About College:

Vellore, a district capital in Tamil Nadu, has long been known for its stately fort and temple, renowned hospital and medical college, Parry's factories and the vast government industrial estate in nearby Ranipet. Vellore's history records several dynasties and powers. The Pallavas, Cholas, Pandyas, Hoysalas, Sambhurvarayars, Chalukyas, Vijayanagar, Bijapur Sultans, Mughals, Marathas, French and the British have all ruled the area at one point of time or the other. The twenty or more palaces and forts in the district reflect ancient styles and traditions. The most striking of these is the famous Vellore Fort, built in the 16th Century by Chinna Bommi Nayak of Vijayanagar. The fort was declared a national monument in 1992. 
The Jalakandeswara Temple inside the fort is an imposing example of Vijayanagar architecture. The temple, now renovated, is known for its exquisite sculptures. There are scores of other temples and shrines in the area. Among these, the ancient rock-cut Jain cave temples attract heritage enthusiasts from all over the world for their rich art and beautiful sculpture. Not far away, the remains of the Arcot Fort and the magnificent entrance that Robert Clive named the Delhi Gate are reminders of Clive's successful defence of Arcot in 1751 and his uncanny prediction that, with this victory would begin the march from this gate to Delhi.

Graduates in any discipline with 50% minimum marks from any university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities are eligible. Candidates in their final year of graduation may also apply. Having Work Experience is not a requirement for admission to the program, however candidates with work experience are welcome.

Entrance Test Score Submission

ITM uses standardized management entrance test scores as a part of its overall selection process. Candidates are not selected/disqualified on the basis of their test scores only. The test score is just one part of an overall candidate profile.

The following test scores are accepted:

·       XAT (Xavier's Admission Test)

·       GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test)

·       MAT ( Management Aptitude Test)

Submit an attested copy of your Test Score Card along with the application form. If you have not received your test score, give details of Test Registration Number, Test Centre Code, etc.

Note: ITM uses the CAT score for short-listing candidates called for Group Discussions/Personal Interview. IIM's have no role in selection or in conducting the program.

Scholarships and Financial Aid:  ITM Business School awards a limited number of scholarships/assistantships for exceptional students who are financially challenged. These range from a tuition fee waiver of 25% to 100%, often in exchange for on-campus employment as research assistants, administrative assistants, event managers etc.

Candidates seeking a Scholarship award must submit their applications. The Admissions Committee awards scholarships at its sole discretion, selecting candidates based on the criteria mentioned below (see Selection Process). Additional weight age is often, but not always given to candidates with 2+ years work experience, previous Masters level education (non-Business), and financial condition of the candidate and his family.

Selection Process:  The Admissions Committee for the PGDM program consists of the Chairman of Admissions, The Chairman of ITM Trust and the individual Directors of each ITM PGDM Campus.

Note: No Capitation or donations are accepted for the PGBM (or any ITM program) under any circumstances. There are no seat quotas for ethnic minorities and no payment category. Selection to the ITM PGDM program is based exclusively on the candidates merit and the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

Selection into the ITM PGDM program at all Campuses is conducted centrally through ITM Navi Mumbai.

Group Discussion/Personal Interview:  Several Group Discussion & Personal Interview sessions will be conducted starting in February 2016. For selected candidates, the intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail.

The selection criteria for calling candidates for Group Discussion & Personal Interviews and final admissions are based on multiple factors as follows:

ü        Past academic performance

ü        Quality & content of the answers in the application form

ü        Work experience, if any, in terms of job content & organization

ü        Group Discussion & Interview performance

ü        Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments

ü        CAT/XAT/GMAT score

ü        A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be called for interview/group discussion and offered final admission. CAT/XAT/GMAT score is NOT the only criteria for selection in ITM.

ü        A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.

Common Admission Test (CAT)

All applicants desirous of seeking admission in PGDFM at IIFM, Bhopal have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) by responding to their notification published in leading national dailies. IIFM will use the CAT score only for short-listing the candidates for two year full time post graduate programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

Reservation

27%, 15%, 7.5% and 3% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the OBC-Non-Creamy, SC, ST, and PD respectively, provided they meet the minimum selection criteria as specified by IIFM.

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), has been constituted as a non profit organization with the express objective of engaging in activities for the promotion of education, training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. IRMA was established in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, the erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The genesis of IRMA is owed to Dr. Kurien's work with dairy co-operatives, which revolutionized the dairy industry in the country. The FPRM admission process comprises three stages. The first stage involves screening of the applications. The second stage consists of a written test. Personal interviews are conducted at the third stage

To be eligible for admission to the Programme an applicant must satisfy one of the following conditions;

1.      PRM from IRMA; or

2.      OYP from IRMA with one year post-diploma work experience; or

3.      Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution with 55% marks at PG and 50% marks at graduation (college) level; or

4.      Five-year professional degree (medicine, veterinary science, architecture etc.) with 60% marks and at least one year work experience; or

5.      Four-year professional degree (engineering, agricultural sciences etc.) with 60% marks and at least three years work experience.

6.      Applicants having valid score of UGC JRF (NET)/CSIR in relevant disciplines (management, economics, social work, sociology, psychology, commerce, etc.).

The eligibility requirements for candidates from SC/ST/OBC/dap1 would be 5% less than those specified above.

In exceptional cases, a person with a high professional standing and proven competence, not possessing a PG degree but whose experience can measure up to a PG degree might also be considered for admission to the Programme. In these cases, the FPRM Executive Committee would consider the quality of the published and unpublished work and/ or professional contributions of the applicant and establish equivalence to the relevant PG course subjects.

The written test is common for PRM and FPRM applicants. The written test (200 marks), comprises four sections: analytical reasoning (60 marks), quantitative ability (50 marks), English comprehension (50 marks), and issues of social concern (40 marks). The test is conducted at 27 centres across India.

Applicants with PGDRM qualification from IRMA and applicants who have valid score of UGC JRF (NET)/CSIR in relevant disciplines (management, economics, social work, sociology, psychology, commerce, etc.) are exempted from writing the written test and will be directly called for interview. Such applicants are required to attach the self attested photocopy of certificate issued by UGC/CSIR with hard copy of application form.

The decision of the selection committee on admission is final.

B.      Make payment at any branch of IMS Learning Center, after getting IMS receipt apply only through IRMA website by using IMS receipt number.

C.      Take a print out of SBI challan available on IRMA website in the admission link. Make payment at any branch of SBl by using the challan. SBI would then issue a unique ID number. Use this unique ID number and apply online through IRMA website.

E.      Examination form fees will be waived for candidates belonging to "Below Poverty Line (BPL)'' families. Such candidates are required to apply only in hard copy.
