TBJEE 2018 Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will conduct the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2018 

Tripura JEE - TBJEE 2018 

TBJEE 2018 is the entrance exam for admission to Engineering, Medical, Dental, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fisheries, Technical and other Professional Degree Coursesagainst available seats reserved for the State of Tripura 

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will conduct Tripura Joint Entrance Examination(TJEE)-2018 on the basis of its existing syllabi at Dharmanagar, Kailasahar, Ambassa, Udaipur, Santirbazar and Agartala to prepare merit list for admission (*) to Engineering, Technological, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical And other Professional Degree Courses against available seats reserved for the State of Tripura 

Courses Details 

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering / Technological Degree Courses (Group-A)will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to various Degree Courses of Veterinary / Agricultural /Fisheries, Paramedical and others (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates desiring to take chances in both of the above groups (Group-C) will have to appear in all the four subjects 

Candidates are directed to go through the Prospectus about question pattern and mode of answer 

Eligibility Criteria 

For Appearing at Joint Entrance Exam: 

a) Candidate must be a citizen of India 

b) Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tripura and either the candidate or his/her parent must have been residing in the state of Tripura continuously for not less than 10 (ten) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination 2018 

Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) issued by the appropriate authority of candidate/father/mother which one is applicable, must be submitted 

(c) Candidate must have passed/appeared/due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Exam at the Higher Secondary Exam of Tripura Board of Secondary Education /Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent exam with the subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Exam 

(d) Children of All India Services Officers borne in Manipur-Tripura cadre and the children of the employees of State Govt. posted outside Tripura will be eligible to appear at the exam irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura 

(e) In case a candidate is not permanent resident of Tripura but his/her parent is an Officer on deputation to the Govt. of Tripura/Officer of the Central Govt. working in Tripura and has served in Tripura continuously for a period of 3-years or more and passed H.S from an Institution of Tripura he/she is eligible for appearing in the exam 

(f) In case of Wards of Ex-Serviceman, either the candidate or his/her parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than 5-years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Exam and the candidate must have passed or appeared/due to appear at the H.S. (+2) Exam or equivalent in the year of JEE from any legally recognized institution in India with subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Exam 

(g) If a candidate is allotted a seat in the past inside or out-side the State on the basis of the result of Joint Entrance Exam he/she shall not be eligible to appear at the JEE this year or subsequent year unless he/she has surrendered the allotted seat in writing within specific time to the appropriate authority

Total number of seats along other criteria regarding eligibility shall be ascertained on the basis of the communication as received by the Board from the respective sponsoring departments 

Reservation 
Reservation of seats for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Wards of Ex-serviceman (EX) candidates will be as per approved norms of the State Government 

TBJEE 2018 Exam Pattern 

Every year the Board conducts Joint Entrance Examination at the end of April for preparation of merit list to select students/candidates for admission to different professional degree courses, such as Engineering, Technological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fisheries and others 

The Program of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2018 for four different subjects is as follow: 

25th April 2018 (Tuesday, 11.00 am to 01.00 pm for Physics and 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm for Chemistry) 

26th April 2018 (Wednesday, 11.00 am to 01.00 pm for Mathematics and 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm for Biology) 

Question Paper of each subject of Exam will be of 100 marks comprising of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) 

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/Technical Degree Courses (Group-A) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and those seeking admission to various Degree Courses of Medical/Veterinary/Agricultural/Fisheries and others (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology 

Candidates desiring to take chances in both of the above groups (Group-C) will have to appear in all the four subjects 

Optical Marks Recognition/Reading (OMR) system will also be adopted in TJEE-2018 

Candidates are directed to go through the Prospectus about question pattern and mode of answer

Application Form, Prospectus, and challan may also be downloaded from Website www.tbjee.nic.in 

The Application Form & Prospectus may be obtained from counter of the office of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Exam (TBJEE), Old Secretariat Complex, Finance Building, 2nd Floor, Agartala-799001 w.e.f. 02nd January 2018 to 31st January 2018 in between 11.00 am to 03.00 pm on all working days (excluding Sundays and all other holidays) on payment of Rs.100/- only in cash 

