The Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi is a Government of India institution and only of its nature in eastern India. The British established this hospital on 17th May 1918 with the name of Ranchi European Lunatic Asylum. It had then a capacity of 174 patients (92 male and 82 female). The history of Centre dates back to 1974 when the Department of Electronics (DoE) now Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India and the University Grants Commission (UGC) set up the first CEDT within the premises of Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Bangalore with assistance from Swiss Development Corporation. A decade after the successful running of CEDT, Bangalore, DoE (now MeitY) set up similar centres at Aurangabad, Imphal andSrinagar in 1987, Calicut, Mohali and Gorakhpur in 1989, with an objective to develop human resources at different levels and in different specialized areas of Electronics Design. Aim was to bridge the gap between the academic institutions and industries. The CEDT centres based at Aurangabad, Calicut, Gorakhpur, Imphal and Srinagar were merged with DOEACC (a scientific society of MeitY) in 2001. In order for its metamorphism into an Institute of National Importance the Society was renamed as ‘National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on October 10, 2011.

Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha was the visionary who conceptulised the Indian Nuclear Programme and along with a handful of Scientists initiated the nuclear science research in India in March, 1944. He envisaged the vast potential of nuclear energy and its possible successful utilization in the field of power generation and allied areas. Dr. Bhabha started working with the goal of achieving self reliance in the fields of nuclear science and engineering and today’s Department of Atomic Energy which is a consortium of different and diversified fields of science and engineering is the final outcome of the farsighted planning of Dr. Bhabha. Eligibility:

The eligibility for admission to the DipRP course is M.Sc. (Physics) with not less than 60% marks in aggregate through full time programme. In addition, the candidate should posses the B.Sc. (physics as a main subject) Degree with not less than 60% marks in aggregate. In case of grade system, grade to percentage of marks conversion scheme obtained from the University should be submitted along with the application failing which application will not be considered. The sponsored candidates should have at least one-year working experience in a Radiotherapy Department of Government Institution in India. The working experience will be counted from the date of enrolment in personal monitoring services. A certificate/declaration in this matter should be furnished at the time of interview. The sponsored candidate should also submit a documentary evidence of availing personal monitoring service from BARC/accredited laboratories. 

Those who await the final results of M.Sc. (Physics) Degree may also apply. However, such candidates should necessarily attach copies of the mark sheets of B.Sc. Degree and a copy of M.Sc. first year mark sheet(s) along with the application. If appearing candidates are selected for admission to DipRP course, they should submit their M. Sc. Degree and mark  sheet by October 30, 2019 failing which their candidature may be terminated. In case the appearing candidates admitted to the course do not secure 60% marks in aggregate in the M.Sc. (Physics) examination, their candidature will be terminated.

Selection procedure

Selection of non-sponsored candidates is based on written test followed by an interview. Please note that CET is meant for screening the candidates and the final selection to the course is solely based on performance in the interview.

Stipend

On admission to the course, each non-sponsored candidate is eligible to receive a stipend of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) per month for a period of one year. The sponsored candidates are not eligible for the stipend.

Admission fee

The candidates should pay an admission fee of Rs.6000/- (Rupees Six thousand only) at the time of admission. The fee should be paid in the form of a crossed Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, HBNI, payable at Mumbai.

Eligibility:

(A)Qualifications: MBBS/BDS from an institute/College recognized by MCI/DCI, Govt. of India.

(B)Age: the upper age limit for admission is 35 years as on 30th June 2019. Upper age limit is relaxable as per govt. of U.P. rules in force at the time of admission.

About College:

In the present scenario of industrialization; particularly in the engineering field, requirements of specialized tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, moulds, gauges and other precision components are indispensable. Simultaneously demand for quality Tool makers, Tool & Product Designers, Skilled manufacturers, PLC & Industrial Automation engineers and Maintenance Engineers is also growing rapidly. Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar is one of such training, production, design and consultancy centre established in technical cooperation programme between Govt. of India & Govt. of Denmark to meet the above requirements. The excellent infrastructural facilities like land, building etc. have been contributed by Govt. of Orissa. Training activities started in 1991 and Tool production in 1995.
