Those who have completed Graduate from any recognized/statutory University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), Programmes, which require specific discipline/ subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute

SNAP Test duration is of 120 minutes

SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has 04 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response. 0.25 marks will be penalized for wrong answers. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.

Selection Process for SNAP 2017: 

On the basis of their overall percentage of SNAP, a cutoff list (category-wise) will be prepared and uploaded on the official website of respective institutes. According to these cut off lists, students will be shortlisted for the GE-PI WAT

NMAT by GMACTM would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type questions). The NMAT by GMACTM will comprise the following:

ii) Quantitative Skills - 48 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 60 Minutes

iii) Logical Reasoning - 40 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 38 Minutes

About College:

IIT Bombay, the second in the chain of IITs, was set up in 1958.  It was the first IIT to be set up with foreign assistance.  The funds came from UNESCO in roubles from the Soviet Union.  In 1961, the Parliament decreed IITs as 'Institutes of National Importance'.  Since then, IIT Bombay has grown from strength to strength to emerge as one of the top technical universities in the world.

The cost for IIT Bombay-Washington University Executive MBA Program offered in Mumbai (starting April 27, 2017) is Rs. 36,00,000 (Rs. 36 lakhs).
Meals, textbooks, tutoring assistance, study materials, parking, and lodging for class weekends and for international residency are included in the tuition. You are responsible for all your transportation costs, including airfare for the International Management Residency at WashingtonUniversity in St. Louis in the United States. In the last decade Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) has emerged as a global university with a wide offering of programs and courses spanning varied educational faculties. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has 32 constituent units and is one of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus universities. The University Grants Commission which is the apex body concerned with higher education in India made an assessment of the academic excellence achieved by the institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth through a committee of experts and on the recommendation of the UGC, the Government of India accorded the status of "Deemed to be University" to twelve institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune on 26th April, 1996 vide their notification No. F.9-15/95-U.3.

Later in July 2000 the Government of India on the recommendation of University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education brought three more institutions within the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University vide their notification No. F-9-15/95-4-3 dated 28th July, 2000. 

The University Grants Commission vide their Letter No. F.No. 3-2/90 (CPP-1) dated 17th August 2002, have agreed to bring two more research institutions within the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. During the year 2004, a Medical College at Sangli and a Dental College at Navi Mumbai have also been brought No. F. 9-7/2004-U.3 within the ambit of this University by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India vide its notification dt. 19th August, 2004.

In order to meet the growing demand for management education the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal with the help of a donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust established a recognized Management institute of the Mumbai University in 1981.

Since then NMIMS has grown into a flourishing University offering courses / programs across various disciplines such as Management Technology Science Pharmacy  Architecture Commerce and Economics. Today the University has over 5000 students and more than 430 faculty members. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. ·         The minimum academic qualification is a second class master’s or equivalent degree in the relevant subject awarded by a recognized university in India or abroad, with at least an average of 55 per cent of aggregate marks, or a grade point average of 3.5 under the seven-point scale of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

·         In the case of Scheduled Caste (SC/ST/OBC) candidates, the minimum eligibility is an average of 50 per cent of aggregate marks, or a grade point average of 3.05.

·         Candidates who are likely to complete all the requirements of their final year master’s degree examinations by July 1, are also eligible to apply for M.Phil, provided they have successfully completed their first year masters degree.

·         A minimum of five years of post graduation work experience is required for Direct PhD programs. In case of the Integrated M.Phil-PhD Program, there is no requirement of work experience. However, candidates with one to two years of work experience will be preferred.

Paper Pattern for TISS-BAT 2017:

·         The entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration and the total marks will be 100.

·         Part-A: will be a 60 minute test with multiple choice questions on current affairs, social awareness and logical and analytical reasoning, carrying 60 marks.

·         Part-B: will be a written test with a set of deive questions in English. Candidate is expected to write two short answers in 30 minutes carrying 40 marks. It is compulsory for the candidates to attempt both the parts.

·         Both part A & part B will have separate cut off marks for evaluation.
