5.    A candidate can register for the Entrance Examination 2019 on filling the basic information along with educational qualification details and further payment of fees for the Entrance Examination, candidate can generate Registration Confirmation. A copy of the same will be forwarded to the candidate's registered Email ID.

6.    Admit Card with allotted Roll No., Exam Time and Location for appearing the Entrance Examination 2019 will be E-mailed to candidate between 24 July to 27 July 2019 on his/her registered Email ID.

ii.             Candidates must produce the mark sheet of the final examination in original with minimum marks referred above under eligibility, before 30th September 2019 or within the extended time (not beyond 15th October 2019) ,which may be given by the University on the written request of the student giving reasons for non-production of the mark sheet of the final examination. University reserves the right to deny the request of the student.

iii.            Mid-Term examination result of such candidates shall not be declared.

iv.           If condition No’s. (i) and (ii) referred above in this paragraph are not fulfilled, the provisional admission shall stand automatically cancelled and the University shall have no obligation to give any notice before such cancellation.

How to Apply:

Application may be submitted from the date of Web Notification. Last date for applications shall be 15th June, 2019.First ranking list shall be published by 20th June, 2019 with waiting list of five candidates. Selected candidates shall be required to deposit the fees by 25th June, 2019. If any candidate from the main list does not deposit fees and complete the admission process by 25th June, 2019 then he/she will lose the opportunity of being admitted thereafter and the vacant seat shall be fulfilled from the waiting list. Nidhi Dube from the Indian Institute of Craft and Design wrote to me to introduce Tejas Soni and his experiments with the Dhokra craft. Dhokra is an ancient craft practised by nomadic tribes who have since settled into parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa and parts of southern India. One of the earliest known pieces found was the Bronze dancing girl at Mohenjadaro. The craft is practised by both men and women and the objects are cast in metal using what is known as the lost wax process. Today it features more as a exotic buy rather than a relevant ingredient in our daily lives as it was in the ancient times when religious figures, jewellery, diyas, animal figurines and vessels were essential in many homes.

Filling the Application Form

The application has to be filled up online at: https://www.iicd.ac.in/admission.php.

Application form will be accepted only if all the required fields in the online application form are filled up and the attachments are properly uploaded within acceptable criteria as mentioned below. If the application is properly filled up and payment is properly done, the applicant will receive the confirmation email with payment reference id. If the email is not received the applicant is requested to contact to the admissions@iicd.ac.in with the bank statement / card transaction proof. In case, the uploaded documents are not within acceptable limits, the candidate will receive an email to resend the documents in the acceptable format, after that the application will be processed.

Admission Process Fee

The Admission process fee for Indian Candidates is Rs.1,500/- (Rs. One Thousand Five Hundred only) and for NRI/ Foreign National Candidates is Rs. 3000/- (Rs. Three Thousand only). This fee is non refundable.

Scholarship Scheme

·         Scholarship will be given to students on the basis of the following criteria: AIEED result, Performance in past qualification, Interview + Portfolio, Income of the family, Ward of a single parent, Servicemen, Craftsmen or artisan etc.

Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Jaipur (formerly known as Indian Institute of Health Management Research), was founded in 1984. Ph.D in Hospital, Health, Pharmaceutical Management Development Studies and related areas

Eligibility:

Candidates for admission to the Ph D. programme shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s or MPhil degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.

A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (noncreamy layer)/Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per UGC Guidelines from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark.

Admission Process

The admission process will include three steps: screening of applications, IIHMR Research Aptitude Test (IRAT) and personal interview.

IIHMR Research Aptitude Test (IRAT)

The IIHMR University will conduct a qualifying test after screening of applications and short-listing candidates. IRAT will be a written test consisting of multiple choice questions from English language proficiency, reasoning, basic quantitative analysis and research aptitude. Admission to the Research Degree program shall be subject to the fulfilment of the minimum cut-off marks as prescribed from time to time by UGC. Final selection for admission shall be made on the basis of the merit of the composite score.

Exemption from IRAT: The following categories will be exempted from the written IRAT: UGC CSIR qualified JRF & NET, SLET, GATE and Teacher Research Fellowship holder and have passed M Phil programme in relevant subjects.

Personal Interview

Personal interview will be conducted on the day of IRAT or next day after IRAT at the IIHMR University, Jaipur. All categories of candidates will be required to appear in the Personal Interview. at the time of interview the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation.
