Graduates in any discipline with 50% minimum marks from any university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities are eligible. Candidates in their final year of graduation may also apply. Having Work Experience is not a requirement for admission to the program, however candidates with work experience are welcome.

Entrance Test Score Submission

ITM uses standardized management entrance test scores as a part of its overall selection process. Candidates are not selected/disqualified on the basis of their test scores only. The test score is just one part of an overall candidate profile.

The following test scores are accepted:

·       CAT (Common Admission Test)

·       XAT (Xavier's Admission Test)

·       GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test)

·       MAT ( Management Aptitude Test)

Submit an attested copy of your Test Score Card along with the application form. If you have not received your test score, give details of Test Registration Number, Test Centre Code, etc.

Note: ITM uses the CAT score for short-listing candidates called for Group Discussions/Personal Interview. IIM's have no role in selection or in conducting the program.

Scholarships and Financial Aid:  ITM Business School awards a limited number of scholarships/assistantships for exceptional students who are financially challenged. These range from a tuition fee waiver of 25% to 100%, often in exchange for on-campus employment as research assistants, administrative assistants, event managers etc.

Candidates seeking a Scholarship award must submit their applications. The Admissions Committee awards scholarships at its sole discretion, selecting candidates based on the criteria mentioned below (see Selection Process). Additional weight age is often, but not always given to candidates with 2+ years work experience, previous Masters level education (non-Business), and financial condition of the candidate and his family.

Selection Process:  The Admissions Committee for the PGDM program consists of the Chairman of Admissions, The Chairman of ITM Trust and the individual Directors of each ITM PGDM Campus.

Note: No Capitation or donations are accepted for the PGBM (or any ITM program) under any circumstances. There are no seat quotas for ethnic minorities and no payment category. Selection to the ITM PGDM program is based exclusively on the candidates merit and the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

Selection into the ITM PGDM program at all Campuses is conducted centrally through ITM Navi Mumbai.

Group Discussion/Personal Interview:  Several Group Discussion & Personal Interview sessions will be conducted starting in February 2016. For selected candidates, the intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail.

The selection criteria for calling candidates for Group Discussion & Personal Interviews and final admissions are based on multiple factors as follows:

ü        Past academic performance

ü        Quality & content of the answers in the application form

ü        Work experience, if any, in terms of job content & organization

ü        Group Discussion & Interview performance

ü        Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments

ü        CAT/XAT/GMAT score

ü        A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be called for interview/group discussion and offered final admission. CAT/XAT/GMAT score is NOT the only criteria for selection in ITM.

ü        A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.

Common Admission Test (CAT)

All applicants desirous of seeking admission in PGDFM at IIFM, Bhopal have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) by responding to their notification published in leading national dailies. IIFM will use the CAT score only for short-listing the candidates for two year full time post graduate programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

Reservation

27%, 15%, 7.5% and 3% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the OBC-Non-Creamy, SC, ST, and PD respectively, provided they meet the minimum selection criteria as specified by IIFM.

KARNATAKA BIOTECHNOLOGY APTITUDE TEST (KBAT) for admission of students to Biotechnology Finishing Schools (BTFS) for post graduate diploma. The fast growing biotechnology sector in Karnataka has been facing severe shortage of industry-ready graduates and post-graduates for a long time. In an effort to fulfill the needs of the industry, the Karnataka government in association with the Vision Group, ABLE and Industry representatives has developed a mechanism to provide employment opportunities in the sector. In the Millennium Biotech Policy-II, the Government of Karnataka initiated establishment of finishing school program across the state. Twelve BTFS host institutions have been established in Karnataka with appropriate course content and duration to equip graduates and post-graduates with necessary employable skills and to make them industry ready. All 12 BTFS institutions will be commencing their courses from October 2016. Applications are invited from interested students across India for admission into post-graduate diploma in specialized areas of biotechnology for the academic session 2016-17. Admissions will be through an online entrance test followed by an interview. The overall progress of BTFS program is frequently monitored by the BTFS-Monitoring committee (BTFS-MC) comprising of leading scientists from academia & industry. Humanities & Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE 2017) is conducted by IIT, Madras for taking admission to integrated M.A in Development Studies and integrated M.A in English studies programs for the session 2017. HSEE will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2017. The program has been designed to expose students to many ideas and perspectives. The students choose their streams after experiencing the competing fields and subjects during the first two years. Specialization begins in the third year.The program has a total of 46 seats; each stream will have 23 seats.

Eligibility Criteria for HSEE 2017:

Candidates applying for HSEE-2017 must have passed for the first time in 2016 or should be appearing in 2017 in any one of the following qualifying examinations (QE):

·         The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

·         Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a Board or University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

·         Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.

·         Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.

·         Any Public School, Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

·         Candidates must pay the examination fee as applicable is through net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ Indian bank challan that will be generated during the process of application.

·         The examination fee for all other categories is Rs. 2200/-. Additionally, the service charges of the bank will be Rs.30/-.

Paper Pattern for HSEE 2017:

·         HSEE-2017 examination is of three hours duration and has two parts.

·         Part I consists of objective type multiple choice questions for 2½ hours duration (150 minutes), administered through computer.

·         Part II involves essay writing for 30 minutes to be written on answer sheet distributed to the candidates at the end of part I.

·         Part I covers the following topics: English and Comprehension Skill; Analytical and Quantitative Ability; General Studies covering the areas of Indian Economics (since Independence), Indian Society, Contemporary World Affairs (post-World War II); and (iv) Environment and Ecology.

·         Part II requires the candidate to write an essay on general topic involving description, or/and reflection or/and discussion.

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), has been constituted as a non profit organization with the express objective of engaging in activities for the promotion of education, training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. The Knowledge Park Centre of C-DAC, Bangalore is the 2nd of C-DAC centres to be established in 1989 and has been concentrating on various aspects of hardware and software development. The range of technologies includes High Performance Computing and Grid Computing with GARUDA, the national grid initiative and as the nodal agency for the ambitious countrywide grid linking all the PARAM platforms as well as other resources from the academia, with a host of applications.
