Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC)

Candidates must have studied the compulsory subjects- Physics and Maths along with one of the optional subjects- Chemistry, Bio-technology, Biology or Computer Science.

National Power Training Institute (NPTI) was established in the year 1975 which is the top most college among all other regional institutes. This institute has been set up by MINISTRY OF POWER. Applications are invited from eligible candidates to apply to the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) 2014 to be held from 26 - 29 May, 2014

PGECET is a common entrance test conducted for admission into post graduate courses in Engineering M.E.,M.Tech, Architecture (M.Arch), Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and graduate level Pharm-D. The examination for the year 2014-2015 will be conducted by University College of Engineering, Osmania University for Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Osmania University is one of the oldest universities in India and well known for its academic excellence. It has been ranked as one of the top universities in India according to India Today.

Please note that preference will be given first to GATE qualified candidates for admission to these PG courses. PGECET is for admission to different subject streams - M.E. or M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, Architecture (M.Arch) and planning, bio-medical Engineering, Bio-technology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Environment management, Food Technology, Geo Engineering & Geo Informatics, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Nano-Technology and Pharmacy (M.Pharm).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have an aggregate of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PH) in the qualifying examination i.e. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Pharmacy, as the case may be.

Candidates should be Indian Nationals. They should either be domiciled or belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The criteria for same are laid down in the regulations of admission.

Exam pattern and syllabus

The examination will consist of 120 questions, each carrying one mark. Test will be for two hours. The test paper will follow multiple choice questions pattern. Visit the PGECET 2014 exam pattern for details.

The examination will be held in two sessions i.e. morning and afternoon session.

Paper Pattern:

The medium of instruction is English. The examination consists of 160 objective types of questions and there are multiple types of questions. The entire examination is divided into 4 parts, parts 1 consist of questions from Physics and the entire duration is approximate 60 minutes. The total number of questions asked as 40 in total. Part 2 consists of questions from Biology and the entire duration is approximate 60 minutes. Part 3 consists of questions from chemistry and the duration is similar to that of physics and biology.

There is no negative marking applicable in these entrance test examinations.

The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2014 is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), and is the annual examination for entrance to MBA and MCA programmes in Andhra Pradesh. It will be conducted on Friday, May 23, 2014, by Kakatiya University, Warangal. It is the fourth time that Kakatiya University is conducting this examination for admission into MBA and MCA courses (full time/part-time/distance mode) in 23 universities in Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you should be a graduate in any discipline from a course with a minimum three years duration, from a recognized university. In case you belong to a reserved category, you need a minimum aggregate of 45%. Otherwise, your minimum should be 50%, overall. If you are applying for admission into the MCA programme, the eligibility criteria are the same, but you should also have studied Mathematics as a core subject in the 10+2 level. If you are appearing for your final degree examination, you are also eligible to appear for ICET 2014.

Exam pattern and syllabus

The examination is 2.5 hours (150 minutes) long, and there will be 200 questions. There are three sections in the examination: Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability.

You should bring a Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black) to write the ICET 2014, it being a pen-paper test.

Selection will be based on this, as candidates will be short listed based on their performance in ICET's examination. If you are short listed, you will have to participate in the common counseling process, which is conducted by APSCHE.

Dates of All India Management Association's (AIMA's) Management Aptitude Test (MAT) exam for May 2014 has been declared.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.

Eligibility:

Graduates in any discipline can apply. Final year students can also apply.

How to apply:

1.     Candidates can register online or in person.

2.     Candidates can register online at website. Candidates can pay with credit card or debit card (link will function from first week of March)

3.     Candidates can also get crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200 in favour of 'All India Management Association' payable at Delhi from any Bank. Then, register online at website along with the DD details.

4.     Candidates can also get form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200 from listed Nodal Centres of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi.

Indo-German Training Centre, Mumbai established in 1991 followed by the IGTC, Chennai in 2005 and the IGTC, Bangalore in 2008

It is a training wing of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) that conducts business administration programs to nurture existing and future managerial talent for the IGCC member companies. 

Functions in close coordination with IGCC member companies to periodically assess and understand the training needs and to provide training solutions.

Fully air-conditioned, WiFi enabled training facility with a well-equipped library and membership to the British Council Library in Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore, and the Indian Merchants’ Chamber Library in Mumbai.

Cumulative strength of 140 trainees can be accommodated for training across the four centres (50 in Mumbai, 30 each in Chennai and Bangalore) and are made readily employable for the industry.

Application Procedure
Students can download the application form from website. The cost of the application form and prospectus is Rs. 1000/-.  Payments are accepted in cash or demand draft drawn in favour of the ‘Indo-German Training Centre’. 

Program Fee 
The program fee is Rs. 2,25,000/- plus service tax 
Every student is expected to carry his/ her own laptop throughout the program, for effective learning during theoretical as well as practical training phases.
