Eligibility:

PhD in Chemical Sciences:

Master's degree with a keen sense of scientific enquiry for pursuing advanced research in frontier areas of Chemical Science. The candidate should be having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/ SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC etc.), or INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships

PhD in Chemical Engineering:

(I)           A Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology following a four-year engineering/technology or 4/5 year science degree; or an integrated minimum-5-year M Tech degree; or equivalent.

And

(II)         At least one of the following

(a)   Awarded a national-level fellowship (such as NET JRF) tenable at CSIR institutes

(b)   Meeting all the conditions required for eligibility for the CSIR-SRF

(c)    Meeting all the conditions for the award of the INSPIRE fellowship (typically awarded to students ranked first in the University)

The project assistants working at CSIR-IIP are also encouraged to apply for the PhD program (Chemical Sciences and Chemical engineering) meeting the eligibility criteria as per the CSIR OM No. 4/CMG/2016-PPD, dated July 4, 2016.

Selection Procedure: 

Shortlisted candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be called for test and / or interview. Based on the academic record and performance of the candidates in the test and / or interview, the committee recommends names of the selected candidates for the PhD program. Final list of selected candidates for PhD program will be announced on this webpage and AcSIR webpage. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the screening test and/or interview or at the time of joining.

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), has been constituted as a non profit organization with the express objective of engaging in activities for the promotion of training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. About College:

Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati is the first among the 3rd phase of IITs, announced in 2014, to have its foundation stone laid in March 2015. It started functioning with the support of it’s mentoring institute, IIT Madras from the academic year of 2015-16. The academic program was launched in August 2015 by admitting students in the B.Tech programme in the fields of Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The curriculum has emphasis on theoretical knowledge and practice oriented laboratories. Courses are planned to nurture innovation, creativity, quality, teamwork, communication skills, ethics and societal interaction. MS and PhD programmes will be started from academic year 2017-18.

Presently, IIT Tirupati is operating from the temporary campus on Tirupati – Renigunta Road and also the transit campus at Yerpedu. The transit campus was formally inaugurated by the Director Prof. K.N Satyanarayana on 6th August 2018 and the orientation program for first year students was organized on 7th August 2018. Two boys hostels are now operational for first year students and the third hostel is almost ready for occupation by senior students. 120 and 60 seater classrooms are also ready for conducting classes for the first year students. With these arrangements, transit campus operations have started from August 2018.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) [Research Areas: Engineering, Sciences & Humanities and Social Sciences]

Eligibility:

Ph.D. in Engineering:

(a) Candidates with a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master’s degree by Research in Engineering/Technology with a good academic record.

(b) Candidates with Master’s degree in Sciences with a good academic record and of exceptional merit are eligible for the relevant Engineering discipline. They should have a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR-NET/NBHM or equivalent qualification in the relevant area tenable for the year of registration.

(c) Candidates who have qualified for the award of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) with an exceptionally good academic record in an eligible discipline will be considered for direct admission to Ph.D. provided he/she has a minimum CGPA of 8/10 (7.5 for OBCNCL and 7.0 for SC/ST/PwD on a 10-point scale).

Ph.D. in Sciences:

(a) Master’s degree in Sciences with a good academic record and having a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR-NET/NBHM or equivalent qualification tenable for the current year in the relevant area. Master’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology are also eligible.

(b) Candidates who have qualified for the award of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) with an exceptionally good academic record in an eligible discipline will be considered for direct admission to Ph.D. in Sciences provided he/she has a minimum CGPA of 8/10 (7.5 for OBC- NCL and 7.0 for SC/ST/PwD on a 10.0-point scale).

Ph.D in Humanities and Social Sciences: Master's degree in an eligible discipline with a good academic record or equivalent and having a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR- NET/NBHM or equivalent qualification tenable for the current year in the relevant area.

Eligibility:

The minimum educational qualifications for admission to the M.S. by research degree for full time scholars are as follows:

(a) Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant departments with valid GATE score.

(b) Candidates having Associate Membership of the following professional bodies are also eligible for admission to the M.S. programme of their parent discipline provided they have a valid GATE score and have passed both part A and part B of the Membership examinations with a good academic record: The Institution of Engineers (India) (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and communications), The Institute of Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering.

(c) Engineering graduates from IITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTI) with a CGPA of at least 8/10 (7.5 for OBC-NCL and 7 for SC/ST/PwD) are eligible for seeking admission, without GATE score, to the MS Programme and they can be offered HTRA, if selected.

(d) Candidates under External Registration should have the same qualification as in (a) however, valid GATE score is not required.

The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar owes its origin to a Social Contract between the Government of Orissa and the OJS (Orissa Jesuit Society). Eligibility

·         The minimum requirement for admission to MBA program is a three-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by 15th June 2019, can also apply.

·         Offers of admission to such candidates, if made, will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to complete all the requirements for obtaining the degree before 15th June 2019

Selection Process: The admissions committee will evaluate the candidates based on the candidate’s academic history, recommendations, CAT/XAT/GMAT/X-GMT score, and personal interview, he selected students must be ready with their respective Visas and travel documents for joining the program by the due dates as applicable (to be intimated). Obtaining the VISA is the responsibility of the students.

