Eligibility:

·         Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. degree programme must have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

·         All applicants, who is applying for B.Arch. course should have written the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) (www.nata.in/www.nata.nic.in) conducted by Council of Architecture, India and secure the minimum eligible marks as per COA norms.

How to Apply:

Students, having the qualifying marks, can apply to any one of the undergraduate programmes offered by the University. The applications should be submitted at the admission office before the deadline mentioned in the advertisement. This does not apply for those who apply for non-professional programmes and research related programmes.

Re-admission

Students who have been dismissed either from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science or any other institution will not be readmitted under any circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications for Admission

BMS Institute of Technology and Management traces its roots to B.M.S. Educational Trust, the same trust that set up the first private technical institute, BMS College of Engineering. Masters of Computer Applications (MCA) [Accredited by NBA, New Delhi]

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree examination with not less than 50% of the marks in all the years of the degree examination can seek admission to Master of Computer Applications. In case of Scheduled castes/ Scheduled Tribes the marks shall not be less than 45%. The candidates with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer science or Computer Programming or Computer Applications or Business Statistics as optional or electives. However in case of Scheduled castes/ Scheduled Tribes the marks shall not be less than 45%.

The students who has studied and passed one of the specified subject in the pre-University course with 50% of the marks in that subject shall also considered for admission. However in case of Scheduled castes/ Scheduled Tribes the marks shall not be less than 45% for admission.

There shall be an entrance examination for MCA Course. A Candidate seeking admission in engineering colleges bangalore affiliated to VTU shall have to take this examination. The admission committee shall hold the concerned examination and shall also conduct the interview of the candidates. For Govt. Seats in colleges and for VTU course, PGCET will conduct the entrance exam.

Conditions applicable only for Medical Sciences stream: MBBS degree from any university recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). Candidates should have completed one year compulsory rotating internship or its equivalent as recognized by MCI after passing the final year MBBS examination. Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) Batch-18, Full Time Residential Programme

Eligibility:

·         Minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates) or equivalent in Graduation.

·         Valid Score in CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA / GMAT for admissions (or)

·         Qualified in All-India Entrance Test conducted by NIRDPR, Hyderabad

SELECTION PROCESS: Selection of candidates will be made through a process of All-India Entrance Test which will test the verbal, quantitative and analytical competencies of the students including English Language (or) Should have valid score in any of the qualifying exams: CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA / GMAT during the year 2019-20. Group Discussion and Personal Interviews will be conducted for the short-listed candidates at NIRDPR, Hyderabad.

ENTRANCE TEST: The Entrance Test will be conducted on 19th April, 2020 at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi, Patna, Pune and Thiruvanantapuram. However, NIRDPR reserves the right to cancel any of the centres or add new centres for any administrative reasons and assign any other centre to the applicants.
