The HITSEEE is an abbreviated form of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Exam (HITSEEE). The Hindustan Institute of Technology is a Part of Hindustan University headquartered in Chennai.  It was founded in 1985 by K. Eligibility for applying B.Tech Courses

A pass in intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry is mandatory for applying B.Tech courses.

Eligibility for applying B.Arch Courses

·         Here are the some referrals Conditions that a candidate is required for applying B. Arch Courses.

·         A pass in Class Intermediate with at least 50% with Mathematics, Business Mathematics as one of their subject.

·         Pass in 3 Year diploma (10+3), which recognized by Central, State Government with Mathematics with an aggregate not less than 50%

Conditions

·         The foreign Candidates who applying for B. Arch course Including NRI, Foreign should write an exam conducted by Council of Architecture (NATA) and its score shouldn’t be less than 80 out of 200.

·         The result awaiting candidates for HSC, +2 examinations are eligible to register online entrance exam. The Institute also suggests that the foreign candidates are not eligible to sit for online entrance examination.

ATIT offline test will be held on Sunday, May 01, 2016 and online test will be held from Monday, May 04, 2016 to Monday, May 18, 2016. ATIT is conducted for taking to admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria:

Application Procedure:

·         Students interested in appearing for ATIT 2016 can apply by any one of the following methods:

·         Candidates can apply online. Candidates must make payment of Rs. 700 towards the cost using Credit, Debit Card (Visa, Master Card, Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The ATIT Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.

·         Alternatively, applicants can file their details online and download the application form and send it to the Admissions Office along with the demand draft of Rs. 700 towards the cost. The DD should be drawn in favor of “IFHE - A, c ATIT (2016) Prospectus Fee” payable at Hyderabad.

Paper Pattern:

Online Test:

·         It is in Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

·         The test is of 2 hours duration and is conducted in 2-3 sessions per day at test centers all over India.

Offline Test:

·         It is in Paper Based Test (PBT) format.

·         The test is of 2 hours duration.

·         The answers have to be marked in the specially designed OMR answer sheet which will be provided at the time of the admission test.

·         Both online & offline tests constitute objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in multiple choice format. There will be 30 questions in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.

In pursuance of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Notification, the 3rd Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2016 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc.

The admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions shall include the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit, rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent 3 examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The weightage to school Board, Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization.

The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2016 application form online.

The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he,she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs, ISM Dhanbad.

INFORMATION BULLETIN:

The detailed information bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, process of normalization of marks, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be available on JEE (Main) website on 1st December 2015. The aspiring candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

APPLICATION FORM:        

The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main) website. The online application process will start from 01st December 2015 onwards; the last date for application is 31st December, 2015. The eligibility criteria for JEE (Main) & JEE (Advanced) are different. The candidates are requested to read the information bulletin carefully and themselves ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) as well as JEE (Advanced). In order to facilitate the aspiring candidates, the JEE (Main) secretariat has designated Facilitation Centres across the country who will help the candidates in filling online application without any charge. The list of such institutes is available on the JEE (Main) website and in JEE (Main) - 2016 Information Bulletin.

B.YEAR OF APPEARANCE IN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION (QE)

Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 or 2015: or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. Candidates who passed Class 12th,Qualifying examination in 2013 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2017 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. The candidates who appeared in class 12th, equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2013, did not pass in 2013, but passed in 2014 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2016. The candidates willing to appear for improvement examination of class 12th in 2016 have to appear in all the 5 subjects as per the scheme of study of the concerned board. Further, they may also note that in the percentile system, the total marks (of all five subjects) obtained, shown on the mark-sheet of a particular year are required in JEE (Main) and also in JEE (Advanced). The marks from two different year’s (i.e. marks for 3 subjects from year 2015 and marks for other 2 subjects from 2016) mark-sheets cannot be considered for percentile calculation.

C. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).

D. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS AND AGE LIMIT FOR THE STATES OF MAHARASHTRA AND ODISHA:

Since the States of Maharashtra and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. The age limit, for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their State level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will, however, be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs, NITs, IITs, CFTIs.

