The salient features of The Orissa Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act, 2007 are as follows.

* Methods of admission in technical and professional educational institutions: Subject to provisions of this Act, admission of students in all the technical and private professional educational institutions, Government institutions and sponsored institutions to all seats including lateral entry seats, shall be made through JEE conducted by the Policy Planning Body followed by counseling order of merit, in accordance with such procedure as recommended by the said body and approved by the Government of Odisha in consonance with the provisions of OPEI(RA&FF) Act 2007.

* Prohibition of Capitation fee: No capitation fee shall be collected by a professional educational institution, sponsored institution or by any person who is in charge of the management of such institution, from any candidate in consideration of his admission to or continuance in any course of study or his promotion to higher class, in such institution under the management. Where the Policy Planning Body on receipt of any complaint or is otherwise satisfied that the management of such institution or any person who is in charge of the management of such institution has contravened the provisions of the previous section / para, the Body may, after making due enquiry in the manner prescribed, recommend to the Government for imposition of fine not exceeding Rupees Ten Lakhs against the management of such institution for such contravention.

Note:“The general public / guardian / parents and students intended to take admision in to different Profesional and Technical Institutions of Odisha are hereby informed through this Information Brochure that if they have any complain regarding admision proces / procedure, they can file complain in shape of afidavit with supporting authenticated documents to the member Secretary PPB-cum- Principal, Bhubananda Odisha School of Enginering (BOSE), Cutack who in turn wil place the mater to PPB (Policy Planning Body) for disposal under the provisions of ODISHA Profesional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admision and Fixation of Fe), Act, 207”.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ø       Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of examination in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE.

Ø       The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

Paper Pattern: Questions will be in the branch/ discipline opted for.

Ø       Total number of questions asked: 60 Multiple Choice questions

Ø       Each correct answer shall fetch four marks.

Ø       There is no negative marking

They must upload their Photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression while filling in the OJEE 2015 Online Application Form.

Admit Card

OJEE PG 2015 Admit Card - Candidates who will appear for the Odisha JEE PG 2015 must download the Admit Card. The Download of OJEE PG 2015 Admit Card will be available from April 20, 2015 onwards. Candidates must remember that the Admit Card for Odisha JEE PG 2015 will not be dispatched by any.

Counseling Process: 

After deduction of the 5% of the seats for NRI quota, the rest of the seats will be allotted as - 50% for GATE qualified candidates and 50% for OJEE PG qualified candidates

Online registration and choice filling will be held in Mid June – June end, 2015

Candidates will have to report to nodal centre and get their documents verified

The original certificates and mark sheets along with photocopies of certificates, mark sheets and other related documents in two sets as per eligibility of the candidate must be produced during document verification

After Document verification, Seat Allotment will be done and allotted Candidates have to pay Rs.16,000 (Govt. Institution) or Rs.30,000 (Private Institution) through a separate A/c Payee Bank Draft drawn in favour of “OJEE-2015” on any Nationalised Bank payable at Bhubaneswar.

The balance after deduction of the University fee of Rs.4,500 (as per section 1.8.2) shall be paid to the admitting college for adjustment against the tuition and other fees payable to the college

Note: The fee of Rs.16,000 or Rs, 30,000 will be forfeited if the candidate  later decides not to join the college / course in the allotted college

The OJEE PG 2015 schedule of counselling and venue will be notified through the website as well as through the rank card.

Admission is strictly based on OJEE PG 2015 merit rank and choice of the candidate given during the counselling.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) provides the students the ease of filling up a single application form to get admission to any of the 16 participating law institutes' under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). Educational Qualification for UG Programme:A candidate should have obtained Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST candidates), as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities Age for UG Programme: A candidate should be below 20 years of age as on 01st July 2015 (22 years in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability candidates, as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities

Educational Qualification for PG Programme: A candidate should have obtained an LL.B/a five year integrated LL.B/any other equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST candidates), as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities

Age for PG Programme: The participating Universities have not prescribed any upper age limit for PG Programmes

Exam Pattern CLAT 2015

The CLAT-2015 Question Paper for UG courses shall multiple choice type questions as per the following scheme Maximum Marks: 200 Duration of CLAT-2015: 02:00 Hours Total Number of Questions: 200 Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark/wrong answer

Subject areas with weightage

1.     English including Comprehension: 40 Marks

2.     General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 50 Marks

3.     Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability): 20 Marks

4.     Legal Aptitude: 50 Marks

5.     Logical Reasoning: 40 Marks

The CLAT-2015 Question Paper for PG courses shall have the following pattern: Maximum Marks: 150 Duration of CLAT-2015: 02:00 Hours Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions: 100 Mark Multiple-Choice Questions: 50 Marks (50 questions of 1 mark each) Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark/wrong answer to MCQ The long essay type contains 4 questions and 25 marks each pertaining to subject areas such as constitutional Law and Jurisprudence The Multiple-Choice Questions covers all subjects except Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence prescribed by BCI for Under-Graduate Courses

Application Fee

The candidates has to pay the application fee for general OBC/PWD and other category candidates Rs. 4000/- while submitting the Application Form of CLAT-2015 The fee is Rs. 3500/- in case of the SC/ST category candidates

The candidates will have to bear the bank transaction costs for remitting the fee online while submitting the application form

The above application fee includes cost of online application form and e-brochure Previous year e-Question Papers of CLAT shall be available on the payment of Rs. 250/- only; for this the mode of payment is Online only.

Mode of Application

There is only one mode of application i.e. online which can be accessed by a candidate after registering himself/herself on the CLAT website by creating a login account

The Online Application Form can be submitted only between 01st January 2015 to 31st March 2015 (11.59 PM)

The submitted Online Application Form in PDF format and other details will be available and accessible in the Login Account of the candidate; no copies of the filled in Online Application Form or uploaded certificates/documents need to be sent to the CLAT Office separately

The Hall-Ticket/Admit Card may be accessed / downloaded by the candidate in the personal LOGIN ACCOUNT; the candidate is required to take the printout of the Admit Card to the Exam Hall

Incomplete application or application in any mode other than online or application after the last date and time shall not be considered. It shall be the obligation of the candidate to fill the Online Application Form in a timely manner and the Organizing University, i.e. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow -226012 (UP) shall not be responsible in anyway

Candidates have to be successful in KLUEEE (KL University Engineering Entrance Examination), JEE-Main, JEE-Advanced and State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India including EAMCET and Merit in Sports.
