The admission to various undergraduate programs for the academic year 2015 offered by NIOH & SVNIRTAR will be done as per the application and admission procedure detailed in this bulletin

The candidate should be an Indian National only would be made exclusively on the basis of merit in the Common Entrance Test CET-2015

Eligibility Criteria:

Date of Birth: Candidates who are born between 01 January, 1995 and 31st December, 1998 (inclusive of both dates) are eligible

For SC, ST  and PH category candidates, the candidate should be born between 01 January 1990 & 31st December 1998 (inclusive of both dates)

Date of birth as recorded in the Birth certificate, Secondary Education Board Certificate (Class X) will be treated as authentic

Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian National

Academic Qualification:

BPT Course (4 years + 6 months): 10+2 (Higher, Senior Secondary Examination) ISc or equivalent-recognized examination with subjects Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General\OBC and 40% for SC,ST & PH candidates

BOT Course (4 years + 6 months): 10+2 (Higher, Senior Secondary Examination) ISc or equivalent-recognized examination with subjects-Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General\OBC and 40% for SC,ST & PH candidates

BPO Course (4 years + 6 months): 10+2 (Higher, Senior Secondary Examination) I Sc or equivalent-recognized examination with subjects Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology(B) or Mathematics (M) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General\OBC and 40% for SC,ST & PH candidates

i. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination with essential subjects and results are awaited, can also apply and appear in the entrance test; however their case will only be considered at the time of counseling on production of documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying exam with required percentage

ii. The candidates who have discontinued their regular study for more than 3 (three) years are not eligible to appear in the Entrance Test

iii. For admission at SVNIRTAR- As per regulations of Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar

iv. In 10+2 examination, candidate should have five subjects; one subject should be English

PPMET 2015 for Admission to B.Sc Nursing Courses Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot conducts Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test - PPMET 2015 for seeking admission to B.Sc Nursing Course in the various Nursing colleges in Punjab affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for the academic session 2015-16

Eligibility Criteria: 

He, She has passed qualifying examination as under:

a.     The Higher Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam after a period of 12 years study,  the last two years of study comprising of Physics,  Chemistry & Biology after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years education structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education; (or)

b.     The intermediate exam in Science of an Indian University, Board or other recognized examining body with Physics,  Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject; (or)

c.      The Pre-professional, pre-medical exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology,  after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the pre-university or an equivalent exam; the pre-professional, premedical examination shall include a practical test in Physics,  Chemistry and Biology and English as compulsory subject; (or)

d.     The first year of the three year degree course of a recognized university with Physics,  Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the exam is a University Examination and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course; (or)

e.     B.Sc exam of an Indian University,  provided that he, she has passed the B.Sc exam with not less than two of the following subjects-Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he, she has passed the earlier qualifying exam with the following subjects: Physics,  Chemistry and Biology and English; (or)

f.       Any other exam which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate Science exam of an Indian University, Board, taking Physics,  Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English

Age Limit:

Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years, on or before 31st December 2015 of the corresponding year

Candidates should have studied during his, her 10+1 and 10+2 examination or other qualifying examination in place of 10+2, as listed in 4 (A) (i) (a) to (f) above,  as candidate from a recognized institution situated in the State of Punjab only except for the exemptions wherever applicable

Reservation:

a.     For Govt., University College: The reservation in the State quota seats in Govt. Institutions in various categories for admission to the under Graduate Para Medical Courses will be as under:

(i) SC - 25%; (ii) BC (Note: The backward class certificate must be as per the latest instructions of the Govt. of Punjab): 05%; (iii) Backward Area, Border Area (1% each): 02%; (iv) PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped (disability 50% to 70% ) to be determined at the time of counseling by a duly constituted board of the specialty of Orthopaedics): 03%; (v) Sports Persons (Credit will be given for the sports achievements made during 10+1, 10+2 classes only): 01% (vi) Wards of terrorist, riot affected persons (in order of preference to the exclusion of next category): 01%

b.     Private Colleges: The institutions who are allowed to admit only girls will obey the Govt orders; the reservation in private institutes (in Govt, Mgmt quota seats) will be as under:

Rs.4500, - for General Category (Rs. 2250, - for SC categories only) be deposited in any branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce throughout India by using Bank challan form which is generated after applying online through University website due date and time

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Academic Qualification:

Candidate for admission to the first year MBBS,BDS Degree Course should have passed the H.Sc (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40 % for SC,OBC) in the following subjects: Biology(Botany & Zoology),Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology

The Candidate should also have taken English as one of the Subject

Improvement of Marks:

Candidate may also seek admission with marks secured in the improvement examination (if it is advantageous) provided it is the first improvement exam

Age Limit:

Eligibility Criteria:

Medical, Dental: Candidates should have passed II PUE, 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate in PCB (Those who have appeared and awaiting results of IInd PUE may also apply with the indication "Results are awaited" in the Application form).

The candidate should secure 50% of marks i.e. 90 marks out of total marks of 180 in UGCET 2015 to secure rank and eligible for counseling.

Those candidates who seek Admission under Religious, Linguistic category in Medical, Dental, Engineering such candidates should attach Minority Certificate as reflected in the brochure (Linguistic, Religious) duly signed by the Headmaster of the high school where the candidate studied.

Any other Condition: As stipulated by Competent Authorities.

Hall Ticket:

Candidates should download the admission tickets by entering Mobile Number given in the application form as user name and date of birth as password from the Association’s website and produce the same at the time of entrance test.

Results:

The results of the Test would be displayed on the Association’s website on 05th June 2015.

Request for re-totaling or revaluation of OMR sheets will not be entertained as valuation and the subsequent scoring is on scanning method.

