GVSAT-2017 dates have been announced by Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU), Jaipur. The online GVSAT will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 to Thursday, May 18, 2017 and offline GVSAT will be conducted on Monday, May 22, 2017 to Monday, May 29, 2017.

GVSAT is conducted for taking admission to 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biotechnology, Agriculture and 5 years dual degree B.Tech E&C + M.Tech. VLSI/IC/DWCE/SE) (B.Tech. Electrical+M.Tech. Power Sys/Energy) (B.Tech. Comp. Science. +M.Tech. SE/IC/VLSI) (B.Tech. Mech+M.Tech. Manuf./Energy for the session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for GVSAT 2017:

For B.Tech Programs: Candidates should have passed 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English) with Aggregate 50%.Physics/Biology for Agriculture and Biotechnology program.

For Dual Degree B.Tech Programs: Candidates should have passed 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English) with aggregate 50%.

Note: Students appearing for 12th examination from a recognized board in the year 2017 or who have passed 12th examination in earlier years with minimum qualifying percentage mentioned above, are eligible to appear in the GVSAT-2017.

How to Apply:

Candidates can choose from among the following payment modes to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 500/-.

Option 1: Candidates can pay the fee online using a Credit Card, Debit Card or through Net Banking.

Option 2: The candidate can also pay the fee amount using a Bank Demand Draft drawn in favor of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur payable at Jaipur.

Option 3: Candidates can also deposit the application fee in cash at the University's Finance Department.

Paper Pattern for GVSAT 2017:

All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with a choice of four answers, only one being the correct choice.

Each correct answer fetches 2 marks. No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. There is no negative marking either.

There will be a total of 120 questions.

CMAT 2017 – AICTE has released the notification for the conduct of CMAT 2017 on October 5, 2016. This year, the test will be held on two days, on January 28 and 29, 2017. Last year, AICTE decided to conduct the test only once for an academic year and this year, it has decided to conduct the test on two days. Other than this, no changes has been made to Common Management Admission Test 2017. The online registration will commence from October 10 and will conclude on December 10, 2016. With the release of the application form, a link to access the same will be provided here in this article. More than 72000 candidates took the test last year and this number is expected to increase this year. Any Indian citizen having Bachelor’s degree can take this computer based national level test. On the basis of CMAT score, the candidates will be able to take admissions into various post graduate management courses in over 400 B-Schools of India. CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2017

AICTE has prescribed the eligibility criteria to appear for this test, which must be satisfied by all the candidates interested in taking this test. They must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility conditions of CMAT, before filling the application form. Non-fulfillment of the same may lead to disqualification of the candidature irrespective of the stage of admission a candidate will be. The eligibility norms are as follow –

The candidate should be an Indian citizen and can apply for the test irrespective of his or her age.

He/she must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.

Also, final year pursuing students of Graduate courses whose result will be declared before commencement of admissions for the academic year 2017-18 are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply:

CMAT Application Form 2017

The candidates eligible and interested in applying for this test will be required to get themselves registered online. AICTE will release the application form on October 10 and the last date to register for the test is December 10, 2016. For the ease of the candidates, a direct link to register for the test will be provided here in this article also. The applicants must fill and submit the CMAT 2017 Application Form only after ensuring that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. 

To register for the test, the candidates will have to enter as “New User” and fill a self-registration form by entering a few basic details. On submission of this form, a unique 6 digit password was generated. This password was sent to the candidates via e-mail and SMS. Thereafter, using this password and ID, the candidates will have to login to the registration portal for filling the application form and pay the requisite application fee.  

CMAT Application Fee 2017 

The candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee while filling the application form. This fee can be paid online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or by depositing cash at any SBI Bank branch in India against the online generated challan. The amount of the application fee is as follow –

For General category candidates – Rs. 1400/- + Bank Charges

For Reserved category candidates – Rs. 700/- + Bank Charges

CMAT Admit Card 2017

All the duly registered candidates will only be issued the admit card. From 13 January 2017, CMAT Admit Card will be made available for the candidates to download. It will be available in online mode only. A link to access and download the admit card will be provided here in this article for the convenience of the candidates. The admit card will also be sent to the registered email address provided by the candidates, but it won’t be sent via post. The candidates must carry their admit card to their respective test centre on the date of the examination for having entry. No candidate will be allowed entry into the exam centre, in case he/she will fail to furnish a valid admit card.

