Application Forms:1. Application forms can be purchased in person or by post. Application forms and prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs. 1200/- for general category and Rs. 1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH category through a demand draft only, drawn on any scheduled bank payable to Registrar IIMC at New Delhi, from IIMC New Delhi or IIMC Dhenkanal (Odisha). Request for application forms should be accompanied by a Demand Draft & a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 70/-) envelope (27x17 cm).

2. For on-line Application process

The application form can be filled after downloading from website. Each application form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- for General & Rs.1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories drawn in favour of Registrar, IIMC New Delhi on or before 30th April 2014.

3. Important:The sale of application forms will commence at IIMC New Delhi and IIMC Dhenkanal from 10 March 2014. Application form for Course Nos 1 and 2 is common. There are separate application forms/entrance examinations for Course Nos.3, 4 & 5. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one Course will have to fill separate application forms for each Course they wish to apply for.

They will be appointed on a consolidated salary slab of Rs. 30,000-35,000 and 25,000-30,000 per month respectively, which is subject to upward revision.

The appointment will be on contract basis, initially for one year, which may be extended for 2 years & finally for another 3 years on the basis of periodic assessment.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to apply to the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) 2014 to be held from 26 - 29 May, 2014

PGECET is a common entrance test conducted for admission into post graduate courses in Engineering M.E.,M.Tech, Architecture (M.Arch), Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and graduate level Pharm-D. The examination for the year 2014-2015 will be conducted by University College of Engineering, Osmania University for Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Programme

PGECET is for admission to different subject streams - M.E. or M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, Architecture (M.Arch) and planning, bio-medical Engineering, Bio-technology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Environment management, Food Technology, Geo Engineering & Geo Informatics, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Nano-Technology and Pharmacy (M.Pharm).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have an aggregate of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PH) in the qualifying examination i.e. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Pharmacy, as the case may be.

Candidates should be Indian Nationals. They should either be domiciled or belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The criteria for same are laid down in the regulations of admission.

Exam pattern and syllabus

The examination will consist of 120 questions, each carrying one mark. Test will be for two hours. The test paper will follow multiple choice questions pattern. Visit the PGECET 2014 exam pattern for details.

The examination will be held in two sessions i.e. morning and afternoon session.

Exam centres

The test will be held only in state of Andhra Pradesh with regional centres in Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Tirupathi, Warangal, Guntur, Anantapur. Get further details on the PGECET 2014 exam centres.

Application procedure

Candidates can apply only through online mode. The application fee for the test is Rs. 500 for candidates belonging to general category and Rs. 250 in case of those belonging to reserved category.

NRI/Management Seats: 15% of the seats are reserved for NRI/Management quota

Mode of Entrance Test: The AICET-2014 will be of three hours duration containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs)

Ø       Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer option

Ø       Each correct answer will be awarded one mark

Ø       There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers

Ø       The Medium of Examinations will be English

Eligibility for AICET 2014 by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth:

The candidate must be an Indian National

MBBS, BDS: 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English and minimum of 50% of marks)

B.Sc (Nursing): 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English and minimum of 45% of marks)

BPT: 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English)

B.Pharm: 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology; or Physics, Chemistry, Maths)

How to Apply:

Application Form: A candidate who desire to appear for All India Common Entrance Test of this Vidyapeeth will required to submit an application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the documents in support of application

Ø       The application will also be available online

Ø       While submitting the application it should be with all necessary documents along with demand draft of Rs 600/- in favor of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara as the cost of an application form

Entrance Test Fee: The entrance test fee is Rs.1500/-

Ø       The fee is payable by cash or demand draft, drawn in favour of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth of nationalized/ schedule bank, payable at Vadodara

Ø       The candidate should write his/her name and address on the back side of the demand draft

Ø       The last date of receipt of completed application form along with requisite documents and entrance test fee at the office of Register, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Piparia upto 6.00 p.m. on 22nd May, 2014 (with late fee of Rs 500/-) up to on 26th May, 2014

Ø       It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his/her application reaches the office of the Registrar, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth within the specified time and date

Hall Ticket: Hall Tickets carrying photograph of the candidate shall be issued to the candidates who is eligible to appear for the entrance test, for this purpose the candidate must submit two copy of recent passport size photograph (not more than three months old) along with the application form

Ø       They should write their name on the back side of the photograph

Ø       The Hall Ticket will be dispatched to the candidate by registered/courier/speed post

Ø       Selection Procedure for AICET 2014 by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth:

Ø       The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidate taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his/her choice when it is his/her turn for counselling

Ø       An access to Laptop is mandatory requirement for selected/admitted students

Declaration of Result: The result of the All India Common Entrance Test-2014 in the form of merit list arranged according to the marks obtained by the candidates will be declared at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth office and on website 

Documents: The attested copies of the following documents must be submitted along with application form for entrance test and originals should be submitted at the time of admission; birth certificate/school leaving certificate; SSC/equivalent examination mark statement and certificate; HSC/equivalent examination marksheet (if already passed) or at the time of counseling; Bonafide certificate from the principal of the School

Gujarat Common Entrance Test, GUJCET – 2014

Applications for, have are invited for admission for all Degree Engineering, Diploma / Degree Pharmacy as well as Medical Course in Gujarat State for 2014 session. 

The Educational Department, Government of Gujarat Vide Government Resolution No. PVSH-012002-2464-S, date 28-7-2005 and GR of even number date 12-1-2006 has decided to conducted Common Entrance Test for admission to Degree Engineering, Diploma/Degree Pharmacy as well as Medical Course after Std. XII Science Stream

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has been assigned to hold the Common Entrance Test

This year Gujarat State Education Board will hold Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2014 (GUJCET 2014) in the 01st week of April 2014

Eligibility criteria:

Applicants must have passed the Intermediate Science stream examination with 60% marks from a recognized board.

How to apply:

1.     Candidates must download the application form from the official website.

2.     Fill the application form in prescribed format along with required documents.

3.     Submit the form before the last date to the given address:

Application Fees:

Rs 250 to be submitted with the application form in the form of a demand draft.
Paper Pattern:

The medium of instruction is English. The examination consists of 160 objective types of questions and there are multiple types of questions. The entire examination is divided into 4 parts, parts 1 consist of questions from Physics and the entire duration is approximate 60 minutes. The total number of questions asked as 40 in total. Part 2 consists of questions from Biology and the entire duration is approximate 60 minutes. Part 3 consists of questions from chemistry and the duration is similar to that of physics and biology.

There is no negative marking applicable in these entrance test examinations.