However, on 31st January 2018 Forms will be distributed up to 05.30 pm

The Application Form and Prospectus may be obtained by postal request from the office of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Exam by sending Postal Order of Rs.100/- per Form and Prospectus in favour of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Exam, payable at Agartala Head Post Office 

All postal requests must be accompanied with a self-addressed envelope of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of Rs.5/- affixed on it 

Exam Fees 
The Exam Fees for different categories of candidates are as shown in the table below: 
UR - Rs.350/- (Rupees three hundred and fifty) 
SC & ST - Rs.300/- (Rupees three hundred) 
BPL UR - Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty) 
BPL SC & ST - Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) 

Candidates must have to deposit their exam fees through prescribed e-Challan supplied by TBJEE at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). In that case, they have to deposit bank commission/other charges in addition to the amount of exact exam fees; but if the exam fees are deposited at SBI, Agartala (Melarmath) Branch, there is no need to give exchange fees/commission/service charges etc.

Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Exam (ICSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, College etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (CBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable

For admission in B. Tech, B. Tech (Hons.), Integrated B. Tech - M. Tech and Integrated B. Tech - MBA applicant should:

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2018

Exam Pattern for LPUNEST 2018

Mode of Exam - Online mode (Computer based test)
Each MCQ will consist a stem which may be in the form of a question or an incomplete statement and four responses labelled A, B, C and D; one of the four responses only is the correct or most appropriate answer

Test Duration is of 120 minutes and consists of 90 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type

Making Scheme: +4 marks for correct answer; 0 (zero) marks for no answer; no negative marking for incorrect answer
The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:
a) Physics - 30 questions
b) Chemistry - 30 questions
c) Mathematics - 30 questions
d) Biology - 30 questions

Applicants can opt for either Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Language of the entrance test shall be English only. Each question carries four marks

Fee and Scholarship applicable to applicants admitted on the basis of LPUNEST-2018 will be as per details given below:

Application of LPUNEST 2018 is to be submitted online by the students by completing the Steps below like filling basic details, completing registration, payment of application fees and entering slot booking details etc.

The guidelines for filling the application form is given below

Registration Details

(i) First of all the candidate should fill the personal information, (ii) The student must provide the valid email id; (iii) Once entered applicant Name, Date of Birth and email id cannot be changed, so you must provide correct information

(iv) Once you entered the above details, a confirmation message containing application id and password will be sent on candidates email and phone; (v) The application should note down this application number, as this is very important for future use

Already Registered User Login: This is for the applicant who is already registered and already filled the details above then can enter by using their Application Number and Password

Payment Details: The candidate should have to make payment against the application fee; the payment can be made in the following way

(ii) Debit Card
(iii) Credit Card

The candidate should have select the appropriate payment mode and follow the instructions therein. Take a printout of the computer-generated application

The eligibility criteria for SOA University Admission Test (Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admission Test - SAAT 2018) for various UG Courses is elaborated as below 
B. Tech Program- Pass or appearing (in the year 2018) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith one of the following subjects: Chemistry , Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Informatics , Statistics or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing 50% marks in aggregate (all subjects inclusive) 

B. Pharm Program - Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2018) with pass mark in individual subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology 

BHMCT Program - Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2018) in any discipline with atleast 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC category) 

B.Sc. in Agriculture Program - Pass or appearing at 10+2 exam (2018) with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under general and OBC categories, 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PH categories, with PCM,PCB,PCMB subject combinations. Pass in English in the 10+2 examination is essential 

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 23 years as on 31-12-2018 
B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic) Programs - Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2018) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST, OBC candidates and must have passed in English 

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2018 

Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Post basic) - Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council 

Five years integrated BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) Program - Pass or appearing (2018) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with atleast 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC, ST 
Candidate should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01st August 2018. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 2 (two) years for SC and ST candidates 

BBA - Pass or appearing (2018) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream 

MBBS,BDS Eligibility - Pass or appearing at 10+2 exam or any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying exam 
In respect of the candidates belonging to SC,ST & OBC the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying exam can be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates 
For PH candidates qualifying exam marks is 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. As per MCI & DCI guidelines candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. All candidates must pass in English

