GGS Indraprastha University IPU CET 2017 Notification and dates have been announced. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi has invited applications from eligible candidates for appearing in Common Entrance Test(IPU CET 2017), the result of which will be considered for admission to following listed programmes of its centres for the academic year 2017-18
About IPU CET: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts IPU CET, a common entrance exam for eligible candidates to avail admissions in the various courses offered by the university.

The admissions to the programmes of studies in the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) are primarily through common entrance tests (CET) conducted by the University or on merit of the qualifying degrees.

IPU CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the IPU CET 2017 eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for the exam.

Here are the GGSIPU-CET-2017 Eligibility requirements:

Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board

A minimum aggregate of 55% in class 12th is a prerequisite, but the candidate must have passed all subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) separately

The candidates must have passed English subject (core, elective or functional)

They should be 21 years old as on the date of examination

The candidates appearing in Class 12th exam in 2017 are eligible to apply provided that they should be able to meet the eligibility criteria at the time of IPU-CET counseling.
The appearing candidates are required to present the 12th class mark sheets at the time of counseling

Age Limit

(As on 01st August 2017 candidate should not be more than)

i) For all Undergraduate Programmes where entry qualification is 12th pass other than MBBS, BDS - 21st years

ii) For MBBS, BDS - 35 years

iii) For all other Post Graduate Programs where entry qualification is graduation - 45 years

iv) Bachelor of Vocation - 45 year

Note

1. Candidate should be not less than 17 years as on 31st December 2017 for BHMS, BAMS, MBBS, BDS Program

2. For MPH (FE) Programme, upper age limit is 45 years for in service candidates and 35 years for direct candidates, as in August 2017

3. For BHMS candidates, the candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as in December 2017

4. For Bachelor of Vocation Programmes the candidate should not be less than 16 years in December 2017

5. For SC, ST, OBC category candidates for MBBS,BDS CET, a relaxation of 5 years shall be granted on the maximum age specified.

IPU CET 2017 Admit Card

All candidates must possess their IPU CET 2017 Admit Card while appearing for the entrance test

Admit card can be downloaded from the university website just 7 days prior to the CET exam date

Applicants can download IPU CET 2017 Hall Ticket by using their login and password. The applicants must carry two hard copies of the admit card, with 2 passport photographs on it, on the day of the exam

Candidates must preserve the Admit Card of IPU CET 2017 till the time of counselling, admission

IPU CET 2017 Exam Pattern

Candidates must read the exam pattern of IPU CET 2017 to know about various aspects of the exam and question paper such as number, type and weightage of the questions, exam duration and marking scheme. IPU CET 2017 Exam pattern is given below:

The test will be comprised of total 150 questions

The questions are asked from the syllabus of class 11th and 12th

The total time for the entrance test will be 150 minutes

For B.Tech the question will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths

There is equal weightage for all the three subjects

The questions will be of objective type having four answers

There will be negative marking for the wrong answers

Four marks will be given for a correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

The entrance exam for B.Tech will be conducted in first week of May 2017 where as the entrance exam for B.Tech (Biotechnology) will be conducted in third week of May 2017

Interested candidates are required to fill the application form online, latest by last week of March 2017

How to Apply:

IPU CET 2017 Application Form

To apply for the exam and admission process, the candidates will be required to fill IPU CET 2017 Application Form. The forms could be obtained from the official website of IP University, from last week of March 2017

Procedure to Fill Online Application Forms: Fill the details and click on Next to proceed. Use Mouse to move between fields for entry of data instead of using Tab Key. Fields marked with are mandatory. Once a candidate has submitted his,her details, they cannot edit the same and have to re register in case they need to change any personal information.

General Instructions

The detailed instructions about the online counselling, User Manual, FAQs shall be available on the University website www.ipu.ac.in & www.ipuadmissions.nic.in. Candidates are advised to go through the details thoroughly at these sites before registration. This information shall be available before the start of the online counselling. Aspirants, candidates should keep seeing the University website(s) in this regard.

