Eligibility:

1.    Candidate who has passed an engineering degree/ a graduate degree programme with at least one paper in mathematics/statistics and have scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university/institution are eligible to apply.

Relaxation of 10% in marks to SC/ ST/PWD candidates shall be given in eligibility criteria.

Those who are appearing in final semester examination may also apply, provided that they submit the proof of eligibility by 30/9/2019.

1. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

Candidate must have Minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline including B.E./B.Tech. from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

A relaxation of 5% marks for academic qualification shall be given to candidates belonging to reserve categories.

2. QUALIFYING TEST

The candidate must have appeared in CAT or MAT or CMAT 2018-2019 and scored minimum

Candidates perusing final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply but on selection they shall be given provisional admission subject to the following conditions:

i.              Such candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in pre- final examination with passing back paper(s), if any in previous semesters / years.

ii.             Candidates must produce the mark sheet of the final examination in original with minimum marks referred above under eligibility, before 30th September 2019 or within the extended time (not beyond 15th October 2019) ,which may be given by the University on the written request of the student giving reasons for non-production of the mark sheet of the final examination. University reserves the right to deny the request of the student.

iii.            Mid-Term examination result of such candidates shall not be declared.

iv.           If condition No’s. (i) and (ii) referred above in this paragraph are not fulfilled, the provisional admission shall stand automatically cancelled and the University shall have no obligation to give any notice before such cancellation.

How to Apply:

Application may be submitted from the date of Web Notification. Last date for applications shall be 15th June, 2019.First ranking list shall be published by 20th June, 2019 with waiting list of five candidates. Selected candidates shall be required to deposit the fees by 25th June, 2019. If any candidate from the main list does not deposit fees and complete the admission process by 25th June, 2019 then he/she will lose the opportunity of being admitted thereafter and the vacant seat shall be fulfilled from the waiting list. SCB Channel

·         Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country.

·         IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2019 will be conducted in a fully computer-based test mode.

GLA University was started with the establishment of GLA Institute of Technology & Management offering B.Tech and MCA programs, in the year 1998 by the current Chancellor Shri Narayan Das Agrawal. CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI), a premier drug research institute of India was inaugurated on 17th Feb 1951 by the then Prime Minister of India Pt. Selection process:

All applications will be screened by a committee. The committee will set the criteria for short-listing the candidates. Only those candidates who are found eligible will be called for written test/ interview/counselling at CDRI, Lucknow tentatively between 01-10 July 2019. No TA will be paid by CDRI and candidates will have to make their own arrangements for 1-2 days stay at Lucknow. The number of students to be selected will depend upon the positions available. The decision of the committee with regard to selection of candidates shall be final.

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), Government of India set up The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) at Jais, Dist. Eligibility:

1. Petroleum Engineering: A 4-year B.Tech./B.E. degree in Petroleum Engineering with a first class or minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% marks or 5.5 CPI for SC/ST students) in the qualifying exam and a qualified GATE Score.

Sponsorship Cateogory

Sponsorship basis: Valid GATE score is not required. These candidates will have to qualify in a subject-wise written test/interview. Such candidates will not be eligible for M. Tech. scholarship. The candidate should have worked for the sponsoring organization for at least two years and need to submit a No Objection Certificate, leave approval for one year and the company should guarantee continued employment during the period of study.
