About College:

Nidhi Dube from the Indian Institute of Craft and Design wrote to me to introduce Tejas Soni and his experiments with the Dhokra craft. Dhokra is an ancient craft practised by nomadic tribes who have since settled into parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa and parts of southern India. One of the earliest known pieces found was the Bronze dancing girl at Mohenjadaro. The craft is practised by both men and women and the objects are cast in metal using what is known as the lost wax process. Today it features more as a exotic buy rather than a relevant ingredient in our daily lives as it was in the ancient times when religious figures, jewellery, diyas, animal figurines and vessels were essential in many homes.

The revival, support, reinterpretation of any ancient art is often met with skepticism – will reinterpretation dilute the legacy or turn it into something commercial and ubiquitous and most important of all, will it benefit the ones who started it all. Tejas Soni works with artisans to reinterpret Dhokra in the modern context – the work is clean and the objects are utilitarian thus can merge in our daily life easily. The forms within it make me wonder – a platter with a cowherd and his cows, a jug with a tribal man on the handle, tribal girls in a trivet – the forms used by the metalworkers in ancient times were an interpretation of the times they lived in – for us, these forms, though lovely, are far removed – how will we choose to interact with them – will we be conscious of their presence or will they perhaps be, just another design element. Let’s explore his work and views.

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2017 shall be conducted only in the online mode in multiple sessions. Competent Authority, using standardized equi-percentile method, will be equating scores across sessions

Aspiring candidates should note that, the tests are not disclosed to anybody else other than the candidates only during the examination; the test papers are also not shared with anybody even after the examination

The CET comprises multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical / Abstract Reasoning. In all there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes)

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), has been constituted as a non profit organization with the express objective of engaging in activities for the promotion of education, training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. Shri Ram Sharma Acharya, a pioneer of spiritual renaissance, was born on 20th September 1911, at Awalkheda, in Agra District. Since his childhood, he had such a keen and unswerving inclination towards spirituality that was very uncommon for the children his age. He scrupulously carried out the biddings of his guru, a great Himalayan Yogi, who appeared to him in his prayer cell, when he was 15 years of age. He predicted the golden future for mankind and gave an optimistic vision to his disciples. In the long, slow, tedious and meandering march of evolution of human consciousness, culture and civilizations over the millennium, it has been only on rare turning points that an ‘Avatar’- like multifaceted genius with superhuman attributes has appeared on the human scene to raise human consciousness to a higher nobler plane.

He endeavored 24 Mahapurushcharans of Gayatri Mahamantra; took part in the non- violent struggle for India’s independence as a volunteer; went to jail a number of times as part of the freedom struggle, and embarked upon the task of social and moral upliftment through spiritual means with the blessings of Mahatama Gandhi. The Saint-Scholar-Philosopher Pandit Shri Ram Sharma Acharya, undoubtedly, belongs to this small rare group of divine vibhutis.

Adorable Mata Bhagwati Devi, revered to be an incarnation of the Shakti of Mother Goddess Durga by the Gayatri Pariwar, has been the foremost collaborator and discipline of Gurudev Acharyashri (known as Gurudev by the disciples). She contributed the most in giving concrete shape to the ideas and dreams of her Soul-mate.

Graduation (min 50%) and 10+2 (Min 60%)

§          For MBA programs the admission is based on CAT, MAT and GMAT score. 

§          If you have not appeared in CAT or MAT or your score is less than the required cut off accepted by Amity, then you can appear for Amity Written Test followed by GD and/or Interview on the day of selection process. This will be applicable to all specialised MBA Programs only.

The Cost of the Admission Form is Rs. 1,100 /-

F       By paying online with credit card

F       By downloading free and submitting with DD of Rs. 1,100/- in favour of ‘Amity Form’ payable at New Delhi.

F       At over 348 AXIS (formerly UTI) Bank Branches 

Completing the Application Form

1        Fill in the Application Form only if you satisfy yourselves about your eligibility for admission to the programme.

2        If you have appeared in a qualifying examination and the result thereof is awaited, you can apply provisionally to go through admission process at your own risk.

3        The Application Form has to be filled in your own handwriting in black ink.

4        The instructions in the Application Form are self-explanatory. Please follow them strictly.

5        It is mandatory to provide your email address (clearly) as it will be used by the Admission Office for any communication.

6        Please attach self attested copies of your mark sheets/testimonials with the Application Form. At this stage do not send any original copies of mark sheets / Testimonials. Anything submitted will not be returned.

7        Mark sheets of Board/University submitted with the application form only will be considered for all procedure related to admission.

8        It may be noted that no request for change in the particulars filled in the Application Form by you will be entertained under any circumstances.