EXAMINATION FEE

The fee can be remitted in the following ways;

·         Through E-challan generated after successful submission of online application form. The fee through E-challan may be deposited in any branch of Syndicate, Canara, ICICI, HDFC Bank.

How to Apply:

ONLINE APPLICATION FORM SUBMISSION:

Online application has to be submitted through JEE (Main) - 2016 website. The aspiring candidate should furnish all the details and upload scanned image of his, her photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression while filling up the 'On-line' Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated acknowledgment slip after successful submission of data and payment of fee and keep the same in the safe custody for any future reference.

Important Note:

The entire application process is online, including uploading of photograph & signature and payment of fee the candidates are required NOT to send any document to JEE (Main) Secretariat.

Seven (7) Steps to be followed to apply online.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the exam dates for Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test Super Specialty (DNB-CET-SS 2016), which will be conducted in November 2015. The DNB-CET-SS will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015.

DNB-CET is a qualifying-ranking examination conducted for entry to post Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), DNB 3-year super specialty programs for the session January, 2016.

Eligibility Criteria:

1.     Candidates who are in possession of post graduate medical degrees, Provisional Pass Certificates by 31st December 2015 in eligible* specialties and their medical qualifications are recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 or DNB qualifications may apply for CET-SS through online application. Candidates shall have completed his, her 3 years of MD, MS training by 31.12.2015.

2.     Candidate should possess permanent registration certificate of MBBS qualification and their additional medical qualification should be registrable with Medical council of India.

3.     Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of CET-SS will not be permitted to appear in the examination. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and, or being successful in the CET-SS, the results, candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled and, or are deemed to be cancelled.

4.     Requests for appearing in CET-SS from candidates who are qualifying and getting their results of the basic eligibility qualification after 31st December 2015 shall be summarily rejected. 

Candidate who are qualifying and getting their results after 31st December 2015 or likely to qualify after 31st December 2015 need not apply in the CET - SS exam as they shall be ineligible to participate at any stage of the admission process.

5.     Candidates already pursuing a DM, MCh or DNB course are not eligible to appear for the CET-SS till such time they have completed the duration of prescribed course or have been discharged from the course.

6.     Registration and, or appearance in CET-SS does not confer any automatic rights upon the candidate for admission at NBE accredited hospital, institute.

7.     Registration with M.C.I., State Medical Council, is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

8.     Medical Genetics: NBE has introduce DNB Medical Genetics as 3 years Super Specialty Course from January 2015 Academic Session onwards. Candidates with DNB,MD,MS qualification in General Medicine, Pediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynecology only are eligible to opt for Medical Genetics (Cut off date for qualification 31.12.2015)

For candidates with DNB, MD qualification in Medicine, Pediatrics, the merit list for admission to Medical Genetics Programme shall be derived from DNB CET SS: medical & pediatrics subgroup respectively.

Candidates with DNB, MS qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology shall appear in the NBE FET (for the same academic session as DNB CET-SS) for Obstetrics and Gynaecology discipline. Their FET question paper shall have 100 questions in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and 30 questions in Medical Genetics. The marks obtained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology component (i.e. out of 100) shall be scaled to 180 and a common merit list shall be prepared (based on performance in 180+30 = 210 questions).

Paper Pattern for DNB CET-SS January 2016:

CETSS - Medical and Neonatology will be two-section tests with both the sections separately timed.

The first section comprising of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with single correct response is mandatory for all candidates. 

The total duration of the first section is 180 minutes.

The second section comprising of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) Medical Genetics is for those candidates only who wish to pursue DNB- Medical Genetics.

The total duration of the second section is 30 minutes

Total exam time for CETSS - Medical and Neonatology increases to 210 minutes (excluding tutorial). Once the section one has ended, candidates will be given the option to either quit the test or proceed to the second section.

Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), Madras has announced the exam dates for Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM-2016), which will be conducted in February 2016. The JAM online exam will be held on Sunday, February 07, 2016.

