Dr. D. Y. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) [Specialization: Medicine, Dentistry, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Management]

Eligibility:

For admission to the Ph. D. programme in a subject under any Faculty the applicant shall fulfill the following criteria:

1. Faculty of Medicine:

A candidate who has passed MD/MS Degree examination in the concerned subject from an Institute which is recognized by the Medical Council of India, 

OR
Candidate having Diploma in National Board (DNB) qualification in the concerned subject 
OR
A candidate having passed M. Optometry, M.Sc.(Medical) Degree examination from a recognized University in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

2. Faculty of Dentistry

A candidate who has passed a Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) Degree examination in the concerned subject from an Institute which is recognized by the Dental Council of India.

3. Faculty of Nursing:

A candidate who has passed a Master of Science Degree examination in M. Sc. Nursing from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate.

4. Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences:

A candidate who has passed a Master of Physiotherapy Degree examination (MPT) from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate.

5.Faculty of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics:

A candidate having passed Master Degree examination from a recognized university, i.e., (M.Sc. or M. Tech.) Degree from any branch of Science related to Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, such as Chemistry / Biology/ Life Sciences / Microbiology/ Biotechnology, Bioinformatics/Plant Environmental//Pharmacy/ Environmental//Pharmacy/Agriculture Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences etc. with a minimum of 55% Aggregate Marks in aggregate.

6. Faculty of Management:

A candidate having passed Master Degree Examination in Management or Business Administration or Management related subjects with a minimum of 55 % marks from a recognized university in aggregate. 
The fellow members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and/or Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India or of Institute of Company Secretaries of India shall be eligible, provided that they possess a Bachelor Degree of any statutory University with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate. Such candidate should have at least 5 years professional experience.

7. Faculty of Ayurved:

A candidate who has passed a Master of Ayurved Degree examination in (M.D.) from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate.

8. Faculty of Homoeopathy:

A candidate who has passed a Master of Homoeopathy Degree examination in ( M. D.) from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate. 

Application for research in inter-disciplinary areas and from applicants belonging to a faculty or a subject other than the faculty or subject in which the research is proposed to be done and also from the international students, who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria given as applicable, shall be considered on the basis of the proven ability and aptitude for researcher as evidenced by his/her publications/ research work/academics. 
A relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non- creamy layer) differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Vidyapeeth from time to time. 

A candidate who have cleared the M. Phil. Course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate of its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC-7 point scale or an its equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever, grading system is followed and successfully completing M. Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work relating the Ph. D. in the same Institution 

A person whose M. Phil. dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voce is pending may be admitted to the Ph.D. programme of the same Institution; 

Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M. Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational Institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.

Admission Procedure A candidate shall submit on line application to the Registrar in the prescribed format available at the Vidyapeeth website together with the processing fee, to paid online within the stipulated time furnishing the following information:-

About College:

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), has been constituted as a non profit organization with the express objective of engaging in activities for the promotion of training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. Besides that, NICMAR’s objectives include undertaking special projects, collaboration with other organizations, dissemination of knowledge through seminars / conferences, etc; publishing literature, undertaking consultancy and taking necessary actions conducive to fulfillment of the objectives of the Society. Under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, NICMAR was registered as a Public Trust in 1982. The NICMAR Society was constituted in 1984 and registered under the Societies’ Registration Act, 1860.
The Board of Trustees, the Board of Governors and the Director General, referred in the Memorandum of Association as the ‘Chief Executive’ of the Society, are responsible for all the decisions and actions related to NICMAR. ·         Those who have completed Graduate from any recognized/statutory University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), Programs, which require specific discipline/ subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute.

·         A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any program of SIU.

·         Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.

Selection Process for SNAP 2018

The Institute established in 1969 by the Reserve Bank of India, in consultation with the Government of India, as an autonomous apex institution, with the mandate of playing a proactive role of “think-tank” of the banking system, the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) is part of the grand vision of giving a new direction to the banking industry in India and making the industry a more cost-effective instrument for national development. Course Name:

PGDM Banking and Financial Services [AICTE Recognized]

Eligibility:

NIBM will use scores of CAT 2018 / XAT (2019) / CMAT (2019) for short-listing candidates for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.  The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor's degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree.  In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply.  Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/ Director of the University/Institution certifying that the candidate is currently in the final year/is awaiting final results and has obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks.  Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a certificate latest by June 30, 2019 from the Principal/Registrar of their college/institute (issued on or before June 30, 2019) stating that they have completed all the requirements (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate. Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification referred to in the certificate issued by Principal/Registrar of their college/institute with at least 50% marks. The deadline for submission of the mark sheet and the certificate is October 31, 2019.  Non-fulfillment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.  NIBM would not allow any candidate to join the programme in case the candidate is unable to complete all the requirements for a bachelor degree on or before June 30, 2019. 

Instances of any incorrect information and process violation detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification of the candidate from the selection process. If such instances go undetected during the current selection process but are detected in subsequent years, such disqualification will take place with retrospective effect.

Admission Procedure

Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM (B&FS) of NIBM should appear for CAT 2018/ XAT (2019)/ CMAT (2019). Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT 2018/ XAT (2019)/ CMAT (2019) scores will be called for Writing Ability Test and Interview during April 2019 in select centers. Short listed applicants may have to take additional written test if required at a later stage. IIMs or any other Institutions will have no role either in selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

In the last decade Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) has emerged as a global university with a wide offering of programs and courses spanning varied educational faculties. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has 32 constituent units and is one of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus universities. Over the years BVDU has contributed thousands of well trained graduates, post graduates and research doctorates to the pool of professionals in India and abroad. The University Grants Commission which is the apex body concerned with higher education in India made an assessment of the academic excellence achieved by the institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth through a committee of experts and on the recommendation of the UGC, the Government of India accorded the status of "Deemed to be University" to twelve institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth in Pune on 26th April, 1996 vide their notification No. F.9-15/95-U.3.

Later in July 2000 the Government of India on the recommendation of University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education brought three more institutions within the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University vide their notification No. F-9-15/95-4-3 dated 28th July, 2000. 

The University Grants Commission vide their Letter No. F.No. 3-2/90 (CPP-1) dated 17th August 2002, have agreed to bring two more research institutions within the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. During the year 2004, a Medical College at Sangli and a Dental College at Navi Mumbai have also been brought No. F. 9-7/2004-U.3 within the ambit of this University by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India vide its notification dt. 19th August, 2004.

It can be paid through the following modes:

Debit Card or Credit Card (All major cards except American Express)

- Net Banking

- Demand Draft (DD)

Make a Demand Draft in favour of the respective postgraduate school you are applying for (FLAME School of Business or FLAME School of Communication), payable in Pune

In the application form, you can mention the Demand Draft details (such as the Demand Draft number, Bank, and Date)

After submission, send the Demand Draft (with your application number mentioned behind) toFLAME (Foundation for Liberal And Management Education, 401, Phoenix Commercial Complex, Bund Garden, Opposite, Residency Club, Pune-411001,Maharashtra, India)
