Eligibility:

·         Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline of minimum three years duration with CGPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 60% marks in case of Open/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates in the qualifying degree. Whereas in case of SC/ST candidates, a CGPI of 6.0 on a 10-Point scale (or equivalent) or 55% marks in qualifying degree shall be applicable.

A candidate seeking admission for the Post Graduate Programme should have passed the full time (not by correspondence or part time) Graduate degree examination in Science (12th+3yearsdegreeentire5years in science only) with Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics Microbiology or Biochemistry as the main subject or one of them as second subject in the three year degree or Agriculture / Food Science/ Polymer Science or Engineering / Technology degree of a AICTE/ recognised University with minimum second class. How to Apply:

STEP 1: Written Examination

A candidate seeking admission to the PGDP Course will be required to appear in the written Entrance Examination which will comprise of multiple choice questions. The syllabus for the written test is at the graduate level and the subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering. The candidate has the option to choose questions, provided the number of questions does not exceed a xed limit. The entrance examination will be conducted on 10/07/2020 at Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderad and Ahmedabad centers of the Institute. The Institute has the discretion to x minimum qualifying marks for the examination and short list the candidates who will be eligible for further consideration for admission.

Application for admission to the course needs to be submitted on or before 21/07/2020 along with attested copies of mark sheets and other credentials. Application form, Prospectus and Syllabus can be obtained from 1^st week of January, 2020 from any center by paying Rs. 500 in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Indian Institute of Packaging payable at Mumbai or Kolkata or Delhi or Chennai or Hyderabad or Ahmedabad The forms can also be downloaded from the IIP website. STEP 2: Personal Interview

Candidates, who clear the written examination as above, will be called for Personal Interview which will be held at the Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Hyderabad centers of the Institute. The Institute has the discretion to x minimum qualifying marks for Personal Interview which will make a candidate eligible for further consideration for admission. The Final selection of candidates for admission to the course will be done in the order of their merit which will be based on the aggregate of marks calculated in each case according to the following weightage:

(i) Marks obtained in 10th Class/Matriculation: 10%

(ii) Marks obtained in 12th Class/Sr. Secondary: 10%

(iii) Marks obtained in Graduation level: 30%

(iv) Marks obtained in the Entrance Examination: 30%

(v) Marks obtained in Personal Interview: 20%

Display of 1st list will be based on the 1st round cut-off. The 2nd list display is on the basis of 2nd round cut-off. Further lists will be displayed on the availability of seats when necessary.

The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) was established by the Government of India in 1969. Located at Mysuru, CIIL functions as a subordinate office for the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education. In about five decades of its existence, CIIL has emerged as a premier Institute for the development of all Indian languages. It is recognised within and outside the country for carrying out and supporting extensive research and publication on Indian languages. Course Name:

Diploma in Language Education (DLE)

Duration: 10-month

Eligibility:

General:

i.              The applicant should not have any formal degree, native/nativised proficiency or informal knowledge in the language applied for.

ii.             The applicants should not have been trained in any of the languages at the Regional Language Centres or have discontinued or have been terminated from the RLCs.

iii.            The applicants can select a language from the list provided in Table 1.

iv.           The applicants should select the language they want to learn carefully as change in the language choice is not permissible after joining the course.

v.            Preference of language should be clearly mentioned in the application. Otherwise, seats will be allotted according to the vacancies available in the Regional Language Centres.

vi.           The applicants opting for Urdu language should clearly specify the name of the Regional Language Centre viz., NRLC, Patiala / UTRC, Lucknow / UTRC, Solan otherwise the seats will be allotted according to the vacancies available in the three Regional Language Centres.

vii.          If a candidate is selected in a particular year and if they have not reported to the language training, their candidature will not be considered for next 3 years.

viii.         He/she must be below 45 years of age as on 1st July 2020. Age relaxation will be given only for In-service Teachers at the discretion of the selection committee

ix.           It should be noted that English, Hindi and Sanskrit languages are not taught in the 10- month Diploma in Language Education.

