Thapar University (TU) was established on 8 October 1956 as an Engineering College named Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. It is a University established in 1985 vide Sec.3 of the UGC Act, 1956 under notification # F.9-12/84-U.3. Thapar University offers Post-graduate and undergraduate programs in Engineering, Science, Management and Social Sciences. After independence, India witnessed an enormous upsurge in its population. With this upsurge came the challenge of keeping pace with the fast technological development taking place around the globe. To meet this challenge and prepare the country’s youth for the 21st century, a sudden boom took place in the Indian education sector with the rapid growth of universities and colleges.

The entry of private players in education sector was never witnessed before. Today various private institutions have set up state-of-the-art tertiary education colleges which are coming up as centres of excellence in their respective regions. One of such reputed name, Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC) was set up as a self financed institution to cater to the demands of technical education in the NCR region of UP.

2.      The candidate will have to submit the above-mentioned certificates in original at the time of counselling without which the admission shall not be granted, except the certificate of completion of internship and registration at Sr. No. (iii) & (iv) mentioned above which will have to be submitted positively, failing which their Provisional Admission will stand cancelled without any further notice.

3.      A candidate who is already admitted to a course in any institution is eligible to apply for another course only after passing the first course. An undertaking to this effect will have to be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission. Concealment of facts would invite disqualification.

4.      After commencement of the PG Courses(Degree/Diploma), if a candidate having joined the course leaves it before the completion of full period :

2.      The candidate will have to submit the above-mentioned certificates in original at the time of counselling without which the admission shall not be granted, except the certificate of completion of internship and registration at Sr. No. (iii) & (iv) mentioned above which will have to be submitted by 20.5.2017 positively, failing which their Provisional Admission will stand cancelled without any further notice.

3.      A candidate who is already admitted to a course in any institution is eligible to apply for another course only after passing the first course. An undertaking to this effect will have to be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission. Concealment of facts would invite disqualification.

4.      After commencement of the PG Courses(Degree/Diploma), if a candidate having joined the course leaves it before the completion of full period :

i)       he/she will be debarred for next three years from applying for admission to any P.G. Course (Degree/Diploma) in the M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mullana-Ambala ; and

ii)     He/she will have to execute a Bond for payment of full fee of PG Diploma Courses, at the time of admission and will be liable to pay the bond money in case he leaves before the completion of full period of the course.

5.      Candidates already in service must submit their Application Form through their employer or produce 'No Objection Certificate', from their employer on or before the last date fixed for receipt of Application Forms.

The Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, was established on October 20, 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana. It was formally inaugurated on November 1, 1995. It is named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a saint environmentalist of 15th century. Keeping in view the nature of courses offered at the University and the mandate for which it had been established the name of the University has been changed as Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology. The University is situated at Hisar, a rapidly growing town situated at about 170 Km. from Delhi on Delhi-Rohtak- Hisar- Sirsa- Fazilka National Highway (NH-10) and at a distance of about 230 Km. from Chandigarh on NH-65. The University is situated over a sprawling area of about 372 acres. The campus is laid out with picturesque landscape, numerous buildings of various designs and wide road network. It presents a spectacle of harmony in architecture and natural beauty. Approximately, 225 acres of land have been developed providing with all modern facilities such as road networks, water supply, street lighting, electricity supply and parks/ lawns. The University has a cafeteria with the facility of a big dinning hall, kitchen, store and office on the ground floor. One big hall is also on the first floor. The cafeteria provides refreshment breakfast and lunch facilities. Facilities for special program like tea party etc. are also available here. About College:

The Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (Formerly Paddy Processing Research Centre) is a pioneer Research and Development Institute under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. The Institute has its origin way back in 1967 when it was started as R & D laboratory in the Modern Rice Mill complex of Thanjavur Co-operative Marketing Federation (TCMF) at Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, India under the dedicated leadership and the able guidance of late Dr. V. Subrahmanyan. an eminent scientist and founder Director, Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore. The mandate of the Institute at its inception was to seek solutions for preserving high moisture paddy because the paddy harvest season in Southern India coincided with the tail end of the South West monsoon. The Institute was later upgraded as a national laboratory with the name Paddy Processing Research Centre (PPRC) in 1972. At the time of up-gradation the mandates of the Institute were also changed and the scientists in the Institute focused their research in identifying technologies for post harvest procession and preservation of paddy. The Institute was moved to it current location at Thanjavur in 1984. Considering the vital importance of strengthening R & D efforts in the post-harvest processing, preservation and value addition of raw agricultural produce, the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) strengthened and upgraded the PPRC as a National Institute in February 2008 and was called as Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT).

Educational Qualification:

The journey of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute, began in 1905 at Pusa (Bihar) with the generous grant of 30,000 pounds from an American philanthropist, Mr. Henry Phipps. The institute was then known as Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) which functioned with five departments, namely Agriculture, Cattle Breeding, Chemistry, Economic Botany and Mycology. Bacteriology unit was added in 1907.  The name of ARI was changed to Imperial Institute of Agricultural Research in 1911 and, in 1919 it was renamed as Imperial Agricultural Research Institute. Following a devastating earth quake on 15th January 1934, the institute was shifted to Delhi on 29th July 1936. Post independence, the institute has been renamed as Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).