No Ranking would be assigned to those candidates who secured less than 90 marks (Out of 180 marks).

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the exam dates for Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test (DNB-CET-2015), which will be conducted in July 2015. The DNB-CET will be held from Wednesday, July 01, 2015to Saturday, July 04, 2015.

DNB-CET is a qualifying-ranking examination conducted for entry to various post graduate programs including direct 6 years program in the specialty of Plastic Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Cardio-thoracic Surgery and Pediatric Surgery for the session July, 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for DNB-CET July 2015:

Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree, provisional pass certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent, provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India and have completed one year of internship, likely to complete on or before 31 July 2015 may apply.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for DNB-CET July 2015:

Candidates can apply online.

The prescribed registration fee of Rs. 4500,- should be remitted through payment gateway provided using a credit card or a debit card issued by banks in India or through net banking.

Paper Pattern for DNB-CET July 2015:

DNB-CET is conducted as computer-based test only.

The test comprises of 300 multiple choice, single correct response questions in English language only.

There shall be no negative marking.

Eligibility:

·         For MBBS/BDS Programs: The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually and have secured at least minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and must have passed in English also.

·         For BPT, BOT, B.Sc. Nursing, and other Allied Paramedical Programs: The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board Secondary Education M.P or C.B.S.E having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject individually. For admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses candidate must have passed in English also.

Paper Pattern:

·         There will be one common paper with 200 multiple choice questions on Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology for duration of three hours and maximum marks of 200.

·         There will be 50 questions asked from each subject.

Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA), Bangalore has announced the exam dates for KRLMPCA Under Graduate Common Entrance Test (KRLMPCA UGCET), which will be conducted in May 2015. The KRLMPCA UGCET will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015.

KRLMPCA UGCET is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) programs offered in various specializations in its member colleges for the academic session 2015-16.

Eligibility:

Eligibility Criteria for KRLMPCA UGCET2015:

·         For Medical Programs: Candidates should have passed II PUE, 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate in PCB.

·         For Engineering Programs: Candidates should have passed II PUE , 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Bio Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate of 50% in the optional subjects.

·         Downloaded Applications should accompany with a DD of Rs.1000.00 drawn in favour of KRLMPCA payable at Bangalore.

Paper Pattern for KRLMPCA UGCET 2015:

·         Paper I: Physics and Chemistry (120 questions, 120 marks) common paper for medical, dental and engineering courses.

·         Paper II: Biology (60 questions, 60 marks) for medical, dental courses.

·         Paper III: Mathematics (60 questions, 60 marks) for engineering courses.

Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun has announced the exam dates for Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE), which will be conducted in June 2015. The UKSEE will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 and Friday, June 19, 2015.

UKSEE is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT), Master of Computer Application (MCA) and lateral entry to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), B.Pharm and MCA programs for the commencing session 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for UKSEE 2015:

Ø       For BHMCT Program: Candidates should have should have passed 10+2 examination, obtained at least 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

Ø       For MCA Program: Candidates should have recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 year duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level, obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

Ø       For Pharmacy Program: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject.

Ø       For Lateral Entry to MCA Program: Candidates should have recognised bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT, Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level and should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

Ø       The cost of brochure,application form inclusive of examination fee is Rs. 1000,- for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 500,- for SC,ST candidates with Rs. 125,- as handling charges.

NTPI Nagpur PG Diploma Common Entrance Test 2015

As per Mandatory requirements under Indian Electricity (Amendment) Rules, 1981

ABOUT THE COURSE: This is a modular course of one-year duration. Formal coaching is held at Regional Institutes of NPTI Located at 1. Nagpur(Maharashtra). 2. Badarpur (New Delhi) 3. Durgapur (WB) 4. Neyveli (TN) 5. Guwahati (Assam) and 6. Nangal (Punjab). On-job training is conducted at the nearby Thermal Power Stations and the training on state-of-the-art Simulator at NPTI Faridabad, Badarpur, Nagpur. The course profile covers the mandatory requirements under Indian Electricity Amendment Rules 1981, which stipulates "No person shall be authorized to operate or undertake maintenance of any part or whole of generating station of capacity 100 MW and above together with the associated sub-station unless he is adequately qualified and has undergone the specified training at a recognized Institute".

Eligibility:

B.Tech/B.E or its equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electrical & Electronics (EEE)/ Power Engineering

Those appearing in their final year examination can also apply. However, they must submit their final degree/provisional degree certificate at the time of counseling

NPTI PGDC CET Selection Criteria:

Merit based on Common Entrance Test (CET) result followed by counseling at NPTI Nagpur

CET will be held on 28th June 2015 (Sunday) at 8 cities; Faridabad, Badarpur (New Delhi), Nagpur, Durgapur, Neyveli, Bangalore, Guwahati and Nangal

Age Limit: There is no age limit for pursuing PGDC in TPPE

Total Seats: 570

Reservation: Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/Physically challenged as per Govt. of India norms; 25% seats are reserved for candidates sponsored from Power Utilities

PGDC CET 2015 in Course Fee:

For non-sponsored candidates Rs.2,30,000 + Service Tax @14% (in 2 installments). For candidates sponsored from PSUs / Private Utilities Rs.3,60,000/- + Service Tax @14%  to be paid in lump sum at the time of admission. There is no fee concession for any category of candidates.

Course fee for Foreign Nationals:

SAARC Countries: US$ 15,000 plus Service Tax @14%

Other Countries: US$ 17,000 plus Service Tax @14%

In addition institute fees like Hostel, Internet, Caution deposit, transportation etc. is to be paid by the participants