JAM is conducted for taking admission to 2 years Master of Science (M.Sc), joint M.Sc-Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree M.Sc-Master of Technology (M.Tech), M.Sc-MS (by research), other post-bachelor’s degree and Ph.D dual degree programs at the IITs

in Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi,Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad,Indore, Kanpur, Jodhpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee and Ropar and  integrated Ph.D programs at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and to consolidate Science as a career option for bright students from across the country for the academic session 2016. However, JAM score may also be used by other Institutions for admission to their programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

·         Candidates should have at least 55% aggregate marks without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for general, OBC (NCL) Category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks without rounding off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC, ST and PwD Category candidates in the qualifying degree.

How to Apply

·         Candidates can apply for JAM 2016 ONLINE only through JOAPS (JAM online Application Processing System).Please click Browser Settings and read the details given below before starting the online application process.

JOAPS (JAM online Application Processing System)

·         The candidates can do most of their interactions with JAM through the JOAPS interface provided at JAM 2016 website. Through JOAPS, a candidate can register and apply for JAM 2016, check the status of the application, download of admit card, know the result and download of score card, etc.

·         Once a candidate registers at JOAPS he, she will get the Enrolment ID and would be able to set the password. At the time of registration as a new user a candidate will be asked to fill in his name, e-mail address, mobile number and a password. once submission is done the JOAPS site would send the Enrolment ID to his, her mobile as a SMS. This Enrolment ID and given password should be used for further log in.

Step-1: Registration at JAPS

·         A candidate who wish to apply for JAM 2016 examination must first register on the JOAPS website, by providing his, her name, a valid E-mail address, a working mobile number and a password. Please note that Name of the Candidate, Email Address and Mobile Number (10 digits) cannot be changed in the later stage, hence they MUST BE carefully verified and confirmed before submission.

·         The candidate must give the name as it appears in the certificates.

·         The candidate must give an e-mail address that he, she uses and checks frequently, as all communications to the candidate from JAM 2016 will be sent to this e-mail address.The candidate must not use somebody else's e-mail address and only one candidate can be registered with one E-mail address.

·         The candidate should provide his, her personal mobile number because most of the communications may also be sent via SMS.

·         The password that the candidate provides should be chosen so that it cannot be guessed easily by others and this JOAPS password must not be forgotten by the candidate as he, she will require it to login to the JOAPS website.

·         Upon successful registration, an e-mail containing your JOAPS enrolment ID will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the candidate. The enrolment ID will also be sent to the mobile number provided by the candidate. The candidate needs to use this JOAPS enrolment ID along with the JOAPS password for all JAM 2016 related communications or website operations.

Step-2: Filling in the Application Form

·         Upon logging in to the JOAPS website, the candidate needs to fill in information, such as the number and choice of test paper(s) that he, she wishes to appear, city choices, date of birth, gender, parent, guardian's name and mobile number, nationality, category, PwD (Person with disability) status, address for communication, details of valid personal ID information, information on qualifying degree, percentage of marks, CGPA, status of graduation, college information, etc.

·         After filling in the required information, the candidate has to upload the image files (in .jpeg format) of photograph and signature. A scanned copy of SC,ST and, or PwD certificates (in.pdf format) are also to be uploaded, if applicable. The JOAPS website allows saving a partially filled application form, logging out and resuming filling up the application by logging in again.

·         The candidate should check for the correctness of the entered information and uploaded documents. If not satisfied, he, she can correct the entries and upload the files again. After ensuring that there is no error in the application form and all the relevant and valid documents are uploaded, the candidate must carefully read the declaration and accept the declaration before submitting the application. A candidate will be able to download the whole application including his photograph, signature and scanned copies of the documents in a .pdf format. once he, she ascertains the correctness the application is ready for submission. Once the candidate submits his, her application, then no further changes can be made to the applicationAfter the application form is submitted, the candidate can then also view the submitted details and download the duly filled application form.

KARNATAKA STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (KSET) FOR LECTURER, ASSISTANT PROFESSORS 2015

KARNATAKA STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (K-SET) Center

University of Mysore (UoM), Mysore has announced the exam dates for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET–2015), which will be conducted in December 2015. The KSET will be held on Sunday, December 06, 2015.