How to Apply:

i.              Applicants must download and send the hard copy of the application in the prescribed form which is available in the Institute’s website: www.ciil.org/ltp.aspx along with a crossed demand draft for. Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only). Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘MHRD HIGHER CAS CLG’ payable at New Delhi. The application must reach the Institute before the due date. There is no need to send an advance copy.

ii.             In-service teachers must submit their application through proper channel duly certified and forwarded by the Headmaster of the School and BEO/DEO/BDO/CEO/EO/DPI/ DDPI/ ZEO/BSA/Inspector of schools.

iii.            Teachers from Government/Fully Government-aided schools must produce their last pay certificate indicating details such as basic pay, scale of pay, DA, ADA, HRA, CCA, date of increment etc. If the pay is revised during the period of training, the applicant must produce the revised pay certificate with allowances. If deputation allowance or any other special allowance is permissible to be paid during the training period, this may also be mentioned in the last pay certificate.

iv.           The Centres do not pay employer’s contribution under the scheme of Contributory Fund. Applicants must make necessary arrangements for this.

v.            Prospective teachers/research scholars and general public must submit their applications directly to the Director, CIIL along with supporting documents. Besides this, PhD pursuing scholars must also attach a “No Objection Certificate” from their University and their applications should be forwarded by their Guides.

vi.           The reservation of seats belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories is available as per the Constitutional provision. The applicants may avail this, if eligible.

vii.          All applicants must submit a certificate of fitness issued by a Medical Officer stating that the concerned applicant is physically fit and can sustain food and environmental conditions of the place of training. This may be sent along with the application form.

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is one of the oldest and most distinguished universities of the sub-continent. Financial assistance

Full-time PhD students admitted into the PhD programme are eligible to be considered for an Institute fellowship of Rs. 28,000/- or 31,000/- per month in the first year based on their intake qualifications. Students admitted with M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm./MBA/M.Phil. or a Degree equivalent to the Higher Degree of BITS Pilani are eligible to receive an Institute fellowship of Rs. 31,000/-. Students admitted with M.Sc./B.E./B.Pharm. or an equivalent degree are eligible to receive an Institute fellowship of Rs. 28,000/-. These students on successful completion of coursework will receive Rs. 31,000/- from the Semester following the one in which the course work is completed. Higher fellowship will be made available in subsequent years. Consideration for Institute fellowship will be as per Institute norms. It will be obligatory on the part of every admitted Full time student to undertake 8 to 10 hours (per week) of work as assigned to him/her by the institute.

3.    Candidates will need to register online prior to filling the application form. A registered mobile number and email ID will be required to generate a username and password essential for filling the application form.

4.    While filling the application form online, candidates are required to give preferences of the campus or campuses to which they wish to apply for. Please refer to Department openings with regard to Full and Part-time student admission prior to filling the application form.

7.    A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2600/- is payable at the time of submission of the online form.

Minimum qualification for admission to MBA programme is Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. If the Bachelor’s degree is done through distance mode then the affiliated institute & the university must be within the same state. Such candidate should produce Bonafide Certificate & Fee Receipt at the time of registration at AIMK. Candidates, who would be completing all requirements for bachelor’s degree by 30 June, can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally and will be required to produce evidence to establish their eligibility by 31 August. Those, failing to comply with the above criteria, will have to withdraw from the programme. 

AIMK Eligibility Criteria

Candidates, who appeared in CAT would be called for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI ). Two separate (one for Army and another for General) merit lists of the students will be prepared for GD & PI. The same is to be sent to the Chairman for approval. After approval, students of the merit list will be intimated individually. 