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for SC,ST candidates 

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses 
The eligibility criteria for SOA University Admission Test (Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admission Test - SAAT 2018) for various PG Courses is elaborated as below 

For M. Tech Program - Pass or appearing in BE, B.Tech, AMIE, MCA, M.Sc. in the respective discipline or equivalent 
Candidates having MCA & M.Sc (Maths) degree are eligible for M.Tech in Comp Sci. & Data Processing; candidates with M.Sc (Electronics) are eligible for M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg and M.Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engg., M.Sc. in Computer Science and IT are eligible for M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and CS & IT respectively 

A candidate with B.Tech (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy) or M.Sc (Environmental Sci, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology, Life Science, Botany, Zoology) is eligible for M.Tech in Environmental Science & Technology 

M.Tech in Biotechnology, candidates having B.Tech, B.E in Biotechnology or related fields,M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent, MBBS, B.Pharm, B.V.Sc with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible 
Admission to M.Tech, candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with atleast 50% marks 
GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form 

MCA - Pass or appearing at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognised University with atleast 50% of marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC Category) having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level 
Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible 

MBA,MHA,MHTM,MHMCT - Pass or appearing three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts, B.E, B.Tech, MBBS, B.Pharm, B.Sc Agri., BVSC ,BHMS ,BAMS ,BDS,BPT, BHMCT,BBA,BCA exam or equivalent from any recognised University with atleast 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC category) 

For MHMCT the candidate must have secured atleast 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC Category) in BHMCT 
Candidate having a minimum composite score of 500 in GMAT,CAT,XAT,MAT,ATMA or any other equivalent test are exempted from appearing SAAT. They are required only to submit the filled up application form; admission will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT or MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview (GD, PI), all taken together 

M. Pharm - Pass or appearing at B.Pharm examination from any recognized University with atleast 50% marks 

M.Sc All (Biotechnology, Nano Science & Nano Tech, Medicinal & Aromatic Plants, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology & Drug Design): Pass or appearing at three year Bachelor degree in Science OR four year Bachelor course in Agriculture, Pharmacy Veterinary, Engg, Technology, Medicine (MBBS,BDS) from any recongnised University with atleast 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC category) 

M.Sc in Chemical Biology & Drug Design the candidates should have B.Sc Chemistry (Honours), B.Tech in Chemical Engg, B.Pharm, M.Pharm with atleast 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC category)

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2018 include the restriction on nationality, age, educational qualification, and domicile

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals

Age Limit

The lower age limit to appear in WBJEE 2018 is 17 (seventeen) years as on December 31, 2018. There is no upper age limit for WBJEE 2018. In the case of Marine Engineering, the lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years, and upper age limit is 25 (twenty-five) as on 31st December 2017

Educational Qualification

Eligibility criteria with regards to education is again specified separately for candidates who come under GMR and PM. For Engineering Admission - Those who will appear in both Paper I and Paper II

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Application has to be filled up online at the portal of the board, www.wbjeeb.nic.in 

The candidates need to visit the portal and click the requisite link Online Application WBJEE-2018 and thereafter will be directed to the actual application form; the form is interactive in nature and the fields required to be filled up are categorized in different sub-sections 

The application form is broadly categorized into three steps: filling of Personal Details; Document Uploading and Fee Payment 

Candidates need to fill in the first part i.e. Personal Details and will thereafter be directed to document uploading; once the documents are successfully uploaded, the system enters into the fee payment 

Finally, the candidate may take a printout of Confirmation Page Generated upon successful Fee Payment for his or her own record; there is no need to send any document by post 

Application Fee Details 

The candidate will be directed to the page of fee payment and will have following two options: 

Payment by Debit/Credit Card: The candidate has to select Debit/Credit Card option to pay the fee and follow the instruction to complete the payment process; after successful payment, candidate will be able to print the "Confirmation Page"

The amount of application fees to be paid for appearing in the WBJEE-2017 is Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) plus the Bank’s Service Charges as applicable. The Examination Fees can be paid in cash less mode by ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan 

