The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) was established as the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India in November 1961 in collaboration with Alfred P. National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB), then Cement Research Institute of India (CRI) was founded on 24th December 1962 with the objective to promote research and scientific work connected with cement and building materials trade and industry.

Today, NCB is the premier body under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, for technology development, transfer, continuing education and industrial services for cement and construction industries. Geographically, NCB has its corporate centre and main laboratories located at Ballabgarh (near New Delhi); another well established regional centre at Hyderabad and a Centre at Ahmedabad (Gujarat).

About College:

The Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, Rewari was established through an ordinance promulgated by the Governor of Haryana on Sept. 07, 2013. It started its functioning from Sept. 13, 2013 with appointment of Sh. Mohinder Kumar IAS (Retd.) as first Vice-Chancellor by the Governor of Haryana.

The university campus is situated in village Meerpur at a distance of about 13 Km from district headquarter of Rewari in Southern Haryana. It is spread over about 100 acres of land in lush green area. Before coming in to existance as an independent State University it was the Post Graduate Regional Centre of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and was established on 03.10.1988.

2.      Log on to Apply Online Portal with the login credentials which are the email id and password created in Step 1 above.

3.      Purchase the Application Form by paying the Fees Rs. 1,000/- online. You can also download the Application Form in soft copy, after completing the Payment successfully.

4.      The Application Form consists of the following sections – Student Personal Information, Parent/Guardian Information, Educational/Academic details and the choice of program. Kindly ensure that all the information is available with you,when you start filling up the Application Form. Fill all the details in the online Application form.