Eligibility for Army Categories

The admission to the AWES Professional Colleges is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel, eligible ex-Army personnel and war widows of the Army. The children of following categories of Army personnel are eligible and they are required to submit the relevant certificate as given against the category applicable to them as proof of their eligibility for admission to AWES Professional Colleges along with the Application Form

How to Apply:

Application Form

Candidates desirous of seeking admission to AIM, Kolkata can obtain the Application Form for MBA programme either from the AIM, Kolkata website www.aim.ac.in or from the Admission Office, AIM, Kolkata by hand. Candidates, who are willing to take the application forms from the Admission Office, need to pay Rs 500/- for Army wards and Rs 600/- for General category in cash. A demand draft for Rs 500/- for Army wards and Rs 600/- for General category, in favour of 'Director AIM' payable at Kolkata, will be deposited by the applicants who are submitting the application form, downloaded from the website. The application form will be submitted on the assigned date as suggested by Admission Authority. Rs 200/- will be added as late fee, if the application is submitted after the assigned date.

N.B. The above-mentioned fees are non-refundable 

Group Discussion / Personal Interview (GD/PI)

Candidates who qualify in CAT will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Kolkata on merit basis. Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses and arrange for their own boarding and lodging. The list of shortlisted candidates is usually published in the website during 2nd week of February every year. The GD&PI is generally conducted during the 2nd week of March at Kolkata. The exact dates will be published on the website and will be communicated individually through call letters. Candidates are required to check into the Institute's website for dates of GD/PI and they must not wait for call letters. The candidates will have to produce their CAT admit card for GD/PI.

Selection

Selected Candidates will be intimated who will be required to pay online a sum of Rs 60,000/- through SBI-Collect as acceptance of offer along with the willingness certificate. Detailed method to be followed will be intimated through email & letter. The amount will be adjusted against the tuition fees, which has to be paid at the time of registration including fees of first semester once the candidate is admitted.

A candidate desirous of admission to MBA program should:

·         Be a graduate from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).

·         Students currently in the final year of their graduation and confident of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks may also apply for the MBA courses. Admission committee may give more weightage to higher marks in graduation.

·         It is imperative that the candidate should have taken at least one exam out of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or MH-CET. MAT exams held after in Sep 2019 to Mar 2020 will be considered for admission to academic year 2020-22. We believe that true talent cannot be judged on the basis of the score granted by any entrance exam. Hence, we do not have a cut off score below which if the candidate scores cannot apply to the program.

·         For joining the Executive Batch, the applicant should have a minimum of 2 years industry experience, as a full-time employee in a Company and should be able to support that with relevant documents.

* The GD & PI and Essay writing will be conducted at the following centres available on website. A candidate can choose any centre of his/her choice during the application process.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

WRITTEN EXAMINATION

We accept management examination test scores such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/MAH-CET test scores. However, as management examination test scores are issued to the students, any student who has appeared for the management examination test examinations can apply for our courses . Thus, all the four Management institutes will accept management examination test scores. However, the management examination test and scores will be equalized and validated to the CAT score value and that will only be counted for the purpose of merit list. It is not necessary that these scores should be attached to the Application form at this stage. These scores sheets can be dispatched so as to reach us latest by 28th March 2020. Anyone having any objection to the same, need not apply. We do not believe in any cut-off points as we give only 35% of the weightage for the entrance examination while making the merit list.

GROUP DISCUSSIONS

Candidates who fulfill the qualitative requirements will be called for the Group Discussions by experts. This will be for a duration of 30-45 minutes per group. This may include role play, case studies, and extempore speech and GD. 35% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process. Therefore the GD process may extend to the second day although all efforts will be made to complete the process in one day. This is an elimination round.

Essay Writing as integral part of interview process. Written Communication Skill is very important for any one to succeed in the industry. Therefore, the applicants will be required to appear for an essay writing exercise on a subject, which will be given on the spot in the selection centres. This will be for 30 marks and fifty percent of the marks will be counted . This essay writing will be for half an hour. The topics will be general in nature and any one who follows the National Newspapers can easily appear for the same and score good marks.

PERSONAL INTERVIEWS

This expert panel interview and the essay marks will carry 30% of the weightage . This panel will assess the candidates on various parameters including the suitability of the candidate for a particular specialization. The panel will also give opportunity to the applicants to add or delete course options.