Payment status is updated online and hence should show ‘OK’ immediately after the payment. But in some rare cases it may be delayed due to the Bank’s network delay/failure or transaction failure at the Electronic Payment Gateway (EPG) 

Bank e-Challan: The candidate has to select “Allahabad Bank e-challan” to submit the application fee through bank. As soon as he selects it an e-Challan will be generated containing details of the candidate 

The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest Core Banking Service (CBS) facility enabled Branch of the Bank for making payment. After payment, the candidate has to login to the system and upload the details written on the e-Challan by the bank official

The JNUEE 2018 exam pattern include details about number of questions, subjects, marking scheme, etc. For each programme of JNU, there shall be different exam pattern.

Exam Mode: The examination will be written in offline mode.

Number of Questions: There shall be different number of questions for each programme.

Subjects: The subjects that includes in question paper will depend upon the course. Subjects varies from course to course.

Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers.

M.Sc. Environmental Sciences

Question paper will be of objective type and include questions in two parts.

Part-1: Include questions from Science and Mathematics of 10+2 standard.

MCA

It includes the multiple choice questions. 10+2/Graduate level Mathematics and Probability (80% questions) and General Aptitude and reasoning (20% questions).

M.A. in Economics (with Specialization in World Economy)

The paper tests the candidate’s knowledge in micro-economics,  macro-economics, mathematics and statistics, International trade  and  some related  disciplines,  such  as  public economics and economic development.

Objective type questions will be asked in examination comprising of 100 marks with negative marking.

B.A. (Hons.) 1st year in Foreign Languages

The paper judges General Knowledge, General  English and Elementary Knowledge on the culture  and civilization of the languages/country  concerned and aptitude for language skills.

B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in Foreign Languages

Knowledge of basic and applied grammar, besides some competence for simple  translation from the language concerned into English and vice-versa and familiarity with the culture and civilization of the country  concerned.

The paper will be set in respective foreign language.

M.Phil/Ph.D and M.Tech/Ph.D

The entrance examination will consist multiple choice questions.

The question paper has Graduate/Post  graduate  level Mathematics and Statistics, Graduate/Post  -graduate level Computer Science and General Aptitude.

Get details of the JNUEE 2018 application form including mode of filling the application form, application fee, etc.

JNUEE 2018 application form can be filled through online mode only.

The application form has been released from 15th September 2017.

Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph & signature.

Photograph (with specification 150 px width and 200 px height, size less than 20-50 KB) and signature (140 px width and 60 px height size less than 10-20 KB) has to be uploaded in the application form.

Pay the application through the prescribed modes.

Last date to submit the application has been extended till 17th October 2017.

Candidates are suggested to take the printout of confirmation page for further use.

Note: - Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions as laid down in the Prospectus and who seek admission to all the above mentioned courses have to apply in the prescribed application form issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

The CEE will conduct separate Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering and Medical Courses. The CEE will not conduct any Entrance Examination for admission to BArch course. However, candidates seeking admission to BArch course should compulsorily appear and qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA).

Eligibility:

Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian citizen. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will be treated on par with Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission.

Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Applicants of Kerala origin will be categorized as ‘Keralites’. Others will be categorized as ‘Non-Keralites’. Non-Keralites are classified as ‘Non-Keralite Category-I’ and ‘Non-Keralite Category-II’.

Keralites: - A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorized as a Keralite. A candidate will be considered as a ’Keralite’, for the limited purpose of eligibility for admission, if (a) he, she or his, her father, mother was born in Kerala OR (b) he, she has been a resident of Kerala for a period of 5 years within a period of 12 years OR (c) he, she has undergone his, her school studies from Standards VIII to XII in educational institution(s) in Kerala. The candidate should obtain relevant certificates in the application form as prescribed in the Prospectus to avail such benefit.

Candidates who are children of All India Service (AIS) officers allotted to Kerala cadre, claiming Keralite Status, should produce a certificate from the competent authority showing that the parent of the candidate is an AIS officer allotted to Kerala cadre.