CMAT Exam Pattern 2017

The CMAT MBA Exam is a computer based test. The questions asked in the exam are objective type and 180 minutes are given to attempt these 100 MCQ’s. For every correct answer marked, 4 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for marking a wrong answer. The test pattern can be easily understood from the table given below.

UPSC Combined Defense Services Examination 2017, UPSC CDS 2017

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the exam dates for Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS-2017), which will be conducted in February 2017. The CDS exam (I) will be held on Sunday, February 05, 2017. CDS is conducted twice a year (February and October/November) for recruitment to the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.

Eligibility Criteria for CDS February 2017:

·         For Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy: The candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university or its equivalent for applying for this exam.

·         For Naval Academy: The candidates should be a science graduate B.Sc. with physics and mathematics or a B.E graduate for applying for the exam.

·         For Air Force Academy: The candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level or should be an engineering graduate.

·         The candidates who are at their final year are also eligible to apply and they need to submit the proof of passing the degree examination by the specified dates.

Paper Pattern for CDS February 2017:

The CDS examination pattern, subjects and scores varies from academy to academy. Detailed information is mentioned below:

·         The question paper for Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy includes subjects such as general knowledge, elementary mathematics and English. The duration for each subject is 2 hours and each subject carries 100 marks.

·         The question pattern for Officer' Training Academy (OTA) includes only English and general knowledge. Each subject carries 100 marks and duration would be of 2 hours individually.

·         In both cases the questions will be objective type only.

First 50 questions will be based on syllabus of Paper I, UPSC Preliminary Test (2016). Last 25 questions will be based on syllabus of Paper II. Under section II, 04 topics will be given and the candidate has to write an essay on any one. It carries 50 marks (1x50=50). Short-listed candidates will be called for interview, which carries 50 marks

Final selection will be based on combined marks of Entrance Test and Interview

PES University (PES), Bangalore has announced the exam dates for PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT 2017), which will be conducted from January-July and May 2017. The PESSAT for B.Tech program will be held in the month of May, 2017 and for all other programs, PESSAT will be conducted from Saturday, January 07, 2017 till July, 2017. PESSAT is conducted for taking admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs such as Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), BBA in Hotel and Event Management, Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs for the academic session 2017.

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam Medical 2017

NEET PG 2017 for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma Courses 2017

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET PG) is the single entrance examination to various MD, MS and PG Diploma courses, as per the directives of Supreme Court 

NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD, MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of India Medical Council Act, 1956 

NEET-PG is a single window entrance examination for PG Courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD, MS, PG Diploma Courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. Admission Session 2017 

National Board of Examinations has been notified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to conduct NEET-PG on an All-India Basis for admission to various MD, MS and PG Diploma Courses at various Medical Colleges and Institutions of the country 

NBE shall be conducting NEET-PG as a Computer Based Test (CBT) from 05th - 13th December 2016 at test centres located in 41 cities across the country 
While NEET-PG-2017 is being conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE); admissions to 50% seats in Govt. Medical Colleges will be filled by the Medical Council Committee (MCC) and the remaining 50% seats will be filed by the State Govt. or an Authority appointed by them

The fee for the examination has to be remitted through payment gateway, at the time of online registration, using a credit card or debit card issued by Banking in India or through online banking 

NEET PG Application Form 2017 

The online application form of NEET PG 2017 will be released on September 26, 2016. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form. The last date for online registrations is October 31, 2016 

The requisite application fee for NEET PG 2017 will be Rs. 3750/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 2750/- for SC, ST, PWD candidates, which has to be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking 

