Father Muller Medical College is a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, a Registered Society sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Mangalore; is a Religious Minority Educational Institution established primarily for the benefit of the members of the Christian Community. Father Muller Charitable Institutions had a very humble beginning in the year 1880 under a banyan tree where Father Muller, a German Jesuit missionary started dispensing Homoeopathic Medicines to the ailing poor. Though it was started as a leprosy hospital, as need arose, an Allopathic Hospital was constructed and the care was extended to patients suffering from various diseases. Today it has grown as vast complex , consisting over 1,000 bedded multispeciality Hospital with graduate and postgraduate programmes in Medicine, Nursing and allied health sciences. It is noteworthy to mention that all these existing Medical and Allied Health Science programmes offered by Father Muller's Charitable Institutions contribute not only towards the diverse health needs of the people but it also caters towards preparing Quality Health Care Personnel for the country at large.

About COMEDK UGET 2020:

COMEDK is the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” an autonomous institution consisting of senior academicians and reputed administrative officers who have been associated in educational eco system. This autonomous COMEDK was entrusted the responsibility to organize testing procedures to determine the merit of aspiring students in an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative procedure by KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation – Medical & Dental) and KUPECA (Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association). By this, COMEDK has been serving 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 190 Engineering Colleges. Subsequent to the National Eligibility -cum- Entrance Test (NEET) being mandated as the only acceptable entrance exam for admission to Medical and Dental courses in the country, COMEDK continues the evaluation process for the members of KUPECA i.e. around 190 Engineering colleges. For the current academic year 2020-21, COMEDK would conduct an online examination all over India on Sunday, the 10th May 2020, across 300 centers for Engineering programs which offer around 20000 seats and will be followed by online counseling.

The entrance test is based on the existing syllabus of 10 + 2 / 11 & 12th STD / 1st and 2nd PUC.

Mock Test: In order to familiarize the students to the computer based test, an opportunity in the form of MOCK TEST will be made available in our website as per the calendar of events. As many as 6 different mock tests will be made available to the students before they take the final examination on 10th May 2020.

Eligibility:

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

The following shall be the eligibility criteria for Engineering and Architecture courses.

Engineering (B.E./B.Tech):

a) The candidates should have passed second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) and should have passed these subjects individually.

b) An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.

c) Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Architecture (B.Arch):

a) The candidates should have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) and also atleast 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) or passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with atleast 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) and should have passed these subjects individually.

b) All the candidates (including SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) seeking admission to B.Arch shall pass the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture or JEE Paper - 2. Qualification in NATA is subject to the candidate getting at least cut-off marks in two individual components and also getting at least the qualifying marks in aggregate.

c) (i) There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.

(ii) Candidates seeking B. Arch course shall submit separate application for participation in the Counseling.

Note: Notwithstanding the eligibility criteria mentioned as above, the changes, if any, prescribed by AICTE, COA or any other competent Regulatory Authorities, before the start of rank generation process of COMEDK, will be adopted. After generating the ranks, no changes will be made to the already prescribed eligibility criteria.

Eligibility:

The Candidate should fulfil at least any one of the conditions below:

A.    CAT 70 or XAT 60 Percentile & above with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in graduation from any recognized university

B.    With academic background of 10th standard – 75%, 12th standard – 75% & graduation – 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in graduation from any recognized university – with a valid score card in CAT/XAT

C.    Need to qualify ISB&M written competency test

How to Apply:

1. at Institute Counter

Candidate can obtain the ISB&M Prospectus along with the Application Form by paying the requisite Application fee at the institute counter/ Marketing Office. The candidate would be informed about his/her ISB&M ID through the email mentioned in the Application form.

2. Online Registration

Candidates can visit on website to fill up the Application form online.

For payment:

1.    One can use Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking. Once the payment is done, you will receive a confirmation of successful registration.

2.    One can make a Demand Draft of the requisite Application form fee drawn in favour of "International School of Business & Media" payable at Pune and send it to the registered campus address labelling it to ISB&M Admissions Office, Pune.

3.    On successful registration and payment the admission office will be sending the prospectus to the student

3. PDF Format

A student can download the PDF Form using the button Download PDF Form, complete it manually and paste a passport size photo on the form. Send the duly filled Application Form along with Demand Draft of the requisite Application form fee drawn in favour of "International School of Business & Media" payable at Pune and send it to the registered campus address labelling it to ISB&M Admissions Office, Pune. Once the admission office receives the form, the admission office will send mail/courier the prospectus to the student.

Scholarship and Rewards*

The institute has the provision for awarding the following scholarship and rewards to the deserving performers.

Merit scholarship:

Rs. 1, 00,000 per year for 2 applicants having a securing at least 80 percentile in CAT/XAT.

Rs. 50,000 per year for 5 applicants having a securing at least 75 percentile in CAT/XAT.

Rs. 25,000 per year for 10 applicants having a securing at least 70 percentile in CAT/XAT.

Merit scholarship for women candidates: Rs. 25,000 per year for 5 applicants having a securing at least 70 percentile in CAT/XAT. (If not selected in any other scholarship Category)

Note:

·         Upon admissions, candidate will go through a selection committee & will be recommended candidate will receive scholarship.

·         All recipients will receive only if maintain A grade CGPA at the end of 1st trimester.

·         50 % of the scholarship availed will be disbursed at the end of the first year and next 50 % at the end of the second year. Scholarship Committee’s decision is final and binding on all applicants.

In developing the National Centre for Biological Sciences we were guided by Abraham Flexner when he proposed the creation of the Institute of Advanced Study in Princeton. Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad) is an autonomous premier Science and Technology Institute established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay.