Non-Keralite Category-I: - ‘Non-Keralite Category-I’ candidates are those who have undergone the qualifying course in Kerala, and who are the sons, daughters of Employees of the Government of India, or, employees who are serving in connection with the affairs of the Government of Kerala, subject to the condition that, all categories of the employees mentioned above should have served in Kerala for a minimum period of 2 years, or, have served in connection with the affairs of the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 2 years. Such candidates will be eligible for admission to all the seats, but they will not be considered for admission against reserved seats.

Non-Keralite Category-II: - Candidates who do not belong to the ‘Keralite’ or ‘Non- Keralite Category-I’ will be treated as ‘Non-Keralite Category-II'. They are eligible for admission ONLY to the ‘State Merit’ seats in the Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges in the State and in the Management Quota seats in Self-financing Engineering institutions under Government control. Non-Keralite candidates will not be considered for admission against reserved seats.

Academic Qualification:

Medical Courses: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology, Biotechnology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Biotechnology put together. Those who wish to take admission to MBBS, BDS courses should secure 50% marks in the Medical Entrance Examination (As per the guidelines issued by Medical Council of India). Candidates should prove their academic eligibility on the date of admission.

Eligibility of BSc Degree holders: Those who apply based on their BSc. Degree, for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS Courses, should have obtained their BSc. Degree with one of the subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology as Main, and any one or two of these subjects as subsidiaries, with 50% marks for Main and Subsidiaries taken together, provided they have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects.

Agriculture, Veterinary Courses: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together. Candidates seeking admission to BVSc. & AH course, in addition to the qualification prescribed above, should have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English put together (as per the regulation of Veterinary Council of India). Candidates should prove their academic eligibility on the date of admission

Note: Only those candidates who have secured a minimum of 10 marks each for Paper I and Paper II in the Medical Entrance Examination will be included in the Medical rank list for admission to Ayurveda, Siddha, Homoeo, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry Courses. SC, ST candidates will not have any minimum mark restriction for inclusion in the rank list.

Engineering Courses: The rank list for Engineering Courses will be prepared by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination and the Qualifying Examination. The marks secured for the subjects concerned (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Biology) in the Second year Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination will be added to the marks secured in the Entrance Examination for preparing the rank list. The marks of the Kerala State Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary Examination will be taken as it is given in the mark list. The marks of other Boards will be considered after affecting the normalization procedure as explained in clause 9.7.4 (b) of the Prospectus 2012. Only those candidates who have secured a minimum of 10 marks each for Paper I and Paper II will be included in the rank list. SC, ST candidates will not have any minimum mark restriction for inclusion in the rank list. Candidates who have passed the qualifying Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Biology put together are eligible for admission. Those candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination should attach the copy of mark list of Qualifying Examination duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the application. Those candidates who have appeared, appearing for the Qualifying Examination also are eligible to take the Entrance Examination. They should submit the copy of the mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination duly attested by a Gazetted Officer of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Candidates having Three Year Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, Kerala or equivalent, having 50% marks in the final Diploma examination, are also eligible for admission. They will be eligible for admission only to the Special Reservation Quota of 4 seats reserved under DE category. Such candidates should prove their academic eligibility on the date of admission. However, the Diploma holders are not eligible for admission to the Engineering courses offered by Kerala Agricultural University.

Architecture Course: Candidates who have passed 10+2 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics as a subject of examination, with 50% marks in aggregate, Candidates who have passed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central, State Governments with 50% aggregate marks , Candidates with International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates will have to score 40% marks (80 marks out of 200) in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture). Reserved category (SC, ST, SEBC) candidates should also have obtained 40% marks in NATA, as per guidelines of Council of Architecture. (For details, visit website nata).

Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. course should also submit the Application form to the CEE. There is no State level Entrance Examination for this purpose. However such candidates should write the National Aptitude Test for Architecture and should forward the NATA score and mark list of the qualifying examination to the CEE.