The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility as given in the Admission Brochure carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for admission in various programmes before registering online for admission and submitting the fees

Submission of Counselling Participation Fee

Candidate has to deposit a nonrefundable Rs.1000,- plus charges as applicable, as one time (non refundable) Counselling Participation Fee, as per the schedule for each CET Code

For depositing the Counselling Participation Fee, the candidate has to visit the GGSIP University admission website www.ipuadmissions.nic.in and select the option for “payment of counselling participation fee" enters CET details viz CET Roll No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number. After submission of the details as mentioned in para 2 the candidate will get two options of payment:

i) Cash payment (challan will be generated and fee may be deposited through cash in any branch of Indian Bank)

ii) Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card

The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment on the website www.ipuadmissions.nic.in and must take the printout of online fee confirmation receipt with the transaction details, to be retained for all future reference. In case of payment of fee through Challan, the candidate must retain the copy of the Challan after depositing the fees

FILM AND TELEVISION INSTITUTE OF INDIA

Established as 'Film Institute of India' in 1960 on the erstwhile Prabhat Studio premises at Pune, FTII boasts of a rich legacy in quality Indian cinema. The Prabhat Studios were declared heritage sites by the Pune Municipal Corporation and are used by the students to this day. The Television Wing, earlier located at the Mandi House, New Delhi was shifted to Pune in the early seventies, bringing together the training in film and television under a common roof. At its inception in 1974, the Television wing was concerned with the provision of in-service training to personnel from Doordarshan. This Wing has in recent years launched a one-year course in Television.

The Institute has come a long way from its humble beginnings. Today, the FTII is commonly regarded as a center of excellence across the world. Films made by the students of the Institute have enjoyed excellent receptions in festivals in India and abroad and have gone on to win National and International awards.  The alumni of the FTII have left an indelible imprint across all facets of Indian Cinema and television and have built an excellent reputation in its allied industries.

The FTII is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. Its policies are determined by a Governing Council. The latter appoints the director of the institute.

The FTII is a member of CILECT, an international association of film schools.

DAVUET is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) honors in Agriculture, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology, Bachelor of commerce (B.Com),Mater of commerce (M.com),Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs for the session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for DAVUET 2017:

For B.Tech./B.Sc/B.Com/BBA Programs:

Candidate who has passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate of marks in respective are eligible to apply.

A candidate who is appearing or has appeared in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th standard in 2017, is eligible to appear in the test.

For M.Com./MBA Programs: Candidate who has passed or appearing for Bachelors’ degree are also eligible to apply.

Application Procedure for DAVUET 2017:

Candidates can applyonline.

Candidate may also get the registration form from the Principal of the opted examination centre by paying Rs. 200/-.

Mode of payment can be paid through cash or multicity cheque or demand draft.

The fee can also be deposited through Multicity cheque/DD of Rs 200/-drawn in favour of “Principal, (fill in respective examination centre) payable at the respective city.

Paper Pattern for DAVUET 2017: The question paper shall be based on CBSE syllabi of 10+1 and 10+2.

Question paper will be in English language only and questions will be of multiple choices (MCQ) type.

Each question will have 4choices out of which only one correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate circle is to be shaded on the provided OMR sheet.

Each question will carry one mark.

MSc (Hons)(Chemistry)[Integrated First Degree Programmes] Admission 2017

Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MSc Hons Chemistry in Birla Institute of Technology and Science, BITS, Pilani

For admission to any of the above Integrated First Degree Programmes (except Dubai campus) thecandidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admission to B.Pharm, the eligibility criterion is Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60%marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects and adequate proficiency in English. However, admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT 2017.

Only Students who are appearing for 12th class examination in 2017 or who have passed the 12th class examination in 2016 are eligible to appear for BITSAT-2017. Direct Admission to Board Toppers.

Students who obtain First Rank in any central or state level board exam in India held in the year 2017 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2017 score subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned above.

In addition to applying and appearing for BITSAT-2017, candidates will have to apply for admission to BITS through a separate application form for seeking admission to programmes offered at Pilani, Goa Hyderabad campuses along with the details of their 12th class marks. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the seven Institutes of technology created as centers excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India, the others being at Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Bombay, Guwahati and Roorkee. Established as College Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared an Institution of National Importance under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963" and was renamed "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi ". It was then accorded the status of a deemed university with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, laid the foundation stone of the Institute on January 27, 1959. ·    Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology /Architecture / Pharmacy / B.Sc. Agriculture
Engineering (Minimum 4 years after 10+2).

OR

·    Master's degree in any branch of Physical / Chemical / Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational / Information Science, Agriculture or Master's Degree in Commerce / Economics, CA/ ICWAI.
