Admission Criteria: Admission to 75% open seats and 25% management seats (including 15% seats if any, for children/wards of NRI's) as also seats remaining vacant after first counselling will be made on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.

The admission form can be obtained from the administrative office of the respective university/institute on a payment of Rs. 750/- those who want the admission form by post, should send DD of Rs. 800/- in favour of the concerned university/institute. The admission form can also be downloaded from the website of the concerned university/institute. However such candidates will have to enclose a DD of Rs. 750/- with the downloaded admission form.

Important Instructions for filling up the Admission form:-

1.            The Admission Form for admission to the course, duly completed in all respects, must be accompanied with the following documents:

(a)   A Recent Passport size photograph should be pasted at the space provided on the Admission Form with two additional copies to be appended with the Admission Form.

(b)  Attested copies of Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate or a Certificate of its equivalent examination showing the candidate's date of birth.

(c)   Attested copies of having passed/appearing in qualifying examination duly attested by the Principal of the School / College/institution last attended.

(d)  Character Certificate reporting on the inter personal/social behaviourial pattern of the applicant issued by the School/College/institution last attended by the candidate.

(e)   Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH/ESM for statistical information or for getting the benefit of relaxation in age or marks in the qualifying examination or for reservation of seat at MMU Solan and MMU Sadopur - Ambala, wherever applicable.

(f)    Original Migration Certificate from the Board/University last attended (to be submitted at the time of admission or within 15 days from the date of admission].

(g)  The candidate must mention his/her and their Parent's Phone/Mob. No. and e-mail address at the space provided in the Admission Form. Any change in the contact number / e-mail address must be intimated to the Admission Office.

(h)  Certificate of Himachali for claiming seat under reserved category for Himachali's at MMU Solan.

(i)    Certificate of Haryana resident for claiming seat under reserved category for Haryana resident at MMU Sadopur - Ambala.

Note: The candidate should intimate, on the proforma enclosed, the result of the qualifying examination and the result of AIEEE/MAT/GATE Score (in the case of admission to B.Tech/ MBA/ M.Tech.Course respectively) immediately on its declaration, if not already submitted.

About College:

The Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi is a Government of India institution and only of its nature in eastern India. The British established this hospital on 17th May 1918 with the name of Ranchi European Lunatic Asylum. It had then a capacity of 174 patients (92 male and 82 female). It catered to the needs of the European mental patients only and it was under the direct control and management of Government of Bihar. In 1922, it was put under the control of a Board of Trustees with various participating state governments represented in the Board and in the very same year its name was changed to European Mental Hospital. The year 1922 is also notable for the fact that the Institute was affiliated to the University of London for the Diploma in Psychological Medicine examination. It was a unique phenomenon since the postgraduate training in Psychiatry was nonexistent in India in those days.It may be worth noting that this Institute has been the most premier centre for mental health in the country and it has many firsts to its credit. For example, to mention only a few, the first Occupational Therapy Department in 1922, ECT in 1943, psychosurgery and neurosurgery in 1947, clinical psychology and Electroencephalography (EEG) departments in 1948, a full fledged neuropathology section in 1952, the first use of Lithium in 1952 and chlorpromazine in 1953. A very modern radiology department with facility for sophisticated cerebral angiography, pneumoencephalography, air ventriculography, myelography etc. was established in 1954. Few other landmarks are starting a child guidance clinic in 1950, rural mental health clinic at Mander in 1967, rehabilitation centre and sheltered workshop in 1967, and industrial psychiatry unit at HEC, Ranchi in 1973. It may also be noted that the Indian Psychiatric Society was established in 1948 because of the efforts of this Institute and it is registered in Patna. The first draft of the Bill that subsequently became the Mental Health Act of India (1987) was written at C.I.P, Ranchi in 1949 by Dr. R.B. Davis, the then Medical Superintendent, Dr. S.A. Hasib, from Indian Mental Hospital, Ranchi and Dr. J. Roy, from Mental Hospital, Gwaliar. The latter two too had worked at C.I.P., Ranchi at one time or other.

Pondicherry Dental College was established in the year 1990 in a building with only 2 rooms. It was subsequently renamed as Mahatma Gandhi Dental College& Hospital in the year 1995.  Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital was upgraded to present status as Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences on08.09.2005 vide G.O.Ms.No. 57 of the Govt. of Pondicherry. It is the only Dental Institute in the country in the Govt. sector on par with other leading Medical Institutes in the country. Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences is offering 5 year BDS course (inclusive of one year paid Compulsory Rotatory internship) and 3 year MDS courses in seven specialities.

The sanctioned intake for the under graduate (BDS) course is 40 seats under the following categories.

The selection of the candidates under the Puducherry domicile category is made purely on merit basis by the Centralized Admissions Committee (CENTAC), Govt. of Puducherry based on the marks arrived at by adopting the ‘method of normalization’. The seats allotted under the All India Quota are filled in by the candidates sponsored by the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India through the Entrance Examination conducted on All India basis. The admission under the NRI/NRI sponsored / foreign students are made on merit basis adopting the ‘method of normalization’. The duration of the BDS course is five (5) academic years without Internship. The BDS degree is awarded by the Pondicherry (Central) University after successful completion of the course.

Candidates for admission to the BDS degree course should have a pass in the Higher Secondary examination (Academic) conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of any State Board i.e.  12th standard or any other equivalent examination thereto as recognized by the Pondicherry Central University, candidate for admission to BDS course must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry,  Biology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in  hysics,  Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled  Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and  Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% as above and must have  qualifying marks in English.

3.      The fee of the application form is Rs. 2000/- or equivalent in US Dollars by Demand Draft only.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur is the first Ayurved University of Rajasthan and is the second University of it's kind in India,. The Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University was established by DSRRAU Act -2002 (Act No. 15 of 2002) which came into force w.e.f. may 24, 2003 vide Gazette Notification no. Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8th May 2000 vide Act No. 1248(2) XVII-V-I-I-19-2000 Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam Sankhya 23 of 2000. About College:

The institute will strive to be among the top ten medical colleges in India in the spheres of medical education, research and health care services. Added to this 1000 bed Dr.Prabhakar Kore Charitable Hospital and three Primary Health Centres and one urban Health centre will be the epicenters of post graduate and under graduate training, wherein patients are treated free and exclusively meant for training the post graduate and under graduate in their basic knowledge and skills.

The extreme shortage of medical facilities in the region, promoted the KLE Society to establish the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Belgaum in 1963. The J N Medical College, Belgaum, stands testimony to the high professional standards aimed for and achieved by the KLE Society. Under the able guidance and mature insight of the Founder Dean, Late Dr. B.S.Jirge, the foundation of the present academic vastness was laid. Eminent medical educationist, late Dr.B.S. Desai and Dr. M.Basavaraj Urs headed the institutions as principals during the first decade.

Dr. S. G. Desai took over the reigns of the institution in 1971. His distinguished tenure between 1971 and 1985 was marked by the achievement of high standards of discipline, decorum, and academic excellence.

Dr.H.B.Rajshekhar assumed the office of the principal in 1985. During his tenure; the college saw vast growth in infrastructure and learning resources. He contributed substantially in the up coming of the KLE Hospital and MRC, Department of Medical Educaiton, Digital Library and collaboration with the University ofIllinois, USA. These ideas were conceived and realized during his tenure. Welfare and student support amenities were given a great emphasis by him.