Relaxation of marks in the Qualifying Examination: For all courses, a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination will be allowed to those candidates who belong to the communities listed under the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and whose annual family income is up to Rs 4.5 lakhs (Rupees Four Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only). SC, ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. But candidates belonging to SEBC categories, seeking admission to MBBS, BDS courses, need 45% marks in Biology, Biotechnology and 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Biotechnology put together, in the qualifying examination and 40% marks in Medical Entrance Examination. Candidates belonging to SC, ST categories need 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Biotechnology put together in the qualifying examination and 40% marks in the Entrance Examination for seeking admission to MBBS, BDS Courses. Candidates with Locomotory Disability between 40% and 70% need only 45% marks for Biology, Biotechnology and 45% marks for Biology, Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry taken together as academic eligibility for MBBS course. They need only 45% marks in the Entrance Examination to qualify for MBBS course.

Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2017

Schedule for the Entrance Examinations:

The Entrance Examinations will be held at all the District Centres in Kerala, New Delhi and Dubai (UAE), on the dates mentioned below as per Indian Standard Time (IST)

How To Apply:

KEAM Online submission of application through the website is required to apply for the Entrance Examination for admission to all the courses (Medical & Allied, Engineering and Architecture). If candidate submits more than one printout of the application, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled

The detailed instructions for filling each item in the application are given in Annexure-XX of the Prospectus and in the link, "How to apply" provided on the websites 

Application Fees

A candidate who does not belong to SC, ST communities will be treated as ‘General’ candidate for the collection of application fee. The application fee for all candidates will be as follows:

For General Candidates: Rs.1000/-

For SC Candidates: Rs. 500/-

ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Security Cards (free of cost) and Prospectus will be distributed through Tribal Welfare Offices on production of ST Certificate

Candidates choosing 'Dubai' as Exam Centre will have to remit an additional fee of Rs.12000/- by way of a Demand Draft drawn on a Nationalised Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram along with the printout of the application

Mode of Payment

Candidate can pay application fee in either of the two following methods:

Security Card: Security Card and Prospectus can be obtained from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State, on payment of the prescribed fee (Rs.1000/- or Rs. 500/- as the case may be), by cash

List of Post Offices that issue Prospectus and Security card will be notified separately. Security card will not be available at the Office of the CEE

Demand Draft: Application fee can be paid by way of Demand Draft drawn on a Nationalised, Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Exams, payable at Thiruvananthapuram

Admit Card

The Admit Cards of Entrance Examinations can be downloaded from the website  from 28th March 2017

The printout of the admit card thus obtained will have to be produced at the time of exam. Admit Cards will not be sent by post from this office to the candidates

IPU CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the IPU CET 2017 eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for the exam.

Here are the GGSIPU-CET-2017 Eligibility requirements:

Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board

A minimum aggregate of 55% in class 12th is a prerequisite, but the candidate must have passed all subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) separately

The candidates must have passed English subject (core, elective or functional)

They should be 21 years old as on the date of examination

The candidates appearing in Class 12th exam in 2017 are eligible to apply provided that they should be able to meet the eligibility criteria at the time of IPU-CET counseling.
The appearing candidates are required to present the 12th class mark sheets at the time of counseling

Age Limit

(As on 01st August 2017 candidate should not be more than)

i) For all Undergraduate Programmes where entry qualification is 12th pass other than MBBS, BDS - 21st years

ii) For MBBS, BDS - 35 years

iii) For all other Post Graduate Programs where entry qualification is graduation - 45 years

iv) Bachelor of Vocation - 45 year

Note

1. Candidate should be not less than 17 years as on 31st December 2017 for BHMS, BAMS, MBBS, BDS Program

2. For MPH (FE) Programme, upper age limit is 45 years for in service candidates and 35 years for direct candidates, as in August 2017

3. For BHMS candidates, the candidate must have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as in December 2017

4. For Bachelor of Vocation Programmes the candidate should not be less than 16 years in December 2017

5. For SC, ST, OBC category candidates for MBBS,BDS CET, a relaxation of 5 years shall be granted on the maximum age specified.

