KMAT Kerala 2018 will be conducted by the University of Kerala for the candidates seeking admission to various MBA Courses. The online applications are invited for the MBA Entrance Examination

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must be an Indian citizen

Domicile: Aspirant should be a native of Kerala

All candidates desirous of getting MBA 2018 admission to Universities/Institutions in Kerala and who have not qualified CAT/MAT/CMAT, the KMAT 2018 text, proposed to be conducted in all the Districts in Kerala by the Kannur University under the supervision of Admission Supervisory Committee, is mandatory

KMAT Kerala Admit Cards

After the successful application process, the admit card will be issued the candidates before the date of examination; the candidate will have to download the admit card using their Application Number and other required details on the official website

As the admit card will be important document without which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination

There, the candidates must carry the admit card along with the photo ID proof on the day of the examination

KMAT Kerala 2018 Result

Aspirants can access the KMAT Kerala result 2018 from the website. KMAT Kerala 2018 results will be released through online mode only. Candidates can check their result in the month of March 2018. The result will not be sent to the any aspirant individually

How to Apply:

Application Form

Application for admission to Entrance Examination of MBA course in Kerala can be submitted only through online in the website www.kmatkerala.in. Application fee can be remitted online from 15th November 2017 to 19th January 2018

There are two steps for submitting the application

Step-I Remitting Application Fee Online

Select category “APPLICATION FEE FOR GENERAL CANDIDATES” or “APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST CANDIDATES”. Fill all the details correctly and complete the online fee payment process. Note that the details entered during online fee payment such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and E-Mail ID cannot be changed later

So, enter these details with utmost care. The date of birth has to be strictly entered to in dd/mm/yyyy format

Application Fee for General Candidates is Rs.1000/- and SC/ST Candidates is Rs.750/- payable through online only by way of Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card facility of any bank. Fee once remitted will not be refunded. Bank Charges, if any, will be levied by the candidate in addition to the application fee

On successful payment of the Application fee online, the candidate will get a ‘SB Collect Reference Number’ and a receipt of fee payment. The candidate is advised to take a printout of the online receipt. The candidate has to note that the ‘SB Collect Reference Number’ which is needed for later logging into the site to continue with Step-II

Step-I Completing Online Submission

On the next day of payment of the Application fee, the candidate can complete online submission of application [Note: if the next day is a Sunday / Public holiday(s), then you can complete the online submission only on the next working day]

From the Home Page of the website, the candidate has to login by entering the ‘SB Collect Reference Number’ and Date of Birth. The candidate is taken to a page where he/she is asked to fill in personal and academic details

The candidate should take utmost care in filling in these details. Also, a unique Application Number will be generated and displayed on the top of this page. Candidate has to keep record of this Application Number, which is later required to print the Hall Ticket. It is also required for future correspondence

Admission Process 

B-CAT 2018 is meant for MCA 3 years full time and MCA 2 years Full Time (Second Year Lateral Entry), B-CAT examination of BVDU is compulsory for all which is schedule on 25th March 2018 

The admissions are strictly done on basis of merit and seats available at center. 

Subject to the above conditions, the final admission is based solely on the merit at the all India entrance test (B-CAT) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune (India).

Candidates who are presently studying in the final year of Bachelor's degree course can also appear for the entrance test and seek admission for MCA Programin the year 2018-19. However, they are eligible for admission only if- 
The Exam of all semesters/years (regular as well as backlog) will be completed by 30th June 2017 

The last date to submit all the certificates in original shall be 31st August 2017. If the certificates are not submitted by the said date, the eligibility will not be granted and the admission would automatically stand cancelled

Research Fellowship

FLAME (Foundation for Liberal And Management Education) was founded in 2004, by Mr. Nemish Shah (Founder Director, FLAME; Philanthropist; Financial Advisor and Founder, ENAM Financial Consultants Pvt. About College:

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was established in 1964 for the study of issues and policies relating to public enterprises (PEs).  Shri.S.S Khera, ICS, the then Cabinet Secretary, Government of India, had conceived the idea of a research institution that would undertake a systematic and sustained study of issues relevant to the formulation of policies towards public enterprises. In the early sixties, when PEs were designed as the principal instrument to serve the social and economic objectives of development, Shri. Khera felt that there was need for an institute which would collect relevant information and documents on PEs, study specific issues and undertake consultancy and training exclusively for PEs. Dr.V.V. Ramanadham, the then Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce, Osmania University, translated Shri Khera’s concept into a reality that is IPE, with the active support and guidance provided by the late Dr. D. S Reddy, then Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University as an autonomous, non-profit society at the initiative of the then Cabinet Secretary to the Government of India, Shri S.S.Khera, ICS, and late Dr.D.S.Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University. The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, recognized the Institute as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in social science research in 1976.  The Institute is partly funded by the ICSSR and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The Institute is located in a picturesque greenwood area at Hyderabad in Osmania University Campus. Over the last 40 years, the Institute has widened the area of its work. Starting with research, the Institute soon found itself having to undertake consultancy for PEs and responding to the training needs of the executives of PEs and various educational programmes. 

The Institute became a pioneer in the field of computerization, assisting the Government of Andhra Pradesh and several other states in formulation of computerization policy, developing software for PEs and public systems, and on the use of computers as a decision support system.

The educational programmes of the Institute have their basic foundation in the various research, training and consultancy activities undertaken by the Institute for public and private organizations/industries over the last four decades. The programmes are the natural extension of the educational activities of the Institute from the short term management education to the long-term one and have lead to vertical integration of the research function. The insights into management education began in 1981 with the commencement of a 3-year part time MBA (PE) programme for practicing managers. In the year 1995, the Institute started a two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), recognized as equivalent to MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), to provide skilled human resources to meet the requirements of the Industry. Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management EPGDM in Institute of Public Enterprise, IPE, Hyderabad

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST/PC candidates), of any of the universities or declared to be deemed as a university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India 

Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination (or equivalent examination) can also apply. The proof of acquiring the required qualification should be submitted within four weeks from the date of the commencement of the course 

Candidates have to appear at the Admission Test (CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ GMAT) 

Selection Procedure 

Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate’s score in CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT, Group Discussion &Personal Interview and a Consistent Academic Record. Equal Weightage shall be given to the Performance in Admission Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interviews and Consistent Academic Record 

Scholarship Details 

The institute offers Scholarships to students having the following percentile in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA: 

i. CAT/XAT/GMAT percentile -80 & above - Rs.1,00,000/- 

ii. Between 75-79 (CAT/XAT/GMAT) and 95 & above percentile in MAT - Rs.80000/- 

iii. Between 70-74 (CAT/XAT/GMAT); 85-94 percentile in MAT and 95 & above percentile in CMAT/ ATMA - Rs.60000/-

Affirmative Scholarship Scheme

A scholarship of 60,000 would be awarded to the top ranker among the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Muslim minority candidates in the eligible Admission tests
