Eligibility:

·         For Ph.D Programmes:

At least 55% marks in post-graduation (where ever marks allocated). For Medical subjects MD/MS/PG Diploma or MSc. Medical in relevant subject.

NOTE: Relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility criteria for SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/Differently - abled categories candidates will be given.

·         For M.Phil./ M.Phil. and Ph.D. Programmes:

At least 55% marks in post-graduation (in relevant subject).

·         Prescribed application form is available at the Registrar's office or may be downloaded from the University website, Duly filled application form should reach Registrar office along with non­refundable DD worth Rs. 1500/- (including test fee) in favour of ‘Swami Vivekanand Subharti University' payable at Meerut, latest by 20th September 2018. Amount may also be paid through online fee submission form at www.subharti.org/online_fee_submission_form.php

·         Applications of non eligible candidates & incomplete application forms will not be considered. Admit cards will be issued only to eligible candidates & sent through email only.

·         Qualified candidates of Entrance Test will be called for an Interview, Merit list will be declared after Interview. The date and time of Interview will be notified separately.

·         The applicants, who have qualified UGC-JRF/CSIR/NET/SLET/GATE or M.Phil, are required to indicate accordingly in the application form for exemption from the written part of the Ph.D. Entrance Test only.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H)

Eligibility:

·         NATIONALITY: Candidates should be Indian Nationals.

·         AGE: He or She has completed the minimum age of 17 years on or before the 31st December, 2018. Further, maximum age should not exceed to 25 years on or before 31.12.2018. There shall be relaxation of maximum age by five years for Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Other Backward Class (OBC) or Divyang candidates.

·         ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: He or She has passed the qualifying examination as defined under VCI - MSVE Regulations, 2016 with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English (as a core course) and obtained marks as specified under regulations (7) or an examination equivalent to intermediate science examination of an Indian University or Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English. As per MSVE Regulations, 2016, a candidate under General Category for admission to the BVSc & AH degree course shall have to qualify in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects, at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to the SC or ST or Divyang category of students as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 5% less than general standards Admission of students to BVSc & AH degree course shall be made only on the basis of his or her merit obtained in the Merit of NEET –UG-2018 subject to fulfillment of the other criteria as laid down above including qualifying examination and no other merit or weightage shall be considered for admission to BVSc & AH degree course.

·         PHYSICAL DISABILITY A candidate shall not be allowed admission to BVSc & AH degree course if he or she suffers the following disabilities, namely:- (a) disability of total body including disability of chestorspine more than 50%, (b) disability of lower limb of more than 50%, (c) disability of upper limb, (d) visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability, (e) candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc. (f) disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a veterinarian.

Note: The disability shall be certified by a duly constituted and Government authorized Medical Board comprising of at least three specialists out of which two shall be of the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him or her-self before the Medical Board and the last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board shall not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his or her certificate for disabled candidates.

Eligibility:

For Regular Category:

1.      B. Tech / B. Engg in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Petroleum Technology & Chemical Engineering or chemical engineering or equivalent degree with minimum aggregate marks of 60% for general category and 50% for reserved category.

2.      GATE / Non-GATE candidates’ entry criteria: 

For candidates with valid GATE score, shortlisting for interview will depend on the cut-off score decided for each program.

For candidates WITHOUT GATE score (essentially the sponsored candidates), for academic year 2018-19, selection will be through a written exam and/or interview. Decision to conduct this written exam to be made depending on the number of GATE applicants in the program.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and interview. Final selection will be made based on the performance in written test/interview, GATE score and previous academic performances taken together.

Eligibility for Sponsorship Category:

Sponsorship basis: Valid GATE score is not required. These candidates will have to qualify in a subject-wise written test/interview. Such candidates will not be eligible for M.Tech. scholarship. The candidate should have worked for the sponsoring organization for at least two years and need to submit a No Objection Certificate, leave approval for at least two years and the company should guarantee continued employment during the period of study.

How to Apply:

Admission Form should be submitted online before the last date as specified under “Important Dates” by paying necessary application fee. Candidates are need to bring all the documentary evidences in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience and research/professional experience) along with a self attested photocopy of each at the time of interview.

Demand Draft

Application fee payment can be made through Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates) drawn in favour of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, payable at Bangalore. The candidate should write his/her Name, Address, Phone number, and Email ID on the back side of the Demand Draft.

Application Fee (Non Refundable): Non-refundable Application fee should be submitted before filling of application form. Payment of the application fee should be made through NEFT/RTGS.