KSET is conducted for determining the eligibility for the lecturers, assistant professors of concerned universities, colleges, institutions (government, aided, private) of Karnataka state.

Eligibility Criteria:

1.     Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) for general category and 50% for Schedule Category (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons With Disability (PWD-VH,PH), Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates, in master’s degree OR equivalent examination from universities , institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi, in subjects like Science, Humanities (including languages), Social science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic science etc., are eligible to appear for this test.

2.     Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the Master’s degree examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and if they become eligible in the KSET examination, their eligibility certificate will be issued only on production of proof for having passed the Master’s degree or equivalent examination securing at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC, ST, PWD (VH,PH), Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates) within two years from the date of KSET examination, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.

3.     The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s degree completed on or before 19th September 1991 (irrespective of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks for appearing in KSET examination.

4.     Candidates shall appear for KSET examination in their relevant subject of their postgraduation only, in case the candidate did not find the subject of his post graduation in the list of KSET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC-NET , UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.

5.     Candidates other than general category are required to mention their social status (Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, SC, ST, PWD (VH,PH)) in the online application form. Candidates may note that they should satisfy the eligibility conditions with reference to the documents such as PG degree marks cards & certificates, category certificates and certificates related to PWD (VH,PH) enclosed with their application. The category certificates submitted by the candidates must be issued by the competent authority and the issue date of such certificate should be not earlier to 1st July 2014. In case their ineligibility is detected due to invalid certificate by the KSET agency at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

6.     Candidates should note that their candidature is provisional. The mere fact that admission to the examination will not imply that the KSET center has finally accepted his, her candidature. Candidates may note that candidature will be deemed final only upon fulfilling of eligibility conditions.

AGE: There is no upper age limit to apply for KSET examination.

HOW TO APPLY

Application Procedure:

1.     Candidates seeking admission to KSET 2015 examination must apply online website or through link available with the University of Mysore website.

2.     Before proceeding to apply Candidates must possess a scanned passport size photo in JPEG format (4.5cm x 3.5cm) memory should not exceed 300 k. bytes.

3.     Candidates should register (sign up for registration) giving personal and educational details. Candidates while mentioning their educational qualification they should select either as Passed or appearing as the case may be.
(Note: Candidate should note down and remember their email ID and password till the announcement of final results of KSET 2015 examination).

4.     Candidates are required to download the bank challan proforma prefilled with candidate details, Email id, and Fee and bank commission. Payments towards KSET examination fee including bank charges must be deposited to KSET accounts in any of the nearest State Bank of Mysore branch only after two working days from the date of downloading bank challan.

5.     After paying the necessary fee again after two days, candidates have to login with their registered email ID and password for downloading the application form and can take the printout of the 3 sheets of application form (hard copy) in A-4 size paper as detailed below;

a.     Application form: to be submitted to the Nodal center chosen by the candidate

b.     Attendance slip: to be submitted to the Nodal center chosen by the candidate

c.      Admission card: to be retained by the candidate

6.     Hard copy of the application form should be submitted to the respective Nodal center along with Original Bank Challan (KSET Copy) and attested copies of:

a.     SSLC Marks Card

b.     SC, ST, PWD (VH,PH), Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB category certificates

c.      Proof of qualifying examination certificate and final PG Degree Marks Card. (For those who apply under appearing may submit the same after passing the qualifying examination).

Affix his, her pass port size photo at the place indicated on the hard copy of application form and must sign across the photograph. It should also duly be attested by the gazetted officer with seal.

7.     All candidates should compulsorily submit the hard copy of application within the last date for submission, application received after the last date for submission will not be considered.

8.     Candidates should enclose application form and all other related documents in an A4 size cover. Super scribed as [Application for KSET - 2015].

9.     Printout of admission card should be retained by the candidate and bring on the day of examination after affixing passport size photo and it should be duly attested by gazetted officer. “NO Admission card” will be issued separately either by the Nodal centers or by KSET center.