IPU CET 2017 Admit Card

All candidates must possess their IPU CET 2017 Admit Card while appearing for the entrance test

Admit card can be downloaded from the university website just 7 days prior to the CET exam date

Applicants can download IPU CET 2017 Hall Ticket by using their login and password. The applicants must carry two hard copies of the admit card, with 2 passport photographs on it, on the day of the exam

Candidates must preserve the Admit Card of IPU CET 2017 till the time of counselling, admission

IPU CET 2017 Exam Pattern

Candidates must read the exam pattern of IPU CET 2017 to know about various aspects of the exam and question paper such as number, type and weightage of the questions, exam duration and marking scheme. IPU CET 2017 Exam pattern is given below:

The test will be comprised of total 150 questions

The questions are asked from the syllabus of class 11th and 12th

The total time for the entrance test will be 150 minutes

For B.Tech the question will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths

There is equal weightage for all the three subjects

The questions will be of objective type having four answers

There will be negative marking for the wrong answers

Four marks will be given for a correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

The entrance exam for B.Tech will be conducted in first week of May 2017 where as the entrance exam for B.Tech (Biotechnology) will be conducted in third week of May 2017

Interested candidates are required to fill the application form online, latest by last week of March 2017

How to Apply:

IPU CET 2017 Application Form

To apply for the exam and admission process, the candidates will be required to fill IPU CET 2017 Application Form. The forms could be obtained from the official website of IP University, from last week of March 2017

Procedure to Fill Online Application Forms: Fill the details and click on Next to proceed. Use Mouse to move between fields for entry of data instead of using Tab Key. Fields marked with are mandatory. Once a candidate has submitted his,her details, they cannot edit the same and have to re register in case they need to change any personal information.

General Instructions

The detailed instructions about the online counselling, User Manual, FAQs shall be available on the University website www.ipu.ac.in & www.ipuadmissions.nic.in. Candidates are advised to go through the details thoroughly at these sites before registration. This information shall be available before the start of the online counselling. Aspirants, candidates should keep seeing the University website(s) in this regard.

The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility as given in the Admission Brochure carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for admission in various programmes before registering online for admission and submitting the fees

Submission of Counselling Participation Fee

Candidate has to deposit a nonrefundable Rs.1000,- plus charges as applicable, as one time (non refundable) Counselling Participation Fee, as per the schedule for each CET Code

For depositing the Counselling Participation Fee, the candidate has to visit the GGSIP University admission website www.ipuadmissions.nic.in and select the option for “payment of counselling participation fee" enters CET details viz CET Roll No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number. After submission of the details as mentioned in para 2 the candidate will get two options of payment:

i) Cash payment (challan will be generated and fee may be deposited through cash in any branch of Indian Bank)

ii) Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card

The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment on the website www.ipuadmissions.nic.in and must take the printout of online fee confirmation receipt with the transaction details, to be retained for all future reference. In case of payment of fee through Challan, the candidate must retain the copy of the Challan after depositing the fees

Important Note: Common Entrance Test (CET) will be held for all regular programmes run in University Schools of Study and affiliated colleges

DAV University, Jalandhar has announced the exam dates for DAV University Entrance cum Scholarship Test (DAVUET), which will be conducted in April 2017. The DAVUET will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

DAVUET is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) honors in Agriculture, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology, Bachelor of commerce (B.Com),Mater of commerce (M.com),Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs for the session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for DAVUET 2017:

For B.Tech./B.Sc/B.Com/BBA Programs:

Candidate who has passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate of marks in respective are eligible to apply.

A candidate who is appearing or has appeared in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th standard in 2017, is eligible to appear in the test.

For M.Com./MBA Programs: Candidate who has passed or appearing for Bachelors’ degree are also eligible to apply.

Application Procedure for DAVUET 2017:

Candidates can applyonline.

Candidate may also get the registration form from the Principal of the opted examination centre by paying Rs. 200/-.

Mode of payment can be paid through cash or multicity cheque or demand draft.

The fee can also be deposited through Multicity cheque/DD of Rs 200/-drawn in favour of “Principal, (fill in respective examination centre) payable at the respective city.

Paper Pattern for DAVUET 2017: The question paper shall be based on CBSE syllabi of 10+1 and 10+2.

Question paper will be in English language only and questions will be of multiple choices (MCQ) type.

Each question will have 4choices out of which only one correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate circle is to be shaded on the provided OMR sheet.

Each question will carry one mark.