NEET PG Exam Pattern 2017 

NEET PG 2017 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). The online question paper will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by the exam conducting authority, NBE. The question booklet will have questions taught during MBBS programmes. Candidates can check below for the highlights: 
There will be a total of 300 multiple choice questions 
Each question will consist of 4 answers and candidates have to choose a single correct response 
Duration of the test will be 195 minutes-15 minutes for test tutorials and 180 minutes for attempting the test 
The weightage of MCQs is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter, amend and vary the same 

NEET PG Admit Card 2017 

Candidates who will successfully register for NEET PG 2017 will receive their admit card of NEET PG 2017 in the month of November 2017 
The examination authority will send and SMS to the registered mobile number of applicants. To download the admit card, candidates will have to provide their registration number and password. The admit card of NEET PG 2017 will consist of candidate’s details like name, examination timings, examination centre etc

National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bangalore has announced the exam dates for Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET-2016), which will be conducted in September 2016. The NIUM PGET will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016. PGET is conducted for taking admission to Mahire Tib Doctor of Medicine (M.D) and Mahire Jarahat Master of Surgery (M.S) programs offered in Unani for the session 2016-17.

Eligibility Criteria for PGET 2016:

A candidate must have obtained the Kamile Tib o Jarahat (BUMS) degree or any other degree in Unani Medicine as recognized by CCIM and must have completed 06 months/12 months internship/house job as the case may be, on or before 10th September 2016.

Application Procedure for PGET 2016:

Candidates can apply online.

After applying through online, candidate/s has/have to forward hard copy of application form (printout taken along with attested copies of enclosures and bank challan in original) to this institute addressing Convener, PGET Cell, National Institute of Unani Medicine, Kottigepalya, Magadi Main Road, Bangalore-560 091.

Paper Pattern for PGET 2016:

The entrance test paper shall be of 100 marks containing objective type, multiple choice questions covering all the subjects of BUMS program.

Each question will carry one mark.

The duration of the paper will be 100 minutes.

There will be no negative marking for any incorrect answer.

Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has announced the exam dates for online AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA-2016), which will be conducted in July 2016. The ATMA online exam will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016. ATMA is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs offered at various institutes/universities for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for ATMA July 2016:

·         The minimum qualification required to attend the ATMA is graduation from any recognized institute.

·         There is no restriction for minimum marks or any particular stream of study.

·         The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years.

Application Procedure for ATMA July 2016:

·         Candidates can apply online.

·         The dates of payment/registration will be announced on the website after completion of the ATMA February test.

·         There are four options available to the candidate for making payment:

·         Through debit /credit card (Payment Gateway)

·         Through net Banking

Paper Pattern for ATMA July 2016:

·         ATMA contains six sections namely: Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Verbal Skills, Analytical Reasoning Skills and Quantitative Skills.

·         Each objective type question will have four answers. The candidate will have to click the answer which he/she thinks correct.

·         Each correct answer receives one mark and there will be no marks for the question left unanswered. For each incorrect answer, a 0.25 mark will be deducted from the marks obtained.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi has announced the exam dates for OPENMAT-XL 2017, which will be conducted in August 2016. The OPENMAT-XL will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

OPENMAT-XL is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma in Management (DIM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM), Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP) programs for the session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for OPENMAT-XL 2017:

Ø       Candidates should have a graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for general category, 45% for reserved category, with 3 years managerial, supervisory, professional experience. Or

Ø       A professional degree with 50% marks in Engineering, Medicine, Chartered Accountancy (ICAI), Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWAI), Company Secretaryship (ICSI),Law.

Ø       There is no age bar.

Application Procedure for OPENMAT-XL 2017:

Ø       The candidates downloading the form from website are required to send a demand draft of Rs. 1,050/- drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.

Ø       Filled in applications must reach, the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068, by registered post, speed post.

Paper Pattern for OPENMAT-XL 2017:

The OPENMAT-XL exam has 4 tests:

Test 4                    Reasoning                         No. of questions: 70

All questions will be compulsory.

There will be 200 questions.

Total duration of the test will be 180 minutes.

No credit will be given for multiple answers for single question.

There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Use of calculators will not be allowed. Students need to do rough work in the space provided at the end of the test booklet
