Eligibility:

1.    Minimum 60% marks for General/OBC candidate & 55% marks for SC/ST candidates in B.Sc in Nuclear Medicine or B.Sc in Physics or B.Sc in allied/related subject i.e Radio Diagnosis, Radiotherapy or B.Sc (with physics as a subject) in life science /Chemistry/ Mathematics/Statistics from recognised University.

2.    Candidates appearing for B.Sc (final) exam are also eligible to apply.

3.    The candidate should have completed 17 years of age, but should not be more than 35 years as on 1st July 2019. Relaxation in age for reservation category (OBC/SC/ST) will be as per govt. of UP rules. High School certificate shall be considered as proof of age.

Admission Procedure:

·         Minimum qualifying marks will be kept as 50% for the General/OBC Category candidates, and 5% relaxation to SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination as per UP Govt. rule.

·         The selected students will have to complete the admission process by paying the prescribed fee online and report to the institute for verification of original documents etc on the specified date before the start on the course.

·         Academic Session shall start from 01st July, 2019.

A. Entrance examination:

1.    Admissions are subject to a written qualifying entrance test only. The test shall be of one & half hour duration, and shall contain 100 single best response, multiple choice objective type questions. Admit card shall be issued online 25th May 2019.

2.    Candidates willing to avail reservation shall submit domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh only. Non submission of any domicile certificate or domicile of state/union territories other than Uttar Pradesh shall treated as a general category.

3.    After scrutiny of candidates' application forms and documents, the list of candidates not eligible for the entrance test shall be posted on the website on 20th May 2019.

Note: Use of any unfair means is prohibited during the examination such as calculator, PDA, cellular phone, digital diary, laptop, pager, any computer, calculator- like material Bluetooth or Bluetooth gadget, electronic watches, log table, chits, note books etc. There may be checking and frisking before admission into the examination hall, and if any candidate is found with any of the aforementioned items, or is found cheating, or otherwise interacting with any other candidates, his/her paper will be cancelled and appropriate legal action may be initiated.

Candidates should reach the examination centre at least one hour before the exam.

The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) has been established by an Act of Parliament called the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013 at Fursatganj Raebareli, Dist. Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. In order to sustain the steady growth in civil aviation sector in India observed over the past decade, the market shall require a strong pipeline of professionally qualified workforce. Recognizing this need, Ministry of Civil Aviation proposed the establishment of a national aviation university which shall promote and facilitate aviation studies and research to produce quality human resources to cater to the needs of the aviation industry. The Cabinet approved the proposal to set up “Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University” under the administrative control of MoCA as a central university under an act of parliament. About 26.35 acres of land available with IGRUA was identified for setting of NAU in its first phase of establishment (2013-2019). After approval by EFC (Expenditure Finance Committee) and the Cabinet, a bill was introduced in the Parliament and finally the Act came into force on 19th September 2013.

Eligibility:

For B.Tech:

·         For admission to first year of B. Tech, the candidate should have passed 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) and also with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry each without grace

2nd year B. Tech Courses

·         For admission to second year of B. Tech under lateral entry:

·         Diploma holders: Passed 3/4 year diploma exam from an Institution recognized by UP Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering/Technology except Agriculture Engineering with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) without grace

·         B.Sc. Graduates: Passed 3/4 year B.Sc. Degree from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) without grace and having passed 10+2 exam with Mathematics as a subject

For MBA:

For admission to first year of MBA, the candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with at least 55% (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in the qualifying exam without grace

For MCA:

For admission to first year of MCA the candidate should have passed the recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration from any recognized University of India as defined by UGC with Mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained minimum 55% (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in the qualifying exam without grace

For M.Tech:

·         Admission test will be open to the Indian Nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying exam fulfilling the eligibility requirements given below

·         The weightage for Admission Test and valid GATE score shall be 40% and 60% respectively; however, the preference shall be given to the candidates having domicile status of UP State & Subsequently the candidates having domicile status of outside UP will be considered only if seats are vacant

·         The reservation policy as prescribed by the U.P. State Govt shall be applicable in admissions

·         Candidates applying under sponsored category should possess the working experience of minimum two years in industry/organization and shall be required to provide Sponsorship Certificate from sponsoring organization/industry at the time of counselling, however the admission to such candidates shall be offered only on the vacant seats, if available

For PhD:

·         Admission test will be open to the Indian Nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying exam fulfilling the eligibility; however, the preference shall be given to the candidates having domicile status of U.P. state

·         "Candidates who possess the Master’s Degree with Ist Division in Engineering/ Technology /Science/Management/Humanities or equivalent in the relevant discipline are eligible for the admission to PhD Program"

·         Certain seats may be available with fellowship under “Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme-II” and the Research cum Teaching Fellowship scheme of the University which will be notified at the time of counseling for the limited period. Candidates opting for Research cum Teaching Fellowship will have to opt for this at a time of counseling and appear for Interview.

·         The University may admit candidates to Ph.D. programme who have qualified a National Level test which entitles them for the award of Senior/Junior Research Fellowship/ any other Fellowship without appearing in the University’s Ph.D. Admission Test provided that they fulfill the eligibility norms of the University ordinance. Such candidates will be selected on the basis of personal interview.