Admission Test:

·         Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests:

·         XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on January 06, 2019, or

·         CAT to be conducted by IIMs on November 25, 2018, or

·         GMAT taken in 2017 or 2018 or

·         X-GMT to be conducted by Xavier University Bhubaneswar on 27th January 2019. Applicants opting for XAT/CAT have to follow XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time. Registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB, if not opting for X-GMT

Applicants also have to fill up the online application form separately for XUB Program at www.xub.edu.in or https://forms.xub.edu.in. Upon successfully filling the online application form and paying the application fee, the applicant will be intimated by email about the acceptance of the form.

Step 1: Fill up the "Login Details" (in the Next page) to create and receive by email a unique XUB ID and Password for applying to XIMB, XUB; if you have already received your XUB ID and Password, then login as per Step 2

Step 2: Login with your XUB ID and Password; fill up the Personal Details, Academic Details, Professional Details, upload your photo & signature, and choose the program/s you want to apply for and the respective test option/s, and Submit (You may keep ready the scanned/digital images of your photo/signature in JPEG format, in advance. The dimensions of photo may be of about 200 x 250 pixels, and the signature may be of about 250 x 125 pixels, both images within 50 kb each in size)

Step 3: Pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway. (Application fee is Rs.1500/- for the first option, and Rs.700/- each for the subsequent options. Use single form for applying for multiple programs and/or through multiple tests)

If you have filled the application form and paid the application fee successfully, you will receive the confirmation by email regarding the acceptance of your online application form

PGDM, PGDM DCP & MBA 2 year full-time globally accredited residential programmes at different IMT campuses [IMT Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Dubai]

Eligibility:
Applicants for all IMT PGDM and MBA programs must have a minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks in any discipline. Applicants who are appearing for the final-year degree examination can also apply, subject to submission of all mark sheets and pass certificate to IMT’s Academic Program office at a later date. Failing to do so will result in admission being cancelled.

IMT Ghaziabad:

To apply for IMT Ghaziabad’s two year PGDM program, applicants must be registered for CAT-2018 OR XAT-2019 OR have taken/taking the GMAT (January 1, 2015 – February 28, 2019). In the case of the candidates applying on the basis of GMAT and score is not provided, processing of application will be provisional, subject to IMT receiving the official GMAT score on or before March 15, 2019.

IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad:

To apply for IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad’s 2 year PGDM program, applicants must be registered for CAT-2018 OR XAT-2019 OR CMAT-2019*  OR have taken the GMAT (1st January 2015 – February 28, 2019). In case of the candidate(s) applying on the basis of GMAT and score is not provided, processing of application will be provisional, subject to IMT receiving the official GMAT score on or before March 15, 2019

Note: CMAT-2019* test will be considered for IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad Campus ONLY.
IMT shortlists applicants on basis of best score among the above mentioned tests.

IMT Dubai:

Applicants for the MBA program at IMT Dubai must have a full time undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s degree) from an accredited university with a CGPA of 3.0 and above on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent (50%+ overall average).

Applicants whose native language is not English are required to take an English Proficiency Test. The minimum required score for TOEFL is 550 (paper-based) and 80(internet based) or an IELTS band of 6.0.

Submitting your application:

To apply to IMT, an applicant must complete the online ‘Application Form’. There is one Common ‘Application Form’ for all four campuses – IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, IMT Hyderabad and IMT Dubai (August 2019 intake).

In the ‘Application Form‘ the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details, etc. and at least one of the following: ID for CAT-2018 OR ID for XAT-2019 OR ID for GMAT OR Roll-No for CMAT-2019*. IMT Ghaziabad will be accepting CAT OR XAT OR GMAT scores. IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad will be accepting CAT OR XAT OR GMAT OR CMAT scores. The applicant is required to fill the IDs of the entire test score he/she wishes to submit.

Note: CMAT-2019* test will be considered for IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad Campus ONLY.

After completing the form, the applicant can make payment by one of three options:

1)    Pay directly through Credit/Debit card or Net Banking: If the payment goes through and ‘Application Number’ is generated, the application is considered submitted. Applicants will receive a confirmation email within the next 24 hours.

2)    Pay through demand draft: The applicant must make a demand draft payable to “Institute of Management Technology” payable at Ghaziabad or Delhi for the amount of Rs 2,000/-plus applicable taxes.  On the ‘Application Form‘, applicants must provide the demand draft number, name of bank, date, location of bank and amount. After providing these details, the applicant will be directed to a new window that has the details of the information submitted and the ‘tear-off’ sheet together with an ‘Application Form Number’.

Applicants should take a printout of this form and keep it for their future reference. Applicants must affix their passport-size self-attested photo to the tear-off sheet and send the demand draft along with it. Once the demand draft and tear-off sheet are received by IMT Ghaziabad, the status is automatically updated on the website. Applicants will also receive a confirmation email within the next 24 hours.
Applicants are advised to have their demand draft details ready before filling the form.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Program(s), the participants must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognised university in India or abroad (recognised by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the program. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education, after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2019. Candidates who are unable to comply with this requirement are liable to be rejected from the programme. ·         Applicant should complete the online application form and submit it along with the admission application fee, which is non-refundable.

·         Cost of an application form will be Rs.2200/- for an applicant desirous of applying to any one of the two-Year Program(s) of IMI Delhi. In addition, if the applicant desires to apply for another program(s) also then candidate is required to pay Rs.500/- per program(s) additionally.

·         The admission fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway. No receipts are to be sent to IMI’s Admission Office in such a case.

·         Applications complete in all respects, including application fees, should be submitted online by midnight of December 03, 2018. Incomplete forms are liable to be rejected summarily.
