (Sunday) at various 

Test Centres

SVNIRTAR CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

Age Criteria 

Only those candidates who are born between 01st January, 1997 and 31st December, 2000 (inclusive of both dates) are eligible. For SC, ST & PH category candidates, the candidate should be born between 01st January, 1992 and 31st December, 2000 (inclusive of both dates). 

Date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation Certificate, Secondary Education Board Certificate (Class X) will be treated as authentic. Candidates must produce original certificate for proof of age at the time of counseling, failing which they will be disqualified.

BPT Course (4 years + 6 months): 10+2 (Higher, Senior Secondary Exam) ISc or equivalent-recognized exam with subjects Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General\OBC and 40% for SC,ST & PH candidates

Eligibility Criteria for AUCET 2017:

·         Candidates from other recognized universities are considered for admission into PG Arts and Science programs only if they possess a three-year bachelor degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified.

·         Candidates who acquired bachelor degree by distance education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into PG programs, subject to submission of residence certificate.

·         The requirement for admission into all Science and Engineering programs offered by these universities is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group subjects (part II) of the qualifying examination unless or otherwise specified. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in group subjects (part II) is sufficient.

·         The requirement for Arts, Commerce and Law programs is generally a pass in the appropriate qualifying degree, except for M.Sc. Anthropology for which the requirement is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying examination and for SC& ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects. The requirement for M.Ed course is a pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC & ST candidates).

·         Candidates who have already passed their qualifying degree examination or who have appeared / are appearing for the final examination in 2017 only are eligible for AUCET-2017.

Application Procedure for AUCET 2017:

Candidates can apply online.

Application registration and processing fee of Rs. 500/- may be paid through SBI I-Collect/ Andhra Bank (billdesk)/ payment Gateway (credit/debit card).

Paper Pattern for AUCET 2017:

For all tests, the candidate has to answer 100 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes. Each question contains four alternative answers (a, b, c, d).

The candidate must mark the answer on OMR sheet and should not answer anywhere on the test booklet.
