Students appearing for their final year can apply but their admission will be provisional and subject to obtaining the minimum required marks and fulfilling other eligibility criteria. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has been established under THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR SHRI MATA VAISHNO DEVI UNIVERSITY ACT, 1999.an Act of the J&K State Legislature (ACT No. XII of 1999 dated 12th May 1999) as an autonomous, highly Technical & fully Residential University.

Admission to MBA program will be based on Extempore Speech, Personal Interview & CAT-2016 score (Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institutes of Management). Applicants who have not taken CAT-2016 will not be considered for admission.

Admission to Ph.D. programme will be based on Academic Performance, Essay Writing and Personal Interview of the eligible candidates as per the Eligibility Criteria.

Christ University, formerly Christ College (Autonomous) affiliated to Bangalore University was established in July 1969.
