Application of candidates (vide Part-A of the Online Application Form, duly filled in) should be submitted on or before July 03, 2020 (11:00 am). The candidates fulfilling the candidates of eligibility will be invited for the selection process by IIMV, under intimation to NeGD/MeitY, GoI.

Applicants will be short-listed based on their performance in CAT / GMAT / GATE / GRE / IIMV Test, as chosen by the candidate; evaluation of SOP, technical knowledge and domain experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal interview.

At the time of the interview, currently employed candidates will be required to produce “No Objection Certificate”. This Clearance (vide Part-B of the Application Form) from the Cadre Controlling Authority concerned would be an essential pre-requisite for all applicants from Central/State Government Departments/Organizations, for admission into the Program. Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for admission into the Program are as follows:

·         The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum 55% marks or equivalent) that has been recognized by an authorized body in India. The Bachelor's degree obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent.

·         The applicant must have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience as on May 29, 2020 at an officer/executive level or higher; as a professional or as an entrepreneur. Part time work experience, clerical (non-officer/ non-executive) experience and apprenticeship will not be considered as eligible work experience.

·         Applicants require a valid CAT, GMAT, GATE or GRE score to be considered for admission.

I. CAT score validity: Not more than two years old as on 29/5/2020

II. GATE score validity: Not more than three years old as on 29/5/2020

III. GMAT/GRE score validity: Not more than five years old as on 29/5/2020

Alternatively, applicants also can choose to apply for PGPEx by opting to take the IIMV Test.

·         The application form for admission to PGPEx (2020-22), will be available at https://admissions.iimv.ac.in/pgpex/

·         A non-refundable application fee of INR 1000/- is to be submitted along with the application. SC, ST, PwD, Women applicants are totally exempt from paying the application fee. NC-OBC and EWS applicants are required to pay 50% of the fee viz. INR 500/-.

·         Candidates those opting to appear for the IIMV Test will have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 1000/- in addition to the application fee. There is no discount for any category of applicant in the IIMV Test fee.

·         Application fee and IIMV Test fee (both non-refundable) as mentioned above, should be paid on-line through the ‘Online Fee Payment’ SBI link in the Institute’s website.

·         This link will also be available in the admissions page for PGPEx.

·         The venue for IIMV Test will be IIM Visakhapatnam campus (only) and at no other City/Centre in India or abroad. IIMV Test will be a paper-and-pencil based test and not a computer-based test.

·         Applicants are required to ensure that the following documents are submitted along with the application form. It is emphasized that the application form will be considered to have been completed only upon submission of all the following documents. Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM)

Eligibility:

The admission process seeks to identify the most promising candidates for the PGP batch of 2019 for IIMV. IIMV uses multiple parameters, namely academic performance in 10th standard examination, 12th standard examination and Bachelor’s degree examination, candidates’ scores in CAT, as well as performance in Personal Interview and Written Ability Test to judge the suitability of candidates for the PGP program. Relevant work experience, if any, is also given weight in the selection. Evaluation by multiple criteria is also consistent with empirical research on recruitment and selection that shows greater efficacy of recruitment processes that uses multiple criteria. The CAT score, over and above being a selection criterion, is also used to establish the minimum level of proficiency that is expected from the candidate in respective areas as indicated by section wise minimum scores in the CAT. Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) [Areas of Specializations: Finance & Accounting, Production & Operations Management]

Eligibility:

Candidates should have

•      A Master's Degree (bachelor’s degree obtained in 10+2+3 pattern, followed by a master’s degree) or a Post Graduate Diploma (2 years) in any discipline, with at least 55*# percent marks in the bachelor’s as well in the master’s degrees.

(OR)

•      A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 50*# percent marks and B.Com/Degree with 55* percent marks

(OR)

•      A 4 year / 8 semesters Bachelor's degree (10+2+4 pattern) with atleast 6.5 CGPAor equivalent.

*The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution. If any University/institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA, and multiplying the result with 100.

# Five percent marks relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates.

The above qualification should be from any of the Universities, or other educational institutions, incorporated by an act of the Parliament or State legislature in India; or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956; or, recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying Programmes that would make them eligible can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a certificate latest by July 31, 2019** from the Principal / Head of the Department / Registrar or Director of the University / Institute (issued on or before July 31 ,2019)** stating that they have appeared for the examinations (including practical examinations) in all the subjects required for obtaining the Master's / Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification. Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the mark sheet and the certificate of having passed the Master's / Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification referred to in the certificate issued by Principal / Registrar of their college / Institute. The deadline for submission of marks sheet and the Certificate is December 31, 2019**. Please note that those candidates who have applied on the basis of their Master's degree will have to meet the 55% marks stipulation, and those who have applied on the basis of their bachelor's degree (10+2+4 pattern) will have to meet the 6.5 CGPA or equivalent stipulation. Non-fulfillment of these conditions will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

Selection

Based on the information provided by the applicants, selected candidates will be shortlisted (on the recommendation of the respective areas) and called to Visakhapatnam for an interview (see FPM 2019 Areawise Admissions Process for details).

Interviews are expected to be held in the first week of May 2019**.

Candidates will be admitted to the programme based on a combination of multiple parameters, as specified by the respective areas. Parameters may include applicant's performance in GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET) score, past academic performance, interview performance etc.

Candidates selected for admission are required to attend an Orientation and Preparatory Programme which is expected to be scheduled during last week of June 2019**. Registration for the programme will be in the last week of June 2019**.

GITAM School of International Business (GSIB) (formerly known as GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade) was established in 1997 with an affiliation to Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. Eligibility:

Any Graduate (after 10+2) from a recognized University with 50% Marks or Second Class or equivalent CGPA is eligible to apply. Those awaiting results of Final Year Degree examinations may also apply. However, if proof of graduation is not submitted by 10th September 2019, their admission will be automatically cancelled without refund of fee.

Mathematics/ Statistics/Commerce/ Computer Application/ Economics/Business Administration/ Engineering/Technology at Under Graduate level or Post Graduate level is Compulsory for admission into PGDBA

Valid test scores in CAT-2018 / XAT-2019 / MAT – (Sep-2018, Dec-2018, Feb-2019 and May-2019) / GET'19 (GSIB Entrance Test 2019) / NMAT/GMAT/CMAT – 1st & 2nd tests.

Selection process

Selection process shall include GET’19 or a valid test score and Group Discussion & Personal Interview which will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram/Bengaluru/ Chennai/ Hyderabad/ Visakhapatnam/ Bhubaneswar/ Raipur /Ranchi/Patna/ Kolkata / Guwahati/ Lucknow/ Delhi/ Mumbai). GSIB reserves the right to add or delist any center(s).Applicants with a valid test score can avail Online mode through Skype for giving their Micro Presentation & Personal Interview. Slots are available from October, 2018 to February, 2019 on every Saturday between 10 am to 4 pm (excluding holidays)

How to Apply:
